Besides japan in pearl harbor last time i checked was the US went in to both world wars in Europe Voluntarily.

1999 war in kosovo......The US stopped the frickken serbs from slaughtering all the albanians (ethnic cleansing) meanwhile russia and europe did nothing and it was in their backyard.


I want names of other countries that jumped in so save ass voluntarily...........

I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT RUSSIA IN WWI AND WWII because they got into the war only after getting attacked by the germans.......

What if the Leauge of nations....(UN equivalent after WWI) did something to stop the germans......maybe a preemptive strike to stop their war machine......it would have saved millions of lives!!

Yet the US is always considered the bad guy for acctially doing something......just because other countries turn their back and do nothing does not make them innocent.


I'm not saying the USA is perfect.....all gov't have flaws but overall I think we do more good then bad!

-The nuclear bombing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki
-Ten years of useless war in Vietnam

A positive thread.... Nothing but flames lately.

I sure hope America does not fall also.

I love this country where I was Born and Raised In and So do my parents and family who came here as immigrants.

Times have been rough lately and things that the Bush administration has done has been quite controvershal but they principle of this country when put on a scale of good and bad show that the USA throughout history has done more good than bad.

Listen buddy.... the USA didn't invent low wages. thats just what the value of labor in a certain country is.

I was in Montenegro last year (Balkans Europe) and my cousins husband and many other men work a whole day for about 4-5 Euros. That is just the going wage that has nothing to do with the USA.

China has low wages overall because there is a oversupply of labor (1+ billion people) hence the value of labor goes down. So how is it the USA's fault if it build factories in china and uses lower wages?

As far as the economy being in downfall.... so what.... it is called a cycle and the economy goes up and down. By your rationale the second any countries economy goes south on can assume that country will fall. Is that right?????

What is playing nice with the EU?....... elaborate.
