As far as I'm concerned, both you and BH are doing a great job figuring this out. I'm reading the posts and information with great interest.

Two questions, just out of curiosity:

1. Why do you think a certificate of birth printed on 2003 would prove anything regarding Obama's original birth certificate, and

2. Why do you hope this issue is left alone? Does it bother you that people are actually investigating Obama's past? What are you afraid they might find?

Reaching. I use photoshop to import scans and lots of people do, especially on Macs. This isn't a UFO debunking. Do you really think that someone who has served in the Illinois State Legislature, the US Senate and is running for President of the United States of America has faked birth records? Seriously, at least come up with something real if you must smear.

The two signatures are different. They are both Adobe, but the seond one was created on June 12!

The first one doesn't have a timestamp.

The image wasn't resized, just stretched a bit. When images are resized with Photoshop or Fireworks, it retains the resolution (no dithering). Dithering occurs when the image is streched beyond the orignal size.

Why on Earth would you have to bring it into Photoshop again anyway when you could just copy the one from the BarackObama.com site.

Why won't this "American Hero" of yours support the G.I. Bill? Why was he once against torture and is now supporting Bush's extraordinary rendition and Guantanamo? Only today, he exclaimed how tragic it was that the Supreme Court ruled that detainees will get habeus corpus rights.

whether or not this is Obama's Birth certificate is a smoke screen to the issue
He must have a US citizen ship period to continue forward in his career- if the entire Democratic party can not find the real certificate the country's going to hell.
the problem in lies in possible split allegiances to Country/Religion/Citizenry
will he stand by his majority life experience as a Muslim over the majority US Judeo-Christian Social structure? Will Obama lean toward's an Africa over a stronger West and NorthAmerican-European-Japanese-Korean Allegiance (to pick major economic partners anyway just for examples sake) will Obama not recognize the Country and the Mother whom raised him.?
It is difficult for any one person to find their own identity when you are split down the middle by race and religion. does he deny his mother? no he did not bring her up as a white lady anymore.
just like Obama stated he did not want to 'ingratiate himself toward whites' to paraphrase, he also could not alienate himself too Black people he is in the middle. It is a difficult place for someone to be and continue.
it is apparent he has palyed the cards well and dances on both sides well.
His family ties to another country is what bothers me- along his wife whispering in his ear...
Many of us are children or grandchildren of immigrants yet our parents and families stayed in the country and this became our land and the one to swear by and protect-and all citizens there in
now Obama has immediate family elswhere and well he will look out for them before the guy in Chesterton, Indiana or Ames Iowa....
why because its family and we are all pulled that way.
I can not vote for some one unless as President the number one concern is not Aid to Africa, or Aid to some sunken island. but one to bring this country to the Might and Wonder that it has and has held the world in Awe of.
If Barack Obama can do this i would be behind him-
but I don't think he can or would, America First as President- then the world we need it.
I haven't decided on a vote yet, but he is not on the winning side at the moment.

LOL. Where is Senator McCain's original Birth Certificate! I demand to know! We all know he can't produce one because he was born on the planet klatuu and is a reptilian. We know since he has reptilian heritage, he will undoubtedly sway the world toward the reptilian agenda over Western European relations.
