DOC Velocity is a person who is afraid and hopeless. He is hopeless, but it doesn't end there. He is afraid of hope, because of what it might mean. For as long as he has been alive, no one has been able to change anything. It has been one perpetual cycle of corruption, greed, and selfishness.

Now, some one comes around and says it is time for change. He laughs for two reasons. The first is because he has never seen or heard of it being done, so why would it change now. But the second and more important reason, is fear. He wants to laugh it off. He wants it to go away. It is not the shadow government he is afraid of, or the terrorists they speak of, but change. He fears change, and what will become of it.

He has to deny Ron Paul, because if he supported him, and Paul succeeded, that will mean change. Now comes what we can't predict, what we can't expect. Some people fear that mystery of what will happen. What is the worst that could happen? For us, a deadlock between the president and congress for 4 years in which nothing gets accomplished....But for him, the worst that could happen is Mr. Pauls Success. His success brings change, and you don't want that do you? Because for the first time in your life, you wouldn't know what to expect, and you wouldn't have the excuse that there is a shadow government to shift the blame onto.

With Mr. Paul succeeding, you would have to start caring, because the way politics would change, you would have to. Until this change, politics didn't matter because you didn't have a say. But what happens when things change and you do? Then you have to start to care, and for some, thats just too much to ask of them....

This is what I love about this forum.

You have TRUE believers.

Not believers because it is cool, or believers because they hate their own lives so much they want anything different, or believers because they want to trash nonbelievers.

But people who just plain and simply believe that there are bigger and better things to be seen in life than the status quo we are spoonfed by the thought police who whether you want to see it or not, are trying DESPERATELY(and in this case, not hiding it very well) to control HOW YOU THINK AND FEEL about the world around you.

Bravo, man. GREAT post.

FEMA cant even manage a disaster in ONE city (New Orleans) much less manage martial law in the entire country.
Also im glad that someone actually had the guts to say what everyone is thinking, he isnt to far off from the truth.
The "official" reason for terrorism against America, according to what they claim Bin Laden said is.. The presence of US soldiers in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War.
Bin Laden actually made an offer to Saudi to bring his Muja fighters from Afghan to Saudi in the event of an Iraqi invasion. The King politely turned him down and instead invited US troops.
Im sure our blind allegiance to Israel had something to do with it to.

Of course the powers that be want Ron Paul removed.....

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

The powers that be dont want anyone with these values in office.
I will be voting for Mr Paul.

i am not afraid of America being divided. I don't know if that can happen. We are a flock mentality, and in general don't worry about things that don't directly affect us.

Take the recent smoking bans. In my town, right after they banned smoking in public places, the mayor was recalled with over half the city's population in signatures. However, he was also reelected 3 months later. Go figure. People of this once great nation are apathetic now, leaving only the fringe to fight over the myriad petty things that they fight over. Then, it gets put on the news for the world to see and judge us by.

Keep in mind that few people live like they do on The Real World...the same can be said about news. You are only seeing what is exciting, not a true representation.

The real problem with America is intellectual laziness. We choose to not think for ourselves. South Park makes episode after episode lampooning this horrible trait.

I am truly baffled at how all those survivors in Kansas managed to do anything to survive without FEMA coming in and handing it to them.

New Orleans was less a problem with FEMA (at least initially) and more a problem with local governments being so corrupt they couldn't even gas up buses to evacuate with, and the denizens of the area not taking any personal responsibility for moving out of the way of the approaching tempest.

For years and years it was talked about ("What if a Cat 5 hurricane hits New Orleans"). From my memory, the consensus was that a cat 3 would do the town in....why did those people stay?

I don't get it.

Ok. This is amazing.

On the front page of www.msn.com...
this link www.msnbc.msn.com...

has a great article on what happened at Ron Paul's campaign headquarters right after he mentioned the reason the Muslims hate us. I cant believe they put this on the front page.

They still label him as "2nd tier" candidate which makes my blood boil because we all know he is the ONLY one running who you can consider a normal human being.

Maybe that should be his new slogan: Vote Ron Paul!!!! The only human left in the race.

read it all here

That's really an extraordinary statement," said Giuliani. "As someone who lived through the attack of September 11, that we invited the attack because we were attacking Iraq; I don't think I've ever heard that before and I've heard some pretty absurd explanations for September 11."

As the crowd applauded wildly, Giuliani demanded that Paul retract his statements.

Paul tried to explain the process known as "blowback" -- which is the result of someone else's action coming back to afflict you -- but the audience drowned him out as the other candidates tried to pounce on him.

After watching all the network pundits laud Giuliani, it struck me that they must be the most clueless folks in the world.

First, Giuliani must be an idiot to not have heard Paul's rationale before. That issue has been raised countless times in the last six years by any number of experts.

Second, when we finish with our emotional response, it would behoove us to actually think about what Paul said and make the effort to understand his rationale.

Granted, Americans were severely damaged by the hijacking of U.S. planes, and it has resulted in a worldwide fight against terror. Was it proper for the United States to respond to the attack? Of course! But should we, as a matter of policy, and moral decency, learn to think and comprehend that our actions in one part of the world could very well come back to hurt us, or, as Paul would say, blow back in our face? Absolutely. His real problem wasn't his analysis, but how it came out of his mouth.

This is GREAT!

Libertarians cant get press, Paul looses his 1988 run as a Libertarian, so what does he do? He calls himself a Republican.

Many of the Nevada Libertarians I know have a major problem with this. I personally think the man is brilliant.

Besides, he is the only sure bet win against Hillary. No one really wants Hillary, but the war has left us tired. We want out.

Paul could pull many democrat votes from Hillary. If he makes it through the primaries he will win.

I need to check Nevada law. If I have to change my registration from Libertarian to Republican in order to vote for Paul in the primary I will.

BTW, I didn’t understand why he didn’t run 3 years ago. I am glad he didn’t, he has a better shot now.

Thanks Rudy for giving our guy some press!

Than you need to make sure you let those Libertarians know he was a Republican long before he ran on the Libertarian ticket.

Couple of quotes from the msn story.

Is Paul having an impact?
Asked Thursday what impact he is having on the Republican presidential race, Paul said, “I think it might be significant that one of the so-called front-runners needed to attack me on national television. They must think I’m having enough of an impact that they have to try to discredit me. That was the purpose of the (Giuliani) attack: to discredit me so that my foreign policy challenge wouldn’t be heard.”

He added, “What annoys them the most is that I don’t criticize foreign policy from the Left; I criticize it from the Right, from a conservative viewpoint, from a constitutional viewpoint. It drives them nuts.”

Just an idea but I think if Clinton does not get nod in the primary's she will go independent and split the vote for the Dems, thus losing the election to a Rep who I think is going to be Rudy. I can't see the banksters letting Ron Paul take the Rep primary's
Just daydreaming here so no need for any flames

I say screw the bankers. We decide who will win those primaries, and I still say it is the most important part of the election, the primaries.

Thats why Im trying to start a movement in NJ to get people to vote him in the primaries. NJ is one of the first states to vote for the primaries in 08 I believe, so it is important that we get NJ to vote Ron Paul in the primaries.

if Ron Paul gets momentum and wins and starts making changes they will kill him

it is plain and simple the funny thing is i would not be surprised if they took him out sooner than later

the zionists and the neocon's ARE really bothered by this guy and i'd like to hear them squirm and continue to make moron's out of themselves on national tv for a bit longer

i'm not sure what is more worrisome in the next 2 years an economic depression

or a false flag and martial law (or both)
