Great point man!

Has anyone actually tried to take a picture of a distant object in the sky?

I have with my camera phone of a helicopter in the sky about 30 yards away, and the picture came out like crap! You couldn't even tell what the object was, and that was at 30 yards.

Great point!

Yes, good point.

Few have any ability to take good pictures of each other, let alone a UFO. Especially night imaging. Even pros cannot fast draw their cameras without adjustment.

A good shot or footage would be called fake here anyway. To many people who think watching the Science Channel is enough to have any opinion. Trolls, cynics, pre-neg-skeptics would make it hard to be objective. The real work is not done here. We're just watching so far.

okay, so seriously, if you are in so cal or c-cal, you need to hang out outside tonight. I just shot a thirty sec. video, there was a light outside that was stationary, way up, blinking. then before I could even adjust the camera (my sony 7.2 mp, in video mode, hd camera was charging) the blinking started to dim, like the object was moving away from me (straight up), and then within three blinks it was gone. I will go back outside, dont know if the other video is worth anything, think I missed it anyway. check back later, I think something is "up".( as Ive said before, In Santa Barbara)
-Jason

edit; so, its like cold out and stuff, so I'm back inside. I wanted to say, that if you are in central cali, just look up at ORION, and follow his left hand to ( the sisters?) the first constellation. it was in that line. thought it was a plane, didn't move after five blinks, got camera, disapeared within 5 more blinks, never moved position, just faded if you will. wasn't a helo or a plane. I hate that I know there is something, and yet we cannot debate why they are here until there is irrefutable evidence.

I believe there are extra-terrestrial beings visiting earth. But, they know the right time and place to come and go when absolutely know-one can snap a photo of them. Who knows, they might even be what the holy prophets in the past considered Angels. Just a thought.

yeah the sky is "poppin" tonight. I got some vids of the planes and helicopters over head. I got one of a helicopter seeming to hover right in front of me then swoop back right over top. I bet they where thinking "Check out this matrix-wannabe-mo-fo with the camera"
I'll post the vid later tonight or tomorrow. I have no idea what or who they are but they seem to be around quiet often.

Well, I live in Los Angeles, and every one of my students thought I was insane because they caught me staring up at the sky this past friday, Feb. 1st.

I expressed interest in the clear blue sky completely ravaged by a minimum of 10 maybe 15 huge fat smoky con-trails stripped across the San Fernando Valley skyline and directly over head. Teenagers can be so apathetic.

I was in a good mood most of this weekend, which I blamed on all the "good" fumes I was breathing in all day Friday.

Hey Guys, was just coming home from a friends house in the Rocklin/Roseville area which is just north of Sacramento and saw two different aircraft in the sky at two separate times that had three stationary lights and one blinking one. They seem to be just hovering for a little while and move off slowly.

I don't know if its helicopters or another type of aircraft and im defiantly not saying that these are UFO. Just wanting to let you guys know, I see a lot of aircraft in the nights sky all the time and usually don't think anything of it but I am posting this because something was different about these aircraft and I cant quite put my finger on it. Something was really strange with the way they hovered in one spot and then moved really slowly. It was almost as if they where monitoring something or somebody.

Shakesbeer, you have an excellent idea.

We may want to create another thread and dedicate it to black helicopter sightings. We should all take pictures and post them any time we see black helicopters or other strange aircraft flying around.

We really need to focus on boosting awareness on this because the ongoing suspicious activity has now gotten to the point now where I think we need to start being concerned and aware and start asking some serious questions.

Well here's my picture of a blacked out helicopter with two like circle gun things that looked like missiles would be shot out of over my house in phoenix the other day; they hover over/around my house a lot at night and sometimes fly in formation of 3's. I don't remember the thread but i posted about these blacked out no markings helicopters a year or so ago on here before.

I took this picture with my camera phone(a blackberry curve) which has two megapixels and 5x zoom i believe.

I'm in orange county and I am pretty sure the weather was rubbish that night these supposed sightings took place, just so everyone knows. Tonight the sky is perfect, I'll go and have a look just now, Signs ends in 4 minutes.

I think people are more prone to hold onto pictures and video's of UFO's these days, people have heard so many stories of investigators coming to investigate, take away the evidence while promising their return only to never see them again.

MUFON is one culprit they took a friends footage in 2001 and even now when they decide to return her messages she gets the same answer, the investigation is ongoing, (for 7 yrs)?

