Its not you I hate nor anyone in particular. What ALL people have to understand is that for the most part, people think slavery is over and that it DID NOT have any long lasting implications. Well, I have to inform that it did and it does! When I hear people calling out racism and saying the African needs to stop blaming for this and that - I say why? We still work, we still pay taxes and contribute HEAVILY to society. Yet, the media wants to portray and image and for the most part it works, that we are all savages and we take drugs and sell them and gang bang, etc... It's all garbage. And to hear it from people who aren't in a position of promenence lets me further know the brain washing works. I don't live in a fantasy - when I went to church and believed in god, I did live in fantasy. But, I have children and I need to live in reality so I stepped away from god/jesus which was another tool of enslavement and I just deal with today. my children are well grounded, very smart , honor roll, etc... very active in sports, but i don't let them for one second believe that this is a fair system, that things that happen JUST HAPPEN because they don't. Any in most arenas, they are still considered the "N" word by most of society. I won't allow them to believe what's in the history books and what's shown to them on the tube. See it for what it is. I know this gov has trashed many lives and generations - if I was not sympathetic, my apologies. But instead of being sympathetic towards the African, society tells us to stop begging and get over the torture and abuse. Sorry bud, doesn't work like that. Yes of course and in fact I acknowledged this in a previous post. Slavery still exists all over the world and in many countries.
Obviously slavery had an adverse effect on the population of African Americans as in many other countries. My point of contention is that yes it was a horrible thing and yes racism in America still exists but lets stop looking back and start looking forward. Lets change todays attitudes as opposed to dwelling on the past, aside from teaching and learning from the mistakes of the past.

Most people have started taking the media with a grain of salt. We know the media is biased in many ways and at times shows the following:
Black people are violent criminals
White people are either serial killers or child molesters
Mexicans are lazy and sneaky
All orientals know martial arts
etc...
But it's our responsibility to filter and understand what's going on around us regardless of what the media shows us.

I won't allow them to believe what's in the history books and what's shown to them on the tube.

The history I was taught never denied or excused slavery and it wasn't just mentioned in passing. My history teachers always showed us the good and bad and tried to teach us that we need to learn the bad so we don't repeat our past mistakes.

I honestly believe nobody should receive reperations. A check isn't going to erase slavery.

What needs to happen is that the government should do everything it can to make sure everyone is on an equal footing and nobody is left behind, held back or pushed down by anyone. That's how to begin REAL, MEASURABLE change.

First off Al Sharpton himself is racist. Look at the Duke Lacross rape case, All he saw was a black girl and 3 or 4 white guys who she accused of raping her, He didnt even have to hear any sides to the story he took the black girls side,and he said bad things about the white guys from the begining of the case, well if you dont know the white guys were found innosent. Now I 100% guarantee you that if the guy punched was black and everybody else was white, that would be racist. You see in racist Als world its impossible for black people to be racist, the white man is evil and always guilty.

It is surely impossible for an African to be racist. look up the definition in the euro dictionary. its why the kkk and aryan brotherhood remain successful, they have the power, money and representation to impose their will on people whether through violence, laws or otherwise. Racism is not a punch, its how certain groups of people are forced to live - sub par eduction, food, housing, over priced EVERYTHING and then told not to speak about it, stop crying, etc...

I don't have a friend who hates euro, mex, jap, etc... I don't know any racists. Um, if you were familiar with the case, you would know he IS guilty. Check out the Wikipedia info about the case and you'll see quite a lot of supressed evidence about the case that if used by a competent attorney, would have gotten him life.
