If you think you saw a UFO...

Im trying to figure out what I saw. Tonight I was with my buddy and we had just gotten back from eating then i stepped outside to look at the moon and right to the left i see this light quickly vanish from site. SO I go inside do some reasearch on metorites etc and other space debree and I found that pictures that i looked at all had trails but this object that I saw did not have a trail and it was clear skys. Can anyone help me out on what could have been floatin around florida skys.

Guys, thanks to all of you for your stories. I really hope that we get some more members to tell you what they think. Personally, I am very interested in your experiences, and would like to somehow interview all of you guys about your sightings.

Let me figure out how to do that, and I'll give you guys a proper response as soon as I get my thoughts together.

Although my sighting was many years ago (1961), I am more positive than ever that it was truly a Alien craft, as opposed to a UFO.

My sighting took place in the daytime, 10:30 AM EST, under a beautiful blue sky with very few cumulus clouds. The clouds were what had me staring at the sky, as I was prone to finding shapes of things in the cloud formations.

As I live near a major Air Force Base, I was quite used to seeing many jet aircraft flying around, and this was before the ban on breaking the sound barrier, so that was something I observed quite often.

That is important, as it establishes that I was aware of speeds our jets of the day were capable of, and how that speed related to covering great distances across the sky, and also gave me insight as to the scale of an object at various distances.

That having been said, I will set to describe my sighting.

From my vantage point, I had a viewable area of the sky to the west of what I have now fairly accurately measured to be 40 miles. By luck or destiny I first observed this craft as it entered the viewable area from my left. I could not see the craft well enough to describe it further than to say it was a bright silvery object. By that I mean to say I could not see if it was cylindrical, oval, round, square, or irregularly shaped. And it was not under darkness and just "lights" that I was seeing, this was full light daytime! However that is entirely irrelevant.

What matters is the speed of the craft, and the manuvers it made. The speed was such that the craft crossed the entire viewable area in less than 4 seconds, and just as it was about to leave my view, it made an abrupt 90 degree right hand turn. I'm talking about instantly changing direction, no banking, no wide sweeping turn, but instantly changing course 90 degrees. The craft continued out of sight in that direction, but in just seconds, came back into view along that exact path in the opposite direction, and continued along that course out of sight. That was the last I saw of it, because I wanted to go tell my buddies about it, hoping it would come back around, and therefore support my sighting. However, we were only afforded another 5 minutes before we had to leave the area and go back inside the building, and was not fortunate enough to observe the craft again.

I know that many people come up with any number of explanations as to what it could have been, but I can tell you that I have seen firsthand the space shuttle streaking across the sky on re-entry, and that speed is not even close to what this craft was capable of. And the manuverability is unquestionably beyond what any domestic craft is capable of.

I have read some accounts that are compatible with my sighting, and my sighting rather legitimizes those accounts. I won't cloud the issue with those accounts, suffice it to say that I am more convinced than ever that there is much more going on between humans and "aliens" than we will ever know, because certain individuals feel the public can't handle the information.

Additional verification ( of "alien" presence, not my sighting ) came from a very close friend whom I have known since early childhood confided to me that they worked at the nearby Air Force base in an area where some of the "alien" remains were stored. I believe some of the facts were something no one could make up as accurately as they described, and which to a large degree, I was able to substantiate through another aquaintance.

Make what you want to of this account, but there is nothing I would not swear to on the most sacred article you could furnish. I'm very sure of what I saw, and am anxious for someone to have the conviction to tell the public what is being hidden from them. Anyone willing to step up?

Feel free to respond anyway you feel the need, it won't change my opinion. However, I hope that this accounting will provide a bit more re-enforcement of those who may have seen similar occurences.

This photo I took looks like it has a flying saucer in it. Some of my friends try to say it's a bug, but I don't see how that could be. You can clearly see that it has a metal look to it.

You should also know that the photo was of the rainbow behind the house. I took a series of 7 shots. The first one was taken on 7/19/2004 at 4:47 PM. The last two were taken at 4:48 and 4:49 PM.

The object only appears in the last photo. The shutter speed for each photo was 1/1000 sec. There is no bug that will blur when photographed at that fast of a shutter speed. And you can tell that this object has a motion blur. There were no objects in any of the other 6 photos.

I didn't even know at the time that I has a photo of a flying saucer. I only noticed it a few months later when I was cleaning out my hard drive, trying to make room for new photos. I did not see it live.

This first image (really photo #6) was taken most likely 30 seconds before the next photo #7. No ufo in it.

What do you guys think? Is it a saucer? It looks like it was coming form the area of our local Air force base (Elsworth in SD). The sun would have been to the right side of the photo. You can see a spot where the sun is hitting the object.

Yes it did go through photoshop. I always cleanup, crop, resize and improve color to all my photos. I might have the orginal somewhere.

Awesome dude. Is there any other information you can give us? I'm in sponge-mode at the moment, trying to gather all the surrounding data. EXIF data from the originals is always a great place to start.

I assure you that the object was on the original. I am able to make fakes. It would be fair just to let you know that. I even though for a second that maybe I did this myself. Because of when I took it I downloaded them into my sister's computer. And forgot about it. I had also put them on my computer. Months later I was looking at my photos and saw that. I thought to myself, I don't remember being that board to add a saucer to my photos. I didn't think I did, but thought I could have. But then after thinking about it, I remembered that my sister had original copies right off the memory card. So I went and looked and sure enough, the object was there on the orginal.

Someone has the balls enough to put an alien being on a commercial Playstation product. This is part of their method you guys (better wake up)! It seems like the government (or whoever it is) knows a way of mind controling the public by using the media. This is an ingenous idea. In order to incorporate this kind of alien being into our society, they are not doing it abruptly, but are doing it slowly through the media. Probably after many years these kids who see her in Playstation commercial will think its "natural" when they see these kinds of being in the streets.

My opinion? She's a hybrid. She has approximately, 70% human genes and 30% gray genes. They (grays) have perfected their hybrid cross-breeding to the point that she looks damn good. On a lighter note, during the past 1940s-1980s abductees said that the hybrids have few scattered hair on their heads and larger slanted eyes than the one you see in the commercial Playstation product.

I am glad someone put up this thread. I just wanted to say that when and if someone see's a real UFO they will know the difference.
I lived in Florida 6 years ago, when it was all over the internet that a UFO was going across country, I am sure some of you may remember it.

As a Joke and to prove it was not happening, With a brand new video camera I set out to tape the night skys as a joke for my then 1 year old daughter.

What happened next i will never forget. I indeed taped a UFO not far from me the horses where going insane there was NO SOUND from it. it hovered above the house next to mine in the trees. then flue off slowly at first, then zoom it was gone. I have the Video looked at by those who investagate such videos and photos.
they agreed it was indeed real and asked where i was when i took it and so forth.
I got scared and locked the Video in my dads safe. and never told anyone else, until now.

It is important to know that the trees all died at the tops and that the roof of the house next door to me was scorched. the people who where living there fixed the roof and Moved with in a couple of weeks. they said they wheren't waiting for it to come back

I am on the Video screaming for someone to come out of my house to see what i was seeing. i was yelling at the top of my lungs and the door was 20 feet away and no one herd me! the horses where all racing in fear and calling. and no one herd a thing!

to this day i do not understand why no one herd me or the horses. as the house was such you could hear every thing out side the house when you where inside.
Needless to say we also moved. and the owner of the place we where renting let the home be repoed by the bank.
by the way i can spell very well, but hiding as not only the people i sent my video to contacted me but also others. I used a P.O. box when i sent the video off to them but someone got my house address.
