I just watched the video........

VLC worked for me, I dont like quicktime as it takes over your comp without asking(how rude!).

Anyway, I am confused, all i saw was traffic, and the camera pans to the sky........Are we supposed to be seeing traffic or something in the sky?

You ain't kiddin'. Word on the street is the rest of the World is tired of waiting for the U.S to announce their existance and our Government is under pressure from the likes of France, Mexico and others to come out with it.

I think they might be on the road to doing that, but I really really think they dont want to have to do that and I can almost hear the mice on the treadmill in their brains trying to work out a distraction so they can put it off.

But I dont think they can. I feel like it is time one way or another. But thats just my instincts going off.

I hope the pressure gives way to disclosure.

But my main concern with this is, how much are they going to tell us, and how much of what they say is the truth and not just some agenda driven deception?

Someone just said that sightings seem to be increasing recently. Could that be because we are 4 years away from Nibiru, coming back into the inner solar system? If the ancient Sumerian were correct and Nibiru does exist that would also mean that it is highly likely that their "Anunnaki" also exist. If this planet which according to the Sumerian is 2 to 5 times the size of Earth, then I would imagine that the gravity it possesses is substantial enough to cause tremendous havoc as it passes through, not to mention the possibility of a collision. I would be interested to know what happened 3600 years ago, if there were some kind of global chaos, the last time Nibiru would have passed through. Perhaps these visitors are here to either observe what is coming, or to try to warn us, or even to try to prevent a cataclysmic event from occurring. I imagine they no more want to see their planet destroyed than we do. Take some time to read up on ancient Sumerian Society, they had some astounding information right out of the stone age, some of which was not known for another 6 thousand years and one item in particular is just now being explored. Have you ever thought that this Nibiru planet is actually a Planet-sized spaceship?

If these Anunnaki are actually living on this planet, and they are considered to be omniscient beings, then why wouldn't it be a spaceship?

I wouldn't worry too much about Nibiru coming into contact with earth. As this would have happened already. 3,600 years is just a blink compared to the age of the earth. If my guess is correct, 3,600 years ago wasn't the first time this "planet" has come to earth if you will.

If you are right, and in 4 years the Anunnaki return, it would be the most joyous occasion!

I am a witness to the event of January 26, 2008 and I believe I am the first to have reported the event online on LiveJournal (you can read it here: gravityslens.livejournal.com...). Within an hour of my post I receieved emails from several witnesses who found my entry while searching the web for any news on what they may have seen. I also filed a report with MUFON the following day and was subsequently interviewd via telephone by Jan Harzan, MUFON's So. Cal. assistant director.

Just to be clear, let me begin by saying that I am a photographer and an amateur astronomer lving in Placentia, north Orange County, California. I've spent thirty years exploring the night sky with large telescopes and creating celestial portraits with long exposure astrophotography. I've spent countless nights alone in the desert and on remote mountaintops across the southwest and never before have I seen anything like what I saw on the early evening of Saturday, January 26, 2008.

I was in my living room watching television. The film "Breech" was on HBO and directly behind the television are two large windows facing west. The sky was dark and cloudy (within half an hour it would begin to rain).
I saw an unusual light in the sky and I went out to investigate. At first I thought there were several helicopters with bright lights in that part of the sky, but as I looked I quickly changed my mind. One light was definitely a small private plane which appeared to be circling above a strange brighter light that appeared to hover in place. Then it began to move, slowly, northward and I could see that this object was not a single point light source (such as that on an aircraft) but rather the whole thing appeared to be luminous and had a shape like an oval. I had the impression that I was looking at the underside of an illuminated disc tilted at an angle. Within a few seconds I saw what appeared as a circular trail of fire or sparks (much like the trail of a bottle rocket, except it made a perfectly oval outline against the dark sky) against the clouds about 5 degrees north (and a little above) the bright oval-shaped object. The feeling that washed over me then was one of awe. I knew I was seeing something extraordinary. And just as that fact dawned on me, the bright oval-shaped object appeared to suddenly flash or eject a kind of wave of plasma-like fiery light at its northward end and I could discern sparks or embers floating off of the lightwave against the dark sky. I watched as it repeated this action at which point I ran into the house to grab my digital SLR and 300mm lens. It might have taken me 30 seconds to return to spot in my driveway where I had been watching all this unfold, but evidently the object had increased its speed and had moved considerably farther and by the time I was able to get to a spot and raise the camera to my eye it disappeared beyond my view forever.

I have been profoundly struck by this event andI've spent a good deal of time researching the various sightings reports that are available online. From these and from the people I have communicated with who also saw the event, I've come to the conclusion that this was a highly localized event, centered directly over the city of Fullerton.

I have in my possession a 54 second digicam video of this object sent to me by a man who saw it from Yorba Linda, about 2 miles east of my location. The video suffers from the cameras autofocus constantly moving in and out due to the low light and lack of edge contrast for achieving focus lock.

I am honestly starting to worry, with all the corruption and loss of evidence, that the US gov is just going to destroy all of the UFO-related stuff if it really comes down to releasing it. Like all the other "lost" evidences, someone will publicly pretend to take the fall for it... But it will still be "lost". Gone. My opinion. We will not see it.

I've been reading ATS for years but had never registered until I saw this thread. My wife and I saw the UFOs over Orange County and I figured that now I actually had something worth posting on ATS.

Anyway, we we're in the city of Orange, driving north on Main St. We were stopped at a light when I looked up and saw what I thought was definitely fireworks. There were two bright red balls they left a red-orange trail behind them. After a few seconds of watching the balls, I waited for them to fade away like fireworks do, but instead they just stopped and hovered and their tails disappeared. We knew right away we weren't looking at fireworks. After a couple of seconds, the balls started moving again in random patterns. As soon as they started moving again, their tails reappeared. By this time the traffic light changed and we turned off Main Street. After turning, we no longer had a clear view of the balls.

We debated on whether to turn around and head toward the lights, but it was starting to rain and the lights were a pretty good distance away (5-10 miles?), so we just kept driving. At the time we were both intrigued, but figured there was probably a logical explanation for what we saw. Anyway, after reading that so many other people in the area had seen the balls and that no explanation has been given, I really wish we would've followed them.

It was really something remarkable to witness and I would love to know what they were.

Several witness accounts seem to note "sparks" falling from the trail. Could this just be another RC "night flight" with pyro/sparklers, but this time it was an RC helicopter, which would explain the hovering?

These "sparks" UFOs have been showing up more and more these last couple of years. This simple explanation would seem to account for it.

These gas fueled RC planes/copters can also come equipped with very bright lights too.

Just something to consider.

I've considered this, as well as a hundred other alternatives. It's my opinion that the object or objects were initially too high in the sky and seen from an apparent radius of approximately 4-5 miles in any direction, making the likelihood of a RC type device rather remote. Also, the object I saw didn't appear to be equipped with lights -- the entire shape was luminous with a color and intensity similar to an incandescent house bulb.
When I first saw it through the window, I thought it was a street lamp -- it was shaped kind of like that -- but I knew there were no streetlamps previously visible through those windows, so I got up to look. Glad I did.

The video really shows nothing more than unfocused light in the sky, however it is long enough to faithfully depict the objects apparent motion in the sky until it is obscured by trees or structures. This video is not owned by me and I could neither distribute nor display it without the owner's consent.

This article almost perfectly describes in both appearance and behavior what I saw on the evening on January 26, 2008 at approximately 6:00 PM local time.
