upon reading this i must agree with AMUK . this is a disscussion forum and if all people wanna do is bicker and carry on like little children then i dont think this is the place for them . we are here to talk about things , topics that are stated in the headings ofthe forum. I am not trying to suck up to anyone but the fact is this ........ People that like to slander,Bicker and call each other names ruin it for everyone else and it is my wish that everyone should just stick to the topic at hand in a neutral and disscusionary way.
I repeat again i am not trying to suck up, I as i am sure everyone else on ATS is just trying to have a good decent time here without any sort of nonsence or childish name calling or arguing. This sight is here for a reason and i dont think it is a good idea to exploit it ..........I dont expect anyone to agree with me or take sides or whatever but i feel that this should be a place to open peoples eyes and respect the veiws of others maybie even compare them to there own . This is a slugfest people but i think it should be done in a mature and dignified way .

This is suppose to be a forum for intellectual debate, and it seems certain topics cause some to become emotional and thus unable to intelligently discuss anything.

Hey In my country Muslims dominate the land, Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim country yet i am an Atheist. Islamic injustice is a common thing in Indonesia because the MUSLIM government is banning all the things that Muslims think are bad like: Distribution of pork, Owning dogs, Pornography (damn!) and other crap! They make rules that people of different religious beliefs to comply with. Here is a quote: "Religion is regarded by the common as true, false to the wise and useful to rulers." Religion is a burden and to lead a country with the use of religion makes a worser Thirworld country than we already are, we are becoming like the IRanians!

P.S I LUV America and people in my country are mostly Anti-American

P.S.S Muslims are extremists, Comedy Central stopped showing Muhammad on South park cuz of THe riots while the CHristians remain calm and are tolernat to such things! JUst a cartoon of Muhammad Stirs up trouble? Man Belive me if you are American-Oriented its tough to have a good conversation with strangers dressed in Robes and that hood thing because they are so damn biassed i tried!

If Anti-American is right to the Muslims of My country (dunno about yours) then why isn't Islamic injustice right?

They are pretty funny, but then again the whole Japanese culture is funny to me as well. What is up with the P.C. crap? I take offense to alot of things that are said on these boards. I don't whine and say that it is racist. Look at how much garbage is flung at so called "Zionists". Nobody says nothing about it. If you are going to be the sheriff of political correctness you should be totally equal about doing it. It isn't like the post stated that Middle-Eastern peoples should be eradicated.

look who's talking? i noticed that most westerners, in any debate, when they find that their opinions are wrong and can't any more reasonable excuses , they start to make fun of others, it is sick , and you really need therapy. there automatically.

There is no war by the west against Islam. However, there is a war

As far as America 'earning' respect from anyone ... geeeze .... it should

It is useless to try to 'earn' respect from radical islamists - people who

AND drag everyone into their religion.

HeyDana, I'm not an American or a Westerner and my country which is, Indonesia consists of mainly muslims who are of Anti-American sentiment despite we are an American Ally. I May not be a westerner but i support all of America's Decisions even if it means turning my mansion into a temporary CP. From what i see Western countries seem to be much wealthier and live in prosperity in contrast to asia's Third-world nations including mine. Who are you to say that Westerners are foolish when China is boasting thy're weak Military! ( i mean i saw them in training man they suck! Besides My cousins are all Muslims! They like western music, Hiphop, rock aetc and mmy cousins like acdc and basically indonesia is American Oriented despite the above statement. Thx for not removing my childish statement

There are faults in every culture,every country,every place and everywhere .
the point is we r equal all of us and there are some that ruin it for others but that is why it is up to people with dignity and respect to set an example .
Instead of flaming each other in this forum i believe it would be wise just to aknowledge each others opinions and try to understand them from outside the box perspective.
As long as this sort of thing is happening here and around the world i believe there will never be peace. some sort of compromise might do the rival governments and beliefs good too. These are just some of my thoughts and i am not seeking a argument i am just stating my thoughts Because lets face it people this is what this site is about.

What I do not understand is one religion getting a free pass. I mean I surf these posts and threads and see jokes being made about Christians, Jews etc all the time. Yet when ever anyone makes a crack about Muslims, someone crys Racist. Man if we in here can not lighten up and discuss things and yes even laugh at ourselves and others(especially on here) then who, what, have we become. PC???? Heaven forbid (for those who believe in heaven)
As for me, I will never be PC and I guess that means I will continue to offend. If you do not want people making fun then stop doing basically funny things. I mean, come on, have you seen the videos they are talking about? Great entertainment! And watching all of your women walking around in 100 degree heat all wrapped up in cloth? Thats as good as the Japanese game shows or AMerican reality TV.

first of all i am a girl *mod edit*. second , if you are a real german , you should be ashamed of yourself and your country's stinking history, atleast arabs and muslims didn't slaughter 6 million jews (as jews claim!). third, germans didn't just genocide jews and others (even that westerners only mention jews and forget other many victims) but also made palestinians pay for their crimes. instead of establishing a jewish state in the middle of germany, westerners plotted with zionists and jews, and established a jewish state on palestinian land. if I were a german like you, I would've hid my face and imprison myself in my room instead of mocking others. when you analyse your attitude you'll find that your heart is full of hatred of others, I don't know why, may be because you feel guilty when you read about your country's crimes, so you try to hide your vulnerability by mocking other nations, religions and cultures . you badly need therapy , so don't wast your time and vist a shrink.
