'Lost:' Season Three Discussion...

Yes I saw that guy too(Jacob), and wondering if he's the leader of the inhabitants? Also wondering why the flash light made Jacob go nuts? Ben definetly has him captive in that cabin. I hope Locke survives this and has the guts to kill Ben. I'll take that bet and say that one of the inhabitants saves him, maybe even Jacob.

The shot was brief, probably less than 10-15 frames, and this images is almost exactly what I saw. Except mine was 16x9, and in HD, and didn't have that CTV thing in the corner.

Put some hair on Locke, sit him sideways on that chair and see if he looks like him? Probably not. but you never know.

Also, I was checking on a message board and someone posted "Did you notice Richard's outfit when he first met Ben as a child? Seem 18th century sailor possibly?"

I was very taken aback. It did look very 18th century sailor. Also, I can't help but think Richard looks Persian. Maybe it's the eyes, but the guy makes me thing Persia.

I'll be very interested to see how this connects back to the boat. Remember, we heard rumblings during the school scene that sure sounded like explosions to me. Dynamite? From the boat? From the 18th century sailors?

Remember, Magnus Hanso was the Capitan of that boat.

what i did notice was that ben looks older than richard in present time...

richard should look way older by now, no???

Well, the current theories do support the Jacob=Locke With Wig. So Solarskye, you might be the big winner.

After looking at some other screen caps I can say it's passable. Then again, it might legitimately be Locke with a wig for the purposes of shooting that shot, and to keep a guest appearance from the credits list for Jacobs character.

Also, we have no idea how much they cleaned up that shot in post. I have a friend in LA who does that for a living. Goes frame by frame removing wrinkles, logos, teeth, you name it.

Yes I did, and it is going to be hell on that Island next wednesday. Sadly though some of our favorite characters are gonna die. Or are they?

I didn't even catch that while watching the show. I don't remember seeing that distinctive nose before. I don't think Jacob is anyone we know.

Locke better not be dead
Killing off my favorite characters will not keep me on this show

we have some interesting things to think about now:

- richard alpert seemed to have aged slower than ben did over the years...

- ben was going to shoot locke because locke mentioned that he was going to tell the others that ben was a fraud and because jacob spoke to locke and ben didn't know what jacob said...

i think this is yet another test by ben...

ben surely could have shot locke in the head, but he left him there in that pit...

maybe ben wants to see if jacob saves locke...
