ATS in Langley VA? That's laughable. Everyone knows that ATS headquarters is in a secret volcano lair hidden deep in the Andes Mountains carved to look like Skeptic Overlord!

Could we put a stop to the google logo threads?

Could you please stop the auto-playing of the embedded sounds?

It's one of the most useless and annoying ATS features

Absolutely not. Those little sounds are my friends, they replace the voices I used to hear and I like them much better.

We have no "embedded sounds" on ATS, it isn't a "feature". You've lost me on this one mate.

(Correct me if I'm wrong but) He's referring to sound clips (MP3s) uploaded to ATS media. If you embed such a clip in a thread, the clip automatically starts when you open the page. Some folks actually think they're hearing voices...

Perhaps you need an audio/visual aid to show the annoyance of 'autoplay'... But I'm not sure anything can be done about it....

LOL sometimes I'll be surfing them late at night/Early morning and forget my speakers are on and they blare out. Quite annoying sometimes.

Is there a way to see who posts the most threads in a certain forum? I am looking for someone to ask a question in a certain forum but I want it to be someone who is pretty familiar with the forum.

Not that I'm aware of. You could however ask that forum's FSME (Forum Subject Matter Expert) - they are typically knowledgeable in that field, as their title would indicate. There is usually a thread stickied at the top of the forum by the FSME. If you can't find out who it is, you can always ask a staff member who the FSME for particular forum is.

How about an ATS "mascot"?

We got a great logo(s), great motto but nobody to wave the banner except invisible faces.

A competition for character art, name etc could find a solution.

Great for the promotional material and would certainly help sell it and having a friendly mascot around would be such fun too. A spy, an alien, a big brother, who knows.

What d'ya think peeps?
