Once upon a time, many, many moons ago, I swore I saw "something"... I was with someone who was off their tree on pot, who of course, denied it vehemently when anyone was around, but was quick to say "Duuuuudddddeee!!!! I totally saw it!!!!" when it was just the two of us. Stoner... I shouldn't be surprised - it was a 5 star restaurant I was working in at the time....

Regardless - the facts: Elora, Ontario, Canada... July 1998. Aproximately 1:00 in the morning... while I have tried with all of my might, I cannot remember the date, but it was a Saturday night (well, honestly, Sunday morning... )

I've never forgotten the feeling of that evening, though I have been **EXTREMELY** careful whom I tell ... One can only be chastised so many times before learning their lesson...

The feeling??? When you can feel the blood physically draining from your face, through your throat, and passed your shoulders... The feeling of 7-up tickling across your tongue, the sound of nothing rushing past your ears...

Nothing... NOTHING compares. You can feel it right into your toes, it's as though you've fainted, but you are 100% THERE.

... not that it's needed to be said here, but it is blessing to find a place on line to stumble into where ostracizing others is frowned upon… NOT encouraged…. .

THANK YOU!!

Do we send spacecrafts to other planets? Yep! So it doesn't seem so far fetched to me for other planets to send space crafts to ours.

MSNBC Poll (2007) * 10311 responses

Do you believe some UFO sightings are actually visits from extraterrestrials?

63% Yes. With the number of stars in our galaxy, it's impossible to believe that we haven't been visited by the inhabitants of other planets.

25% Maybe. Aliens might have visited Earth, but so far there is not enough compelling evidence to convince me.

12% No. It's just not rational to think that any of the UFO sightings are visiting aliens.

Update from my December 2012...On May 18th, 2013 I was in San Francisco with my sister. We were on the 24th floor of a hotel. It was about 7:00 PM at night and we were looking out the window towards the bay. I noticed an odd shaped cloud in a cloudless sky. I remarked to my sister, that it looked like the cloud I saw in December in my UFO sighting. She dismissed it. I took a photo of the cloud. Then we saw objects drop down from the cloud with lights on them. About 20 minutes later I took some photos of the lights coming on in the city and when I enlarged them, there were lights in formation above the bay. Also if you look closely you can see some type of emission from them.
There was a military plane is at the top of the dark photo. I reported the event and sent photos to MUFON.
Mostly I don't care if I see a UFO again....I think they are kind of tourist UFO's...so if they can't help out humanity...they can buzz off.

I live out in the African bush in a country that has no advanced aircraft programs,or any of the type of bases like Area 51 or Fort this/Fort that.Even in the days when our army was up to scratch+better than that of many other countries of comparable size,we were in a war against an invading force, and whatever budget they had catered for defence, not research+innovation in aerodynamics except for practical defence apparatus like the Denel Rooivalk(Redhawk) chopper etc. These recent years have brought a catastrophic deterioration in our defence capabilities+army quality in general, airborne or otherwise, there is less chance than ever of us having anything so unconventional+sophisticated as to be ufo-ish in manner or appearance. Less than nil-talk about Devolution. But not to digress into that-it serves merely as frame of reference.

So when considering that background the lights I have seen, and the way these lights behaved+operated, leads me to believe these were indeed ufo's of the type that is considered inexplicable and unearthly. With the Orange ufo,I did get to see it as it dimmed it's light-and it was a rounded shape, like a ball although from the distance I saw it,it was impossible to see if there were flattened sides making it more octagonal,eg.It had a dark metallic color like an old weathered copper or that type of hue.But not to refute your point-it is certainly counterproductive to just assume a light(s) is a ufo, meaning of ET origin. It does muddy the field even more-and already the ufo field is an epically muddy one.
