But his personal opinion isn't the point. Hell, he could just as easily believe in euthanasia, yet support the Constitutional position of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
Too many people want to vote for what they want, not what is legal under the Constitution. The federal government now leaves almost nothing for the local population to decide. This is why we have a "nanny state". Those things that are not directly listed in the Constitution as federal rights are up to the states to decide.
Now the guys a baby doctor, so do you really expect him to be for abortion? For Pet's sake, you're not voting the guy in as American Idol, you want somebody that follows the law. We've already had too many people in the Oval Office who thought they had a mandate to change America.

Now if the title of the article was "Who is Ron Paul? The record breaking $6 million candidate?" or something to that effecdt I would be elated but when I clicked the link the title is "Paul rakes in millions despite low polling among GOP" as always they acknowledge the $ but at the same time add a negative spin. If the article originally had the title "Who is Ron Paul?..." and was changed to the "...despite low polling...", I find that very interesting.
It's all about the spin but I will say front page is much better than what he has been getting.

Aww how sweet. You're showing your ignorance and doing sterotypes. Awww!!! Oh do you drive on the roads that were paved by the federal government? Well better not do that. Do you get mail delivered to your house? Oops there you go again. Do you support having the fire and police departments? Oops there you go again. Hypocritical and typical.

You're right - it is scary and I think they want us to be sacred. I almost feel like they are directly threatening us. They want us to be scared one way or another - either by hyping up the whole "terrorist" thing or by taking away our rights and creating secret prisons. In a way they are not giving us any choice but to be scared. We are definitely under attack. But perhaps it is slowly starting to turn on them - maybe all this fear mongering is happening because in reality they are scared. I don't know what is going to happen but I definitely feel a mass consciousness slowly coming to a boil.
I also don't believe this "momentum" started or will end with Ron Paul.

Funny how all the things you mention are funded by excise taxes. And you don't have to pay them. You can choose not to pay the gas tax which pays for roads, you can choose not to pay property taxes by renting, which pays for fire, police, and schools.
Typical, hypocritical? At least I know the fracken tax code, what do you know about it, other than there is no way you or your classmates would ever survive without it. Maybe I'll start up a fund for you and the rest of your socialist friends. Get you enough money to start a commune or something. At least you'd be out of our way. Oh wait, that was already done, en.wikipedia.org... . Thought for sure I'd see you in one of those pictures.
The last thing I'm doing is showing my ignorance, sweetheart. I know more about your defunct style of government than you do. And probably more than that fat baby boomer college professor that corrupted your mind. As far as stereotypes go, I'm guilty, and I don't care. Socialists are the 2nd worse kind of human being in existence today. You are thieves. You think you deserve everything for nothing. You say the same things Hitler and Stalin said, with your constant banterings of "equality", and "every person a king". I know exactly what you are. And so does history. Socialists have destroyed production, stifled the human spirit, decreased the quality of life, taken children away from their parents, put those children in the care of the state. Interfered with the doctor patient relationship, destroyed our schools, and made people dependent on government.
I've never claimed I thought otherwise.

Getting Ron Paul in office is only part one. Part two is voting out all your treasonous Democrat and Republican congressmen. keep thinking we have no support, I can't wait to see your face the day your nanny state disappears. You be like that lady on the news during Katrina, yelling at the news crew, saying "somebody needs to come down here and give me a check!".

Please refer back to what the intent of this thread is. You are more than welcome on this site to have your own opinion and you are free to say that Paul is a total loser if you want. However, this forum is talking about the MSM attempt to silence Dr. Paul. This thread is not about your personal beliefs regarding socialism, Civil Rights or the role of government. You have tried to make this thread about you, in other words, you have hijacked this thread. If you do not wish to discuss the topic at hand, feel free to start your own thread about your beliefs.

What do you suppose would happen if he were to get elected. Or do you suppose we(the masses)would never find out about it? It's going to be my first time voting this next election, and Ron Paul has my vote if he gets that far, I just get the feeling that something bad is going to happen.
