Hi De Hi,
.

its been intimated (or said) a number of times that im not really welcome here...

i just want to tell you my perspective. Then you can do what you want with it.

my aim is true.

I'm a member who happens to be famous..
I wanted people to know about AtS......
Same as ANYBODY else here...

I have taken no money from Ats and I NEVER will...
Im doing all this for free....and i have no problem with that what so ever...

if you find my presance to be an embarresment to the site...
i understand where your coming from....
i can be A knob head most of the time...

Now,rightly or wrongly i wanted people to come here and read what ive been reading
for the last two and a half years...

if you were in my position would you?
i just happen to be 'in that position' and im trying to do what i think is right....
nothing more nothing less...

I have nothing to gain except ridicule....and i dont give a monkey's brass cheeks

I just want to help go get this info "OUT THERE''

By the way,ATS being represented by william morris because of me is a complete fabrication...they worked with them before we even met..

i get on reallly well with the gang and im looking forward to working with them again...

please excuse grammer and spelling ive got ear infection
and Im all over the place...

Chris on a bike

why would people have problem with you posting here? you have to ignore those people that make you feel unwelcome

Excuse me, can someone just tell me, why there isnt a log in space in the main page itself, to come to log in, I have to click either of the icons in the top or open a thread in the main page, and then click log in and then type the name and password, why not just add the log in part in the main page itself, in one of the corners.

It's sort of like knowing which door to knock on and what to say when you are trying to get into a real underground club. Well, that and the home page has a serious case of content overload.

Use Opera, the "magic wand" option is awesome, unless of course you share a computer with other people.

Or FireFox, it has a password manager also. (Once again, don't use the password manager if you share the computer.)

Cheers, Fox.

i have a question i'd like to ask with all due respect, and hope for an honest answer.

what if a member found some ..ahh..shall we say "juicy, verifiable, truthful dirt" on one of ATS's affiliates?

not ATS itself directly, but one of the companies ATS uses or that uses ATS.

would the thread/post get either deleted, closed, removed etc?
would the member get the *snip* end of the ban stick or silenced, muted, restricted etc?

i have a very interesting thread id like to share but i would need authors permission, which im sure he would be happy to give but its kinda pointless if the thread or my acc is going to end up in the # pile because its critical of an ATS affiliate.

We don't currently have any "affiliates" to speak of, other than our advertising sales arrangement with Media Mayhem.

Who are you considering to be our "affiliate?"

A new & improved site home page is in the works (sneak peak)

However, as to the log-in, there are certain things we feel are important to remind members of each time they log in to ATS. Therefore, it's better to have a dedicated log-in page.

Thankyou very much for the reply.

ATS, IMHO, really needs this change too enhance navigation, it has been a thorn in my side (personaly) for quite awhile.

This new format, (that you gave us a sneek peak into) seems too be in a direction that will be for the betterment of ATS and the community.

Thanks!

Cheers, Fox.

I didn't remove it, but upon closer inspection, the source appears to be a vile hoax.

..ATS ISSUES..

the thread wasn't deleted, it was closed at the request of the original poster.

What some of y'all don't understand is that this is a site dedicated to alternative news, conspiracy theories, aliens, ufos etc.

As riley said, try perusing the boards. There are topics for everyone here.

I requested the post to be removed (thankyou Crakeur for all your help you have been a star)
purely and simply because there are some people who were very unhappy I had started the thread and let me know in uncertain terms....I am not here to cause trouble or discomfort to anyone so I felt for all concerned it would be better for the post to be removed...hence it has been....
and yes too right! there are amazing topics here on ATS,instead of persuing a certain person here
try actually reading some of the topics here, you might learn something..I have...

As I also thought it was deleted..

Even with special him/her self requesting the thread to be removed, I find it ridiculous that there (obviously) is no 'space' for threats like special started.

What is really with the 'openminds' of members (and maybe aswell moderators? no offence!), if you find some opinion in a thread 's.u.c.k.s' don't waste your time by posting in it..!

In this 'alternative' forum there is plenty of 'space' for everyone, if not on ATS for sure at BTS, isn't there..?

To all people out there spend your energy positive and let others be in their worth for their opinions.

Grins.. However, do be carefull that your posts are on topic

The ATS Issues Thread..

My issue is how the whole thead became after the post of chrisonabike. No offence to chrisonabike as I find his reaction on how he experienced this forum more then sincere as in his point of view it's obviously an ATS issue..

What I really like though is the discussion thats now going on on 'what is off topic and what is not'..

After several (light) complaints from me here and there to people with more or less influence on this website, I finally find an 'open' discussion on what is personally my MAIN ATS ISSUE:

WHERE IS THE FREEDOM OF MIND AND SPEACH AND WHY AND WHOM BECAUSE OF MODERATOR 'RIGHTS' CAN DECIDE WHAT IS OFF TOPIC WITHIN CERTAIN TOPICS AND WHAT IS NOT..

Some say now this 'serious' issue thread became a soap opera, within someways I agree.

However, I find that some (yes just some!) moderators are 'miss using' their moderator power on deleting off topic thread because of a lack of knowledge or feeling for the discussions going on.

I find it very very ignorant how the 'regime' that ATS uses to handle 'off topic' posts. Ignorant, which is a shame for the slogan:

Deny Ignorance..

Inbetween the soap opera how am I supposed to read the 'real issues' people experience, like me now about the 'regime' for off topic posts..?

And then, chrisonabike like many others might have said before me: get well soon, earinfection is something terrible!

Love, Peace and Soul on a Roll..!

I use opera, but I am very concerned about the security of browsers, so I always type the passwords manually, because, better safe than sorry.

well maybe "affiliate" is a minor technicality in my figure of speech, but i think you know what i mean in general.

im talking about any of the companies that use ats or ats uses in one form or another, but is not actually ATS itself.
exactly as i mentioned in my previous post which i thought was pretty clear.

its worrying that my post was pretty clear yet you avoided my question and only partially quoted me, when the above snippet makes it pretty clear what i meant.

if these companies are above reproach because ATS wishes to protect its own or the other companies integrity then these are clearly in conflict of what ATS is about.

i re-post this quote again IN ITS ENTIRITY just to make sure my question is crystal clear.

Certainly, we'd like to know if there are issues we're unaware of. We've suspended business with at least four providers of advertising in the past because of unsavory discoveries.

Keep in mind that is possible to discover "dirt" (relatively speaking) on just about anyone or anything.
Given the wonders of the Internet, sometimes the "dirt" isn't really what it seems.
