the MATS home page looks like this.

Hit refresh. It looks like your browser is not using the updated style sheet.

browsershots.org...
I've used it with some success in the past. Although I know you have plenty of testers of here with multiple platforms.

(13) oh, and make sure "interestedalways" can't see their U2U's in Firefox -- (please)

As if there's nothing better for me to do than to ensure one member has difficulty with seeing their site U2U's, but only on one browser.

(amazing)

I'm very sorry that the reality of the situation is that I never once thought about anything at all related to you or your account status here on ATS until I saw your posts here in the ATS Issue thread.

I attempted to explain the situation related to the more-intense security on our member's private messages in very clear and direct language, expressed in a patient and non-confrontational manner. However, it's obvious that you wish to read a confrontational tone into my responses, and somehow believe I have the time or inclination to single you out for a special level of mischievous antics... which simply is not true.

The issue is that, in some browsers, when using Flash, the attributes that define layers are ignored and Flash is always on "top."

I'm working on a solution, but it's only happening on the home page.

I don't know if you noticed that it happens in all the browsers I tested in Windows Vista (Opera, IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome).

Well if I increase the resolution it goes away but my Female unit doesn't like having her desktop at such resolution.

The 'FAQ' button is broken. Sorry if it's been mentioned before. I clicked by accident and got sent to a page saying the Handbook page doesn't exist.

Also, in all the Mysterious (Green) forums, the colors are such that the page numbers of the board are unreadable except for "1" or whichever page you are on. So it appears that there is only one page of threads.

We now have brand new tutorial videos for those in need... The old FAQ was so out of date it's better that it be gonzo while we work up the new vids.

If anyone could answer my question a few pages back.....
Thanks to whomever has the time and knowledge to answer me!
Again, thanks!

How come even if I do not log out, after a month or two my password will no longer work? Only when I email ATS and have someone personally email me a new password can I ever get on again.

Seems like if one doesnt have much time, the last thing they need is
having to respond to emails about passwords.
Maybe if I knew what to do to help mitigate the problem,
I could save ATS a little more time every month!
Thanks again for any suggestions anyone can offer.

I don't have a clue... I've had the same password for years and never had a problem.

Check your cookies, make sure they are enabled. Make sure your browser recognizes ATS a "trusted site". That's all I can think of.

Edit to add, cookies expire every thirty days, if you've forgotten your password after thirty days you'll need a new one to log back in. Write it down.

Try using the "wmode" parameter with the "opaque" value in the Flash animation parameters.

I tried it in Opera (Opera lets us change the page code and see the results) and it worked.

Poor FAQ, after all these years of good work was just dumped in favour of some Flash(y) videos.

I think the FAQ should be kept working, but that is probably because I hate videos.

Sometimes a text reference is good, but whatever haha. Didn't know if the link was supposed to bring you to an index of the videos or something.

Jkrog- Thank you!

OK this is not a question but a heads up ....
I bring this up in this thread for I know, no other site that uses Friend/Foe

When I read the boards I leave my pointer some where usually right above the recent post button and scroll the page down with the wheel of my track ball. Move my pointer to next page leave it over recent posts. ( repeat )

Now Tonight I am reading the board and something happened that was interesting. I moved to the next page and poof I have a few friends, and a few foes.

So I started wondering what happened. I started wondering if some how I might be clicking friend button but I know I didn't.

It's interclue, I looked at where I usually keep my pointer and what do you know a straight line down is the friend foe area to where ....yup if it hovers over the button long enough you made a new friend or foe.

So its just a heads up to people that use this. I picked up 4 new friends tonight buy this happening. ( must remember to move pointer to the side )
I don't have any one in my foe list now since I moved them to friends , I'm not an ignore/foe clicker.

A couple of weeks ago, I got a U2U indicating someone I didn't know had added me as "foe". I sent them a polite email and they sent a polite reply indicating that it had been an accidental click, and they'd since removed it.

I would guess this happens frequently, and I know I've done the same. It's why I check my "foe" list every so often, as I've never added anyone as "respected foe" and don't anticipate doing so.
