in the video from 2:18 until about 2:23 it is pretty plain to see (i recommend viewing it full screen) that there is a light/orb who knows? thing on the far right with a collection of the same things on the left in formation i believe.
during that interval you will be able too see the speed of the thing on the right which is traveling towards the other things on the left.
it gets very close and then stops.

my question is how did the thing on the right get that far away to begin with?
were there originally 4? and then the fifth (which i call the one that was on the far right) one showed up? did they arrive in a group? if so how did they arrive exactly, was there one leading the group? were they in a bunch? what direction did they arrive from and what direction did they depart towards?

does anyone know any answer to these questions?
also, were there reported sightings of the same things, moments before or after this happened in other towns in the uk?

Someone help me on this. Either I can see the future, or a very similar sighting in England occured very much like this recently. (within last 4-5 months) I just spent an hour searching old threads to no avail.

The building and the people in the foreground are eerily familiar.

Seem to recall some chap coming out of a bar and perhaps snapping shots with his cell phone. Several critcs on ATS joked it was the beer.

Ring a bell anyone? Drivng me crazy. thanks....kk

Thanks soooo much. That is exactly the one I was referring to. The "ufo" or whatever, are VERY similar to this new post. And the buildings and crowd reminded me of this.

I'm not going mad after all. Whew Kudos...kk

wow..thats another amazing video.

The skeptics would have us believe there are mass balloon releasings like this on a weekly basis..must be the International Balloon Hoaxing Organisation eh?

Unfortunately I can't get the video on the newspaper link to work. The picture on the newspaper site, especially how the lights appear (triangular with one in the middle), reminds me of the rumoured, secret airplane, black triangle (TR-3B).

Example of the Belgium sighting:
www.deepspace4.com...

People all around the world have claimed to have seen a very large black triangle with lights in a triangular form and one in the middle, that hovers, flew silently.

However, if the eye withnesses in this British event are correct, that the lights at first were separate and then formed the triangular shape with one in the middle - then it can't be the rumoured TR-3B (if it exists).

That islington video doesn't look too impresive to me, i'm not sure what i'm supposed to be looking at. The largest light i saw in that was clearly some kind of camera artifact/reflection, as it moves exactly in step with the camera operators movement.

On the stratford sightings, I'd love to see the video, but I can't watch wmv, if anyone can do a repost in divx/mpeg it would be greatly appreciated.

Having not seen it, I can't really comment if they look like lanterns, but heres a little info that i didn't see elsewhere about the tattoo (Airshow)

the RAF fairford is not 100 miles away like someone said, its about 44 miles by road, and a rough guess would be 30-35 as the crow flies. You can have a look on google maps, do the thing for directions, and do the start as (51.680326, -1.775236) and finish as (Stratford-upon-avon) but remove the parenthesis, you can look at satellite view to see it's the actual base at those numbers.

Now, 10pm or thereabouts does sound a little late for aircraft related to the show, however it could be that they were returning from that base to wherever they are actually stationed, what with there being 500+ aircraft present at the show from what i read, it doesn't seem likely that they would all be based at that base.

Now I will take off the sceptic hat, and get into conspiracy mode

If i believe anything it's not aliens, it's testing of new aircraft. Now what could be better cover for testing than an airshow within 40 miles on that weekend boasting of so many craft, most of the sceptics will write this one off as being something to do with the airshow, which only leaves the tin foil hat brigade (i'm not trying to troll here, thats just what most people think!) asking questions, who are easy to dismiss. Also consider that this airbase is also a US base, from what i've read some of the best sightings in the UK are related to or near US bases.

I blew up the still shot of the triangle formation 300% and squeezed the gamma levels pretty far to see if a solid shape (triangle) appeared against the night sky.

No such artifact, but unknown blue-green "connector" between central light of the formation and farthest right light is evident.

First there were no planets. Then there was no hospitable planets. Then there was no planets with water on them, then there was no planets with life on them... then there were no planets with intelligent life on them.

Rubbish is when something useful becomes useless to somebody and not when it becomes worthless.

Hi , nice work here, would lanterns appear like this after your photoshop experiment, the light looks really intence, Im gonna see if I can get the wind data for that day, theres lots that doesnt add up here.

As I stated above, the show happened on the 14/15th July.

This event happened on the 21st I do believe.

There were not 500 aircraft at RIAT, and I know, because I was there.

On the lanterns idea.

The main formation appears to be stationary in the video.

The fifth object approaches and can be clearly seen to be doing so.

If these are lanterns carried on the prevailing wind, all the objects would be moving in the same direction at the same time, surely? And how does it manage to come to a complete stop?

So unless these are powered in some way, the lantern theory doesn't wash too well.

the only possible way that could happen is a thermal below the cluster and the wind blowing the object towards that thermal....is that possible ?

I've noticed something pretty odd, its to do with the article.
You notice how the article's got this quote
"Hillary Potter, from the British Earth Aerial Mystery Society, said it was rare for such phenomena to be witnessed by so many people.

'Such incidents have been on the increase recently,' she added. 'There are reports at the moment coming in from all over the country.'
"
Has ANYONE ever heards of BEAMS or British Earth Aerial Mystery Society, I havent and its the sort of thing i'd be interested in, so i thought i'll get it googled and the only mentions of it i can find are all related to the article.

Hi nothingistrivial,

Well, the "British Earth Aerial Mysteries Society" [note "Mysteries", plural] has been around for quite a while and is commonly abbreviated to "BEAMS" .

I think the reference to the "British Earth Aerial Mystery Society" [note "Mystery", singular] may simply be a typographical error. (But given the way that UFO groups with similar names pop up, then disappear a few months/years later, who knows...).

Contact details for the "British Earth Aerial Mysteries Society" can be found on various websites.

Kind Regards,

Isaac Koi

I thought you all might like to know, the Stratford Mass Sighting just got a news byte on CNN American Morning (July 26th, 750 AM EST.) It was not very long, but they showed a still of the triangle formation and talked about how bright and visilble it was resulting in clearing out the pubs etc.

Ditto. I just saw it too. BTW, they handled it as a "newsworthy" item with no wise cracks. They closed by saying it was being investigated.

CNN may not currently reside on it's once lofty journalistic pedestal, but it ain't FOX news either. Couple this coverage with the recent Larry King show about UFO's. Are they getting us ready? Who knows?

Regards.....kk
