How would it affect you to have the existence of extraterrestrials confirmed?

if aliens landed here in london & turned out to be realy unfriendly like eating humans then maybe ide wear a tinfoil hat for protection.
but if the aliens turned out to be chilled out & friendly then ide like to ask if they sell cheap second hand flying saucers.
apart from that i cant see there presents bothering me that much. ide say the more religios peoples on this dirt ball might be more concerned to find there beliefs are worthless

The moment ETs are confirmed by the Gov I will stop working. I do scientific for a living so if ETs are confirmed my work would be pointless I think. Better to start learning their technology rather than trying to re-discover the frekking wheel.

This would definitely change my life i mean c'mon guys what are we really living for??? to work?? to make a living?? please this will be the real reason why we are living to meet our extended family from the stars so they can help us excel ourselves as the spiritual beings we are on this human path. Thats it we are spiritual beings on a human/physical journey, meeting them will help us all become what we are meant to..

I will feel very pee'd off at the Governments for withholding this info from us. I think society as we know it now will change dramatically once disclosure happens. For one humans will not be the only living intelligent lifeforms on this planet we will have guests our extended brothers of light..

I would be afraid that once confirmation of extraterrestrials happens that evangelical christians would try to convert the aliens by teaching them about Jesus so that the aliens could spread the word of god to the entire universe. Then the whole universe would be screwed instead of only us on this planet. LOL

Seriously though, I would feel perfectly fine if extraterrestrials were confirmed to exist because it would confirm what I already know, but I would be afraid how the religions of the world would handle the news. Remember the movie Contact?

I do not believe John Lear to be telling the truth about the aliens. There are too many other sources claiming they want to help us. I believe they are keeping it a secret because they dont want a new society. The US government is keeping new alien technology given to them a secret because they want to earn as much money as possible while there still is oil left in the ground. Also they want to get as much headstart researching and developing future technology to get ahead of other countries so much that they can dominate the entire planet. Also they want to keep the wars going to control the people on the planet.

And see and behold, that is what has happened and is happening.

I do not know why the aliens dont just talk to another government though. It seems to be the logical choice once you find out that the US one is filled with corrupt crooks.

The story of a hijacked US government by aliens doesnt hold water. Nobody would want to continue life as usual under those conditions, specially the ones knowing about it.

I like to watch UFO videos, search for evidence, etc. I'm not sure if UFOs are alien or simply advanced military aircraft. There is a large amount of evidence supporting the idea that UFOs are alien, at least according to military witnesses from the Roswell incident.

I think that the Brookings Report is correct though when is suggests that society would disintegrate. I don't think people are ready to take an inferior position to a superior species, if that's the case. If they have been in contact with, possibly directing our government, I think that would anger some people.

Personally I wish there would be some sort of admission or release of real evidence. But when you really think about the day that it occurs, it would be a very weird day and would change our world dramatically. If there ever is an admission or release of evidence, it will occur one of two ways. Either very, very slowly or very very quickly. I think the current path is very, very slowly. If they choose the quick path, they will require much tighter control over the population before hand so that they will be able to maintain a functional society.

That is of course if aliens are even real.

I don't think society would disintegrate. I'm sure it seems like it would but people still need to eat pay bills and live life. I for one would go to work as usual because I have a son to feed. I don't care if aliens moved next door me feeding my family would not change. My TV time might increase but family survival would still be the norm.

I guess. I think it's not going to take a disclosure to evolve our primitive line of thinking. Unless they are going to get directly involved in keeping us in line, I think we will still keep on beating, shooting, killing and bombing the hell out of each other when it becomes old news.

I already know they're here. Visiting secretly and "interviewing" possibly millions of us hasn't been a positive experience for most of us. I doubt that their coming out of the closet publicly will be much better than and will probably be just as bad for the world as the governments fear. The aliens are ALIEN! That means we simply can't understand them nor they us (we can barely understand each other, for goodness sake). The results of their "Arrival" will be disastrous for our current civilization. I'm sure that we will pick ourselves up and start a new society but the suffering in the meantime will be tremendous. Absolutely everything will be gone that we are familiar with. I don't think they're going to be bringing any goodies with them (cure for disease and aging or replicators, etc) .

i believe G-D exists and the angels and the fallen ones.They are all aliens as far as this world is concerned-----who am i to say that G-D has not created other living creatures besides us and the animals on this planet? when you'r a G-D being you can do whatever you want------and They dont have to tell us everything that They are doing----do They ?so i'm not worried about exterrestials at all----they can only do what G-D allows anyway---of course that doesnt stop me from being nosy----sure i want to know whats going on !

If any species has the intelligence and technology to traverse the cosmos and decide to pit stop on planet Earth, then they have nothing to fear from our primitive cultures. Therefore, they have never done so overtly with malice aforethought. Otherwise, we'd be crispy critters.

If they have made contact or are watching our species' evolution, then they are probably disappointed, at best, and may decide to interfere should we wish to take our violent tendencies beyond our system, if not atmosphere.

I highly doubt that we're collaborating with aliens. Again, we may have found some alien technology and tried to back-engineer it, but on a massive scale I would say this is difficult to conceal. I realize that humans are incredibly ignorant and naive, but where is the hard evidence that this is happening? Most photos are grainy and discovered to be a hoax, or we just have to take someone's word for it that they've experienced alien visitation, abduction or have seen a UFO.

I would appreciate some higher intervention from a benevolent ET, but I'm not going to hold out any hopes for the cosmic cavalry to ride up just minutes before Armeggedon. If any species showed up in a manner that left no doubt, then it all depends upon their intentions for our species and planet. Right now, I doubt that they could do much worse with it.

Blowing Earth out of the sky and putting a galactic highway through our present position might be the best thing for the universe. My apologies to Douglas Adams. Now, where's my towel?

our human leaders are operating with a faulty logic-----keeping the lid on technology that could benefit the whole human race just so the leaders can make themselves rich temporarily is stupid when you consider that we all will die eventually of old age if not by accident sooner.an endless life would be the "technology" i would want but we are not going to be given that until we learn how to control ourselves and stop murdering those we dont like or agree with.
