You know you bring up a valid point!

I'm sure others just skipped over your post wihout giving a second thought. However, you have peaked my interest and I was compelled to respond to you.

If an advanced species is actually monitoring earth along with its inhabitants, It wouldn't be far fetched to assume they have the technology to detect small electronics. On the same note, if they are able to do this, why not shut them down rendering them useless even if we were able to take a picture?

That seems very logical to me.

Way to use your brain......Amazing

We are slowly being conditioned....after a while we won't even look up anymore when an UFo is flying to its destination.

I would be much more interested in this event if it did not had only one source.

People have been saying that the witnesses testimony is enough (and I think it is), but we are not hearing it directly from any witness, we are reading in just one source that some unidentified people saw something.

There is no need for thinking that the witnesses are lying, it is enough that the person who wrote the article invented all of it, including the witnesses.

How many of us here know that Brian Vike guy? Is he a know UFO investigator? Is he reliable? Why would people from California contact a UFO researcher from Canada? Maybe he is famous, I don't know, but he is the only source available for this story.

PS:
There is no way of knowing if there have been more sightings of UFOs lately, what we have seen is (apparently) more reports, that does not mean that there are more sightings, less things to publish is a good reason for the media to publish stories that would go unpublished in normal conditions.

Edit: I forgot a possibility, there may be someone using Brian Vike as the target of a joke, in that way he may be thinking that he is getting real reports of witnesses and is only being fed lies.

That is why is very difficult to judge something with only one source.

I'll ask around the area to see if anyone seen anything that night. Somehow I think they'll tell me about some other weird stuff they saw another time though. Seriously guys, there is way too many unmarked military-type air craft floating around here.

Speaking of which, I took some video last night of the helicopters that have been flying over a lot. Interesting enough, during the second one, it seemed to slow up right in front of me. Then the 3rd video was moments later as it flew right over my head. Notice the "beeping" in the video, that was not from me and I did not audibly hear it while recording. I just viewed these vids myself this morning and noticed the noise while playing it back.

Dude!

Way to be the man!!!!

I am so happy to see people like you actually DOING SOMETHING!!!!!!

It is refreshing to see an active person in pursuit of the truth, not just someone sitting behind their computer screen nay saying.

I applaud your efforts

If I were a mod I would give you 1000 points just for being super cool!

I live in Santa Ana and have been keeping an eye on the sky lately. My porch looks out at the air traffic over John Wayne airport, so probably not a good spot to catch a UFO! I haven't bothered to check for chemtrails, figuring the airport would interfere, but maybe I should take a second look. However, I have seen quite a few interesting helicopters. The one you posted looked similar to something I saw the other day (come to think of it, might have been the 28th or 29th.) It looked "long and skinny" compared to the 'copters one usually sees, and seemed to have something almost hanging from the front end - it reminded me of an insect flying around with its prey dangling from its mouth.

I have heard of other accounts from the south with helicopters with "things out in front of them" all the way out to Long Beach. Unfortunately my view is mainly of the sky east, north, west, my view to the south is somewhat obstructed and not easily viewed all the time. I saw two one day circling over my neighborhood and the one across the street with this "ray gun" looking sensors of some sort. I don't have experience with some of these attachments but I drew a sketch of it I could scan, but I've been trying to get a pic. That has been a huge increase in single prop planes too.

Dude, seriously. I don't think it is much of anything that you recorded, but man, YOU RECORDED! Way to go. So now can you tell me why you think the helo's are there? any ideas? -jason

Also, I haven't researched chem trails, but man, there are alot here today. I can post a photo if someone wants me to.

So I don't know if you can tell in these photos, but NONE of these are clouds. They are all dissapating chem trails.

Speculation causes lies and I would hate to start any disinformation. I cannot presume to know what's going on right now. I have "gut feelings" but those only amount to so much. I am keeping my cams pointed up, and I have been getting "traffic" all day. I even just now took pictures of the indigenous birds and debris that can occasionally be seen here just to paint of a better picture of the scene through my observations. Which by the way, is difficult to get birds and debris in flight too I might add

If people care, I'll keep posting, if not here, maybe in the other threads I started too.

I'm not saying I think this is anything. I'm not even looking to get an answer, as there's nothing to answer really. I just wanted to put a niggling question out there for everyone to ponder in their own mind.

There's a rape every few minutes in North America. Now the law of averages said that some of these women carried cell phones. How come there are so few pictures for the police to use that show the rapist?

There's a car jacking every day, but few pictures out there. There's a pizza delivery guy getting mugged for his cash as we speak, most likely, but I'll bet those pictures don't exist either. There's a mugging in Times Square every hour of the night, but there are no pictures.

The "no pictures or it didn't happen" argument is foolishness. A lot of life happens without pictures, even in this day and age.

And all of these nut cases would be able to convince a jury that something took place, if that something was anything else but a UFO. Because we have been taught that UFOs are a sign of lying or being crazy or being mistaken, there is an un-naturally high standard of proof demanded.

Frankly, these demands wear thin. This is especially true when one considers that no matter what the picture shows, someone will say it's faked. It all boils down to the fact that for some people there is no proof that is acceptable. It is the last resort of certain minds to say that no matter what is brought forth, they will cling to those old values out of fear, cloaking them in the most scientific and logical of garb.

NO. I have no idea what these reports mean. But I find it hard to logically think that so many of my fellow humans have gone mad or are the perpetrators of hoaxes. Whatever is being seen, the sheer number of reports tell us that there is some truth to all of this.

Put your head under the quilt if that makes the world seem a safer place, whistle in the dark if you cannot face the unknown, but please stop acting so self assured as to cast aspersions on people without anything more than small minds unable to face reality. When you cannot admit that there are unknown things in the universe you have reached that point where your mind has found it's limit.

I live in Orange County and at the time all this was happening I was having dinner with my parents at their house. Too bad I missed it! I have been skywatching almost nightly for about two years now and saw something almost identical to this event on March 26, 2006. I managed to get two pics standing right in my own backyard, but never reported the incident to anyone. It is indeed odd that the media is silent on this. I'm going to check with our local mufon chapter to see if they are looking into it.

I don't have cell phone either, but my friends do and we have come to recognize that (we do sound recording too so we have to watch out for it), but the one on the vid was a new one to me too. Unless that's just how that kind of interference sounds when it's heard so cleanly or something.

A lot of traffic today, it's been hard to get anything done other then take pics. Here's one sample of the types flying around over head today.

Could be...
If it was a signal coming from the chopper then I'm sure the frequency would definitely differ from that of, say a cell phone, so in turn it would make sense to me that it would sound a bit different if picked up
Personally i always think it's a bit disconcerting when there is a chopper hawking above anyway
Usually I watch them fly around LA like a grid when I go camping... gives me the willies
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!!!

Need people from CALI!!!!

Honestly, we live in the area of Tustin Ranch, Orange County, CA. On or around 6-7ish at night we were headed NE on a city street. From the passenger side of our car I observed heading due East at a high rate of speed, what appeared to be nothing more than a VERY bright meteorite entering the atmosphere.

The duration was no more than 2-3 seconds, blue in color, and proceeded to "break apart" as most do. My first thought was that of the "out of control" satelite, but remembered it was'nt (or hasn't yet) re-entered our atmosphere.

As one of three witnesses I can tell you that at NO time did it ever "stop" and "hover", which is probably why no local media stations mentioned it, or no person(s) had caught a picture of it.

Meteorite. Sorry to debunk that one. Nuff' said

Hmmmm ok so maybe the choppers are trying to locate any debris that may have fallen to earth
That could explain sensors beacons or cameras on the front of them
