Well, you be the judge. To me it looks like a smooth rock on Sol 1087 and it definately didn't move for 23 martian days at least. It is definately an interesting looking rock, if nothing else.

That rock looks like a copy and paste job if you ask me lol, not a good one at that, got to thank the martians though, they keep hundreds of people in work, just to edit them from images. Finally, some 'illegal aliens' putting back into the system.

They look like eyes. The thing on the bottom right is the tail. Its an alien, Case closed. I'm not being sarcastic.

To be clear I accept that they are rocks unless someone has something to add. The most interesting thing about them is the way in which they have eroded. I only see rocks like that associated with running water or wave action on Earth. Still cool, but not a hiding hermit crab.

look at the links provided by ngchunter or something. This is just a rock in the background, but from our angle of perception it looks alien. Basically, its just our perception. The jokes on you...

If you look behind the bigger black rock that is hiding the "penis" in the original photo. You can see a several feet back 2 rocks one on top of the other that looks like the "penis"

I am pretty sure in the original shot it is these rocks just looking head on it looks like some toon hiding behind the big rock

It's just a rock, why do people keep wanting to see things that aren't there? If you look around earth you'll find some odd looking rocks, i swear i once saw one that looked exactly like a large ant. Legs and all, but it was just a rock, either that or a prop from a bad 80's horror film dumped in a forest.

The errant discus caught my attention as well. There are some very strange things associated with this planet.

I see...uhhh...martians with weapons firing at each other, frozen in time as "ROCKS" as their weapons turned each other to "ROCKS" at the same time.
You know....Weapons of Mass Destructions....OMG now we have to go to war with the martian terrorists.
