Good thing you have an open mind about these things. So pictures are the only acceptable evidence now days?

What about peoples word? What about the word of multiple people?

And before you say it, yes pictures lie also.

I guess you would have to see it with your own eyes to believe it.
Then again who would believe your word if you did see something without a camera present?

Even if you took a picture why should anyone believe you?

Better yet why even share experiences with each other? Its pointless because we are all lier's and its all bull crap anyway.

Maybe the lack of media coverage is due to the lack of photos. Im really surprised in this day and age that there wasnt one person who managed to get a picture.

With that said. Is there really an increase in "activity" or are there more people trying to seek their 15 min of fame (the YouTube vids come to mind)? Or more people who think every little unknown light/object is a UFO....even if its something explainable.

It now seems to be more "acceptable" in many circles - including the media - to say "I saw a UFO" w/out being labeled a nutjob.

I say this as I throw a mini fit that I never see anything. LOL

If you had one picture and one eyewitness, I wouldn't have even posted this.

Multiple eyewitnesses and no photos doesn't mean this is bunk, we just have to wait and see if anyone comes forward with any media.

Wow
I'm getting exited.

This is much closer to home than it normally is for me.

Unfortunately not close enough, this was all in Southern California.......I live in Northern California.

But its ok, Because I know that this is just the beginning. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will all have are chance to see wonderful things. I will be patient and wait until they come my way. We live in some really exiting times.

people get confused by what they see, and in a mass setting, they tend to agree with the general consensus. I am sorry, but I am more willing to believe a single person over a group of people.

Did I say this is bunk? No, I didnt.

I just said that I cant believe nobody has gotten a picture....and that, that is probably why the media isnt picking it up. And I was tossing some ideas out there.

I have no idea if its real or not. Nobody does.

Wow more and more sightings by mass amount of people. I believe there is a species wanting to make contact but probably knows what our government will want to do with them. Maybe they figure if enough of us see them in the sky we'll ask more question from our government. I myself believe in this sighting as i have seen a large green orb that hovered and moved across the sky in the farms field behind my parents house. Something is going to come about in the next 10yrs that will change humanity and the way we look at life. All i can say is about time. They exisit people and they have been coming and going from here for a long time. There is a species already in contact and working with our governments. These sightings i believe are other species that are trying to break there hold on our planet as to it is probably against Cosmic Laws to interfere with a grow species from other planets untill they have fully Spirtiually Evolved.

Not the same!

Except the dude posted the thread at 1:59AM Eastern time on 1/27/2008. Therefore in Cali time, it was 10:59PM 1/26/2008 when he posted the thread. So there is a STRONG chance that the UFO the person posted on ATS, is the same UFO talked about in this thread.

I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Look, the point i was trying to make is just because there is no photographic evidence it does not mean it did not happen.

Not everyone runs around with their camera phone at the ready or a camera bag with a tripod and a digital SLR camera.

But this does not mean I'm going to call everyone who has something to say a lier. What if people start becoming reluctant about comming foward with the things that they see. Then we will have nothing to go on.
Eye witness reports are very important and should not be dismissed as random mumbo jumbo.

I live in Santa Barbara, but I do not remember anything on that particular night. A while ago, my friend and I saw a meteor crash on the islands, and a glow was present for most of the night, but I posted that and got zilch in the confirmation area.

I have been seeing alot out here in the skies, lately. But I feel it's like when you buy a new car(new to you), you never noticed all the honda civics out there until you start driving one. I feel like I watch the sky all the time. My TIVO is full, and I still don't know whats happening on one tree hill this season.
Is there anyone else south of me right now?

Interesting.

I'm in So. Cal. and saw nothing. No mention, no pictures, no buzz, no news ... nothin'.

Being that - in California - most people seem to have their cellphone cameras at the ready at all times, I'm surprised that there's no picture or anything anywhere on this.

Maybe Britney was having another public mental seizure and all the cameras were pointed the wrong way...

Your pal,
Meat.

Check the date of the Sacramento thread...

It may be a like craft but, there's three years between sightings...

People say this every single day on ATS. Every day since the forum began. People have been saying "sightings seem to be increasing" since the 1940's.

Nothing has changed.
