This Hydraulic engineer worked out what some of the internal working of the great pyramid do., which was to generate a massive vibrating pulse aring from a massive hydraulic ram pump.

Some may find it as fascinating and profound as I did?

Although simple it adds huge complexity to the operation of the pyramid "machine" and clearly indicates by the sophistication and required calculations they would have had to have performed that

... the culture or civilization which built them were way in advanced of modern day.

If they were human they were a long lost and somehow disappeared or got wiped out race!

This thread has been delightful. I wish I could have taken Ed Leedskin by the ankles and shook him till he gave up the secrets he had. Unfair to keep that from humanity.
As far as the giants are concerned I believe they existed. Comingled with humanity and God washed them all out in Noahs flood. C'mon, you make a planet and beings don't turn your back on them until the only choice is to wash them all out. My .02.
Oh man, I think I just blasphemied. I'll be in the ninth circle for sure now.
Even the giants would be unable to construct these megaliths.

Do you have more info / images on the 8 sides reference for the pyramids?

Also, that Egyptian proverb that Everything Fears Time, but Time fears the Pyramids... it makes me think that maybe there is more meaning to that than we give credit. Time could refer to wormholes or black holes?

Time could fear the pyramids because everything else disappears with time, except for something this solid a mass and in the desert where the sands blow over, cover and protect before it can start to deteriorate. this is an interesting look at why the Pyramids last will last longer than everything (else) manmade.

I recommend Patrick Heron's book called The Nephilium and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse.

The Nephilium was a race of giants and is mentioned in the Book of Genesis. They were the offspring of the fallen angels (Lucifers/Satans cohorts) and the ordinary earth women. The fallen angels were hurled to earth with Satan and condemned to live there. They are purported to have had supernatural powers and could have built the earlier pyramids. Their offspring, the Nephilium, were just giants, I think, without supernatural powers.

A few things the article didn't mention which i found interesting in my studies of the pyramids is the following:

- the pyramids were covered with a smooth rock like a marble stone so when the sun shined on it they looked like giant mirrors. They would reflect the sunlight and could be seen from 100 miles away in the mountains of israel and were clearly visible from space. Those rocks were removed by the arabs at some point and used on the temples...so we see the old, worn, rock face of the pyramids...but back when they were built, they were shiny and bright. Very interesting.

-The pyramids run across the exact line of the equator, marking the center of the Earth.

-They were built with "balls" between the blocks, which is what scientists used to build modern sky scrapers and bridges. The balls prevent the stones from cracking with temperature and weather changes and allow them to move when they expand and contract and even to shift with earthquakes. We just started applying that technology to our structures in the 20th century!

-each block is cut to 1/100th of an inch leaving just enough room for the glue. Modern machines do not make perfect right angle cuts to that degree of an inch without slight error or imperfections. The pyramids have none, they are perfect.

-even crazier is the inside of the pyramid, it always stays a certain temperature (I forget the exact temp, something like 68 degrees) with no Air conditioning in a hot desert, it's still cool and comfortable in the pyramid. Also one of the chambers has a tiny hole that leads all the way to the outiside edge of the wall and at the exact winter solstace, the northern star, the brightest star in the sky lines up with that hole and illuminates the entire room.

The egyptians DID NOT build these structures. Somebody with a higher knowledge of our planet and solar system did.

Could be wrong (old man's memory) but I believe I read once that they discovered the blocks were actually quarried from bedrock right next to the pyramids and then the ramp used was buried in the resulting pit. Fairly practical idea that could clear up a few mysteries such as how did they transport hundreds of miles and where is the rubbish from the ramp?
I do agree that the head on the sphinx was a later alteration and that the whole affair probably does go back to 10,000 B.C. or earlier.
I also agree with those who hold that the pyramid was built in two stages several thousands of years apart. It therefore follows that no one particular pharaoh should be credited with building it. Someone built it (old man memory again) to about twenty layers of stone in height while another culture much later finished it.

It is a fact that a race of giants and men of super intelligence existed in the Old Testament days. You can find their reference throughout the Bible. Start with Genesis 6, and the "Sons of God" and their offspring called the Nephilim. They were angelic beings that were in fact given human form to instruct man how to live in his new environment.....they were corrupted by Satan as were the humans and created nephilim.......This is the reality and the Bible is real.......the story is coming to its fruition.

geez logic like that is just made up by people who are not properly vetted experts. The ramps were not made of stones. how do you think they hoisted all those obelisks? magic? seriously the ramps were made of dirt or sand. if you think that is not durable enough then go look at the great wall of china in some of the most inhospitable places and the sections are just made of mud. The simplest answer is always the best answer. People used to think they were built by salves which is also untrue thanks to new evidence so I hope this helps.

Problem is the ramp theory doesn't make any sense. The ramp itself would require more material then the actual pyramid. I find it hard to believe that someone who is able to create this marvelous technological wonder resorted to very inefficient ramp building to get the job done.

Please keep in mind the great pyramid's height is around 150 meters. Good luck building a ramp that high.

the bible tells story's of no less then 4 giants and very large bones have been found in the past i belive there was a human leg bone found in america somewhere i'll see if i can find a link for it but other large 'human' bones have been found

what i find bizzare about the dating of the pyramids was the boat pits found on two side's of the pyramid both 'boats' were unconstructed basicly left in the pits as a flat pack maybe to be constucted at a later date but wood is easyer to date then rock and both boats were found to be a couple of thousand years older then the pyramid itself

why place boats on two side of a pyramid thats wasnt going to be built for another couple of thousand years??????

It's all fine and well creating a new topic if people can bring new information to the topic, but people are just rehashing what's been brought up in the other 250 topics of the pyramids.

You're not getting my point. Topics like this which has very little new information gets discussed to death in one topic then another one opens. ATSer X puts his opinion in each of these topics. So I'm thinking I have 20 topics of pyramids with lots to read and I get 90% of each topic repeated in every topic.

I say if you have something to say about the pyramids look for one of the many topics available and check if what you want to post is already there. If not, add it. I personally don't have the time to go through bunches of topics of repeated info then I miss something new which is somewhere in the middle of topic # 18. I love discussing the pyramids, but I have nothing new to add so I don't add anything. If you want my opinion go fish through the other topics
