You say nothing has changed?

Ok here is my input

If you were in 1940 and you saw a UFO or anything strange in the sky, you would be laughed at and possibly thrown into an insane asylum.

Today, people are much more excepting and believing in this sort of thing.

Yes you are going to get laughed at, but at least there are millions of others that can share your belief system.

You say nothing has changed......I say everything has changed, included is the mindset of billions of people around the world.

Change is slow, But it is there if you look.

Look at the date?

Could it have had something to do with the asteroid that was supposed to pass close to the Earth on January 28-29th? Could pieces have flown off of it causeing some fireballs or something similar????

Just a thought.

LOL

thats one freaky rock from space!

Come on, you didn't actually read the article did you? Be honest

There is no way this has any natural reason behind it.

How can anything natural do the things described?

My take on this:

If many people are coming forward, then why would many people who do not know each other or share the same values ALL lie? Yes we have liers, thieves, criminals, infidelity, dishonesty etc., but not everyone lies.
We have some honest people who came forward, and I will gauruntee that more people will come forward. Some people probably did not want to come forward because the people who witness UFO's sometimes get ridiculed.

We have had the Arizona incident, the Stephenville, Mexico, Italy, California, and the list continues. What skeptics say is that these people are not analyzing the objects correctly. Well, it is relivently easly to tell the difference between an orb and a ariplane, a blimp, and jets.

I say instead of investing our money in useless projects that we will never even see of or hear of, why not set up better technology to deal with matters such as these?

This is spooky.

The thread posted in this thread earlier was dated 1-27-2005, with the sighting around 5:40 1-26-2005. Very similar sighting to what was reported in this thread about the 1-26-2008 sighting.

How are people seeing such a similar UFO exactly 3 years apart, at around the same exact time? Either the date of the article that this thread was created for is wrong, or this UFO has come back 3 years after it's first sighting.

Could the article about the 1-26-2008 sighting be a screw-up, and actually be talking about the 1-26-2005 sighting sighted by two members of ATS (posted in Alien forum)?

Good catch Double Eights,

You bring up a very good point and it should be something to look into a little more. It would be great if we could get more feed back from witnesses from both sightings.

By the way Double Eights is talking about the sighting on this old thread UFO over Sacramento,CA compared to the sighting on this new thread Just saw a UFO over Sacramento...

yeah, the new thread was from the 30th of January, 2008, making the sightings only a few days apart.

I must say that I also find it incredibly odd that with a sighting of such magnitude with so many eyewhitnesses, that no one has so much as a blurry cell phone picture to share with the masses.

I am also puzzled as to why an event such as the Stephenville sighting can get coverage on all media outlets, but something like this doesnt even get a mention. Maybe the media thinks that too much UFO coverage would actaully empower the masses to demand an explanation.

I feel like this is some sort of slow release of info to the public. First start off slow, giving them something to jog the mind, and over time ramp up the efforts to scare the bejeezus out of the masses. Only then can the MAN exert his full power of fear to the public and aid in removing the rest of our freedoms.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for pics or vids.

Great find!

Or perhaps none available SO FAR for your kind perusal (or mine) .

The texas incident had a similar response "where are the pics", "pics or it didnt happen". Just wait and see, surely someone got something. It just takes time for these things to fully reveal themselves. Not everyone is an ATS memmber ready to upload pics to ATS the moment they see a UFO.

Actually, I'm talking about this..

www.americanchronicle.com...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Notice how similar the stories are, and the times that the people have claimed to see the UFO. Now check the year in which both stories were written. One in 2005, one in 2008.

Fishy if I do say so myself.

Even if there were crystal clear photo's there are those that would parrot the debunker's mantra, too blurry, Kite, swamp gas, balloon, lens flare, insect close to the lens, smudge on the lens, etc.

People have been sent to the gas chamber and executed on eyewitness accounts!

I'm actually kinda glad to see no pic's yet.

If there were pic's then any would-be debunker would have their favorite debunking platform (any media at all).

With this story, we only have the word of others to go by. No one can say, it looks like a balloon, and completely disregard any eyewitness testimony.

So its good there are no pics yet, cause when or if they do show up the people that believe are already going to see the picture for what it is, a picture.

Hey Everyone, I'm in Anaheim close to Disneyland and there has been A LOT of odd stuff going on here progressing from at least 2 years back. I started a thread on the black helicopters in the area HERE. No pics of them "blackies" yet, but I'm trying. It really is hard to get pictures of things in the air for those who wonder "how come with all the cameras why can't anyone get a good pic etc...", because it's hard. I do have quality equipment and the know-how too, it's not easy. I did get a couple of good ones of the commercial-looking helicopters and double propeller jobs too. Below is a couple of pictures of one(from the 29th):

There has also been an extraordinary amount of chem trails in the area, including black ones. I took some pictures of them the 30th and posted them in this thread HERE

I also got a picture of an unidentifiable triangle(or bug/toy as some say) in one of those pictures. I did not see anything at the time and was just taking some pictures of the chem trail rainbow and saw it later upon reviewing the shots. I posted the pictures HERE

I've been sick or I would have been outside during those days probably with my camera too...oh well, the way things are getting around here it may not be too hard to catch something "odd" anyways.

Great point man!

Has anyone actually tried to take a picture of a distant object in the sky?

I have with my camera phone of a helicopter in the sky about 30 yards away, and the picture came out like crap! You couldn't even tell what the object was, and that was at 30 yards.

Great point!

Wait for it.

Investigation by MUFON and others will take some time. Photo, video and accounts by people of standing will likely emerge. It has taken weeks for the Texas investigation and they are just now getting video and pictures worth investigators time.

I will echo previous sentiment that everyone is in fact not on ATS, knows how to use their cameras, deal with on-line graphics and media or can post.

Also, reality does not support instant gratification. That is a dysfunction of media over-programing and behavioral modification for consumerist-based corporate profit planning. Slow it down so it is not all a blur.

Let it cook, or all you will get is half-baked posts.

I live in Orange County and I do not remember what I was doing on the 26th but I do not remember anything unusual and I usually look out my window before I go to sleep.... This sucks I've always wanted to witness a UFO and now I had my chance and I blew it
From now on I'll have my camera ready and I'll be watching out more closely

I agree with shakesbeers that there has been a lot of heli activity around here within the last year which may or probably doesnt have anything to do with this UFO and also a ton of chemtrails.....
