I have heard the blueprint like drawing were given to MIT professors. Tey mere not told that is was the great pryamid but the smaert guy all called it a early model of a nuclear reactor

Just thought I would add bit more ... I have had the privilege of traveling to Egypt in 1996 and 2003. The pyramids themselves are absolutely awesome but there are other things such as the the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut that are just as remarkable.

I went with my father and a seasoned tour group in 2003 (dear old dad had lots of money to blow) with our own Egyptologist ... Dr Mofead. Not only was he a really cool guy and multi lingual but he some very interesting insights.

Example, the tombs in the Valley of the Kings are truly remarkable, they look like they were cut with a laser beam ... perfectly smooth walls and an obvious knowledge of engineering unparalleled today.

The Temple of Hatshepsut appears to be from a distance something futuristic (we took a balloon ride at dawn) ...

Our guide on this trip Dr Mofead was a really cool guy and had his own opinions about all of the monuments and the pyramids. His take was that Egypt was the tail end of a much older civilization ... 10000 to 15000 years ago.

This makes sense, the engineering that it took to erect much less design these great structures is beyond our power. Everyone has their own opinion but you really have to go there and see for yourself how amazing it really is ...

I read something a long time ago in the Daily Mail (newspaper here in UK) which had an article on the Pyramids. Some Professor believed that the Egyptians had access to some kind of gold powder/dust which had strange properties; these properties basically allowed it to counter gravity and allow any objects imbued with it to levitate/float. He was also convinced that the Ark of the Covenant was the container for this miraculous powder and that was why the Ark was held in such high esteem and security.

Obviously there were a number of sources and reasons for all of this theory, if I can find the original article (it's a few yrs old) I'll post it up.

Awesome, I'd love to go see them for myself. I agree I don't know who or what created these amazing structures but I'm almost positive it wasn't the Egyptians as we know them today. The more I hear about these pyramids and the sphinx and all that the more I'm inclined to believe it was something else entirely.

That video of the sound waves levitating a stirofoam cup was not impressive, there is no sound or acoustic sound that can levitate a 2000 pound block... maybe, just maybe plastic. lol

Absolutely intriguing thread. I am just amazed at the feedback. It jives with what I have believed all along. A higher ancient power civilization the secrets of which we know not.
Sidenote: I found it very interesting we keyed on the museum of antiquities in Iraq in the days after invasion. Wonder what we found that was of so much importance?

Ok on topic: How did the Egyptians cut the rocks they used in the construction of the pyramids? They supposedly used stone on stone to cut the pink granite at the Aswan quarry, but this sounds far fetched to me.

Fascinating article FIFI. An astounding feat indeed. We have been visited. There is no way in my mind early humans could have accomplished this feat.

it is true that pyramids that followed the great pyramids of gyza have al collapsed, as if technology went backwards.

you would think that if the egyptions did build them that later pyramid structures would be even better but they werent most have crumbled

I thought the great pyramid was made up of somewhere between 1 and 4 million stones not 100,000. I did a few searches and everything i found was over 1 million. If the 1 mil+ is right then it makes it even more

I think the great pyramid was used as a device to expand consciousness, and also, possibly as a stargate. As explored in the youtube vids linked in that post. So the great pyramid of giza is a pyramidical shape to act as an energy antenna/tranducer and the internal construction mirrors that of part of the human brain. Once inside at the correct time you will be in the exact position to achieve some sort of alignment with fractal infinity. As above , so below. Expand or be destroyed.

There is evidence of a past very tall human race (8 - 9 feet tall) and that the archaeological evidence has been suppressed world-wide for some strange reason. There is references to these giant peoples in the bible and in ancient myths also. They died out because they were slow of thought - I guess our lot killed them off.

Yes I'll believe that seeing as how we're getting smaller as time goes on. But thats not quite giant enough to lift these stones or even be of a significant advantage beyond normal human capabilities to make this feat sound believable still.

I think most of us have read about the pyraminds and how they are connected to the stars, moon and sun.
The ancient egypts knew more more about this than we do today and they used this knowledge.
I have seen some the tombs and it`s astonishing how they have build them without proper tools, the walls are extremly plain...
All in all, the whole culture was very developed...and there were others too. Have you ever been to Malta? Ever seen the hypogeum there?

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the location of the pyramids and the significance of 19.5. In sacred geometry these things are huge and the pyramids follow sacred geometry. The star of David is also sacred geometry and if you took a 2D view of the earth the pyramids are on one of the points of that star(the points are all located at 19.5).

The bermuda triangle and the one over by japan, are also points at 19.5.