I think i would hold onto my evidence if i had some, i would make several copies and put the originals in a very safe place.

Ever since Roswell we have all heard stories of the Air Force visiting to investigate and taking the evience never to be seen again, and some of these encounters are told to be fantastic, even phisycal evidence has been taken away for analysis again to just vanish.

If hindsight was taken into account on a lot of the sightings ive heard of where the evidence is overwhelming, and the witnesses had held onto what they had i think we would have had disclosure a long time ago.

I think there is evidence of these encounters out there even from stephensville and people are just waiting until the right moment to reveal it, we are learning some valuable lessons as regards to covering these kinds of activities up, and government denials ETC, does anyone else agree people dont seem to trust investigations of an official kind much anymore?

To many promises, with to many lies, and to many accidental losses or damages. but this is just IMO

Honestly if you want to see some amazing stuff in the sky come to where I live in Calhoun County nestled the mountains of West Virginia.....Many many many stargazers come here year after year...My area is one of the best places for stargazing because of its almost, if not total lack of light pollution... I personally have seen....well.... "strange" things in the skies around here.

Although this is the norm, as most of us here have grown up seeing strange things in the skies at night...It generally goes unreported for a few simple facts...1. Why report something that you have seen off and on your entire life...2. This is WV after all, people around here tend to keep to themselves...3. Fear of ridicule.

I would invite any of you to come to my area, if not for one night....Who knows what you may see...Or what may see you.

Oh, one more thing.....Has anyone here ever heard of the "Phantom of Flatwoods"????.....Look it up...I had family there that night.

edit for spelling.

LOL......... You are probably right!!!! I think most of the stuff people are seeing are Government craft, or some beings working with the Government. I don't have a good feeling about this year, something tells me we are in for one hell of a ride. We think we know, but wait until the lights go out!!!!!!

Has agency written all over it

Just one of many tip offs and I say this because I have the propagandizers best interest, feel bad for them, and want them to improve on propagating their propaganda.

The tip off is the ad "When will you die" and some other things the way the page is set up I wont go into.

These folks need to quit using such conspicuous characters like Mr Vike

so umm all those people saw it and not even a single photo ? Come on , I'm not even asking for a clear video but a darn photo ... You know what , I am a firm beliver in ET/UFO but more posts like that and I will start to turn into a sceptic.

What is more likely:

All of those people saw it and didn't get a photograph, or all of them got together and decided they were going to fake seeing a UFO?

I really hope we get someone to comment from California!

I bet someone has some sort of media concerning the object seen!

Right now a picture from a cell phone would suffice quite nicely!

Anyone?

California resident here! I haven't heard anything about this. In fact- this is the first I have heard of it. Believe me- this is California and it would be all over the news- especially on FOX. Then again, I never watch television!

Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

3). Somebody saw something wierd that could not be explained and told somebody else , that person told somebody else who thought they saw something , then somebody else saw something and asusmed its the same thing . etc.... Get my point ?

Not saying they are liars , just that with all the recent sightings that hit mainstream media , maybe somebody got a bit carried away ?

i just cant belive nobody even made a crappy cell pic , anything .. Come one , lets try to use common sense and statistics here ..

I understand that some people (even most ) might stare at the object in awe and not think about making any photos but there will ALWAYS be somebody that wants attention , fame , a cool pic, a cool story , money , better reputation at school , etc and will make a photo/video of the object ..

If it would have been seen by 2-3 people then ok I understad , but with multiple people seeing the same thing in the middle of one of the most tech advanced cities/countries in the world its statisticly impossible not to get at least a crappy photo ... Sorry but whatever you say , its impossible .. And I am not a sceptic just somebody that can put 2 and 2 together ..

That's why the internet is around, so we can report the truth, LOL!

I do not know why Stephenville got so much publicity and Cali did not. Could it be because of those new little vending machines they are putting up?

Lol, your last line is hilarious. Here is my take on it..

*a phone call, you are hearing one end of the conversation*
"Make sure you get those new vending machines up for that there medical .. well you know, the darn herbal cigarettes, yeah, make sure you get those up and operational the weekend before the Super Tuesday Primary vote man, yeah, because we need as many people under the influence as possible to pull off this Obama upset victory, *laughs*. well hey I have to go unload something from the truck, call me after you've installed the machines tomorrow and are done for the day, alright, talk to you later, bye."

It's a clandestine operation i'm telling yah. I'm just joking!
