As I stated above, the show happened on the 14/15th July.

This event happened on the 21st I do believe.

It seems that most news stories were posted on the 19th which would point to this event occuring on the 14th of July.

And don't right it off without being able to prove it wasn't lanterns. While this explanation may be the most plausible one, it is no way definite. Hopefully your saying in your signature, "Serious Allegations need Serious Evidence" is meant to be comical if these are the type of responses you provide.

OK I stand corrected. The airshow hypothesis is still clutching at straws as far as I'm concerned. The event happened at 10.30pm, and the flying display comes to a close at 6.00ish.

Remirah what date was the Birmingham footage taken.
It looks too good to be true.
Oddly its a very similar shape as the Gulf Breeze UFO.

I think anybody who's got a half a brain knows these aren't lanterns or balloons!
I'm going of the footage and witness statements......A very good case in which it's plain to see apart from the professional debunkers..Don't take my word that there real..........Watch the video.............Look at the pictures...........Read the witness statements...Balloons....LOL.....LANTERNS.........WOOOOO LOL. For certain people who have no interest in ufos...They sure do use a lot of there own time debunking every piece of evidence with the same old tiresome swamp gas, balloons, lanterns...Over a hundred peoples statements mean nothing...There all drunk...Don't believe them...Lol i believe...And I'm not going to stop untill somebody gives me a reasonable explanation...And I'm getting sick of these stupid explanations that certain people keep giving..Don't you have anything better to comment on, than saying everything is lanterns. lol

I would love for them to be real, Im not saying there not, but watch the video , people arent looking amazed by the aerial display, I dont see anything in the video that convinces me its an ETV. Id like to hear more statements about the way they moved and wind direction etc. Did the lights 'blink out' , did they 'blink out together' did they lose altitude before blinking out, once agian theres no real meat on this story as yet, hopefully some researchers are out there talking to these people.

This incident went on for about 30 minutes I'm led to believe...I would imagine it would have taken a little time to get the video recorder...So I'm guessing the initial commotion wasn't caught on this piece of footage. AS you can see in the footage provided...There are other people taking shots and footage on various camera phones....So i would imagine that more pics and footage will be turning up over the next week. Oh yeah Rugby clubs usually have a massive stock of chinese lanterns and fireworks...LOl, The rugby lads are a very cultural diverse group !!!

And one more thing.....I live in Wolverhampton which is in the West midlands for all the people who don't know...........I live 45 miles away from stratford...
My brother has just moved there with his new girl friend.........I have phoned him and his girl friend and her family who were bought up in Stratford. They actually know some of the people who were at the pub... And theres quite a bit of excitement right now in sleepy Stratford...........Stratford is a very well to do place.......So the witness statements who will be seeing, will be coming from good reliable professionals...I'm going to see my brother Saturday..And see if i can find more about the weather conditions and I'm also going to the pub to question the landlord and staff to try to get some more information on the movement of the objects in question....And see what happened to them.

i've seen things like this before when i lived in a village called Shieldhill, on most clear nights you could see lights that would move erraticly, disappear, reappear and pull all sorts of crazy maneuvours! Anytime i seen them they just fadeout, vanished!

So who runs this international consortium of chinese lantirn releasers eh..what a load of poppycock..chinese lantirns dont hover stationary with no drift..they'd be wobbling all over the place with the slightest gust of wind. Not to mention holding a formation! LOL what a joke.
Sorry that debunk just does'nt hold ANY ground whatsoever.

Untill you come up with a better, more logical explanation, Id have a lay donw and rest. You seem a little..........tired!

i think your "chinese lantern" theory is the dumbest #ing theory i heard about anything on ATS. Are you that dumb to notice how high these lights are? and their behavior?

These are balls of light a high altitude, atleast half a mile.

I don't think people would just look up at chinese lanterns... notice the one slowly moving in from the right in the video...

I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE WOULD BE DUMB ENOUGH TO SAY THESE ARE LANTERNS!!!!!!!

GOD DAMN MY EFFIN HEAD HURTS!!!!

PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULD BE BANNED FOR STUPIDITY

[edit on 26-7-2007 by weknowyouknow]

Lol i totally agree with you mate..While always trying to keep a open mind... THe chinese lantern theory has had me laughing non stop for 10 mins.. Then also your post had me laughing to for 20 mins

Looks like a little passing cloud to me. Coincidentally semi-elliptical in shape.

btw, is the Stratford area known for non-debunked crop circle activity?

The lights may be associated with crop circle lights ...
