The ATS Issues Thread

I didnt want to start a whole new thread to just ask a question about the GREY background I am seeing on all the threads???

Are we going to go back to the black background?

My eyes are not use to this light grey background.. And I hope you will all go back to black.

Or any information on why ATS is like this today?

When I first logged in I had the normal background..
Then all of a sudden, things turn light grey...??

On the "tab bar" at the top, and on the far left of each page there is a tab marked "go dark," please click it.

Edit.. couldnt find it at first then I found it! Tab bar top left..
Next to where it says Premium video/gear/podcasts/Tinwiki/ Ect ect!!

Ahhh so much better on the eyes here!!! Once you go dark!! You never go back!!! hehehe

I was in a forum where the OP of the below link posted their own thread.

I went to post a quote, and a response, and I received the following error

" Sorry, you are not permitted to view this forum " error.

If Im not allowed to view it, then maybe something needs to be adjusted in posting a link to it.

Probably it was the Debate Forum, which we non-fighters are allowed to see, but not post in.

A forum where people are actually allowed to speak what they think? I can't read a thread anywhere now that doesn't have a "REMOVED POST" somewhere throughout.

The only rules that should be enforced are the rights to privacy and keeping lengthy threads related to the issue being discussed. Anything else is harmful to the open discussion of free-thinkers.

I believe a big part is 2 be played by the ATS management, site administrators and site moderators.

The fact that chrisonabike is also known as RW should not be of any relevance in any of his threads and posts. I looked through a lot of threads and not in one of those the question was asked whether that person was under the influence when seeing the sightings they report.
It’s great that RW was able to get more attention to the subject and the site, but I presume the larger part of the ATS members know that 99% of what we think 2 know about RW is an image build by his record company and the media. Don’t get me wrong, I have come to known RW as a great artist and outstanding professional - if not for his music I wouldn’t be whistling through traffic jam (Mr. Bojangles) or my 3 year old would not be singing “karma killer”. I just believe that the majority of us understand that the man behind chrisonabike is much more than merely RW it’s the man Robert Peter Williams. Who has every right to the same curtsey and treatment as all the other members of ATS.

I believe RW has played his part and made the site and the subject more known. Time will learn if the members he brought to the site will stay here and have really gained an interest in the subject.
It’s high time for “chrisonabike” to be valued again for the content and views he brings to the forum on the account of who he is (being the man Robert Peter Williams) and not what he is (the famous rebellion pop star).

It’s up to ATS management and contributors to make sure the posts on this website are back on topic. To me it’s starting to feel a bit like the site and posts are exploiting him for what he is and how that can aid or damage the site’s cause, rather than doing what we do with every member on this site, respect each other and their opinion and be grateful that they want to help us in our quest against ignorance.

There are many interesting subjects on ATS to choose from Kimba. Perhaps you would feel less unwelcome if you actually participated in the community itself and not just threads where certain members post. Right now it seems like you have no interest ATS yet are already having a go at admin over this? They've been pretty fair with you so far.. actually join in other discussions.. you might enjoy yourself.

What some of y'all don't understand is that this is a site dedicated to alternative news, conspiracy theories, aliens, ufos etc.

As riley said, try perusing the boards. There are topics for everyone here.

I requested the post to be removed (thankyou Crakeur for all your help you have been a star)
purely and simply because there are some people who were very unhappy I had started the thread and let me know in uncertain terms....I am not here to cause trouble or discomfort to anyone so I felt for all concerned it would be better for the post to be removed...hence it has been....
and yes too right! there are amazing topics here on ATS,instead of persuing a certain person here try actually reading some of the topics here,you might learn something..I have...
