Hey shadow88 did you hear the voice say in your edited recording say '25 hundreth' instead of '2500'?

thats a recording of a voice in the house, sounds very human but was digitised from static noise??



to me it sounds like... just 25 hundred (something something something)

sounds a bit like 'births a year',but maybe im not listening right

I hear 25 Hundred right step ( or stack ).

After listening to Shadow88's version, I can go back and hear it in Val's.....still can't make out much on the other files....
Shadow, can you isolate any thing on the others?

On his snippet I hear 2500th. And it seems it is either 2500th hit or 2500th something it.

This is why I never posted what I believe I heard as answers, so I wouldn't contaminate the works. I heard responses on several of them (as I stated in my text above).

Wow. I'm not sure how I missed this thread and just read most of it today (on and off). Seems things have really escalated.

Regarding the phone calls for the original owners, I'm not sure if you are still getting these periodically but if it does happen again, why not pretend you are the person they are seeking? Could be interesting. Of course, that's minor compared to what is going on now.

I will say that by reading this thread at one point I had a shiver that started at my head and slowly went down to me feet. That has never happened before. I've had involutary shudders on and off.

The other thing that has happened is a headache that came from listening to the recorded questions. Happens almost every time I get a little too close to occult type things. I won't be listening to those again.

well ok. before the 2500 i hear "there's" and after it sounds like "here"

"theres 2500 here". i dont know if its just me. Could there be hidden cash or dirty money which is the unfinished business?

the whole sound files seem to have hundreds of tiny inaudible whispers so i dont know.

of course the previous relatives who keep ringing you Valhall do seem to be quite persistent .....maybe it is about money???

My luck it means there's 2500 of them here. No wonder we keep running out of toilet paper.

Read your entire thread from start to finish and WOW - what a ghost story! Anyway, just listened to both files and I think the voice is saying:

there are 2500 worth here

or

there are 2500 gramms here

I'm surprised the voice sounds so clear on the recording. I was listening to it and my dog came in and starting barking at my laptop. It seems to freak him out.

Unless it is a Columbian coke dealer it might not be 2500 gramms here but 2500 grand here.

Val, I have listened to your recordings several times....

I believe I hear "Aye" in response to your first question.

Right after you ask for the name, I hear a faint whispery 'voice', that is diff from the 'background noise'. ( That background would be your reading that was radomized, right?)

I also hear other whispery sounds after the other questions, but they are a lower volume than the background sounds....even on the last one, where the response seems to be much stronger, I hear a lower whisper there too......is there any way that background could be removed? If it could be filtered out, the other 'responses' would probably stand out much better.

Does someone in your area have a recording studio? Maybe a radio or TV station could do something along those lines, or a local University with some high end computer equipment? (Oh, for some of that software they use on CSI !)

Correct, that would be from the white noise created by the randomization of my reading. I actually believe I hear "I am"....right at the time the volume jumps up. I'm so glad R had these and I have them up publically now. I'm getting confirmation on some of what I heard without telling you guys first.

This just happened!

Oh my gosh! Now we're having something almost every day! Bear just ran down the stairs and started barking at the front door (we're both upstairs). Then I heard some one knocking at the door, so I go down stairs, Bear is still standing there barking at the front door (which he does when some one shows up) and THERE IS NO ONE THERE! No one at the side door, no one at the front door, no car in the drive way.

Valhall just one thing, dont immediately jump to the paranormal explanation.

While obviously a lot of inexplicable things are happening, not all COULD be paranormal, just a sound/action that you personally cannot find the explanation (humans arent all knowing, all seeing), but has an unusual, logical reason.

However in your case........I find it amazing when all the facts, all the individual instances, are collated that they can ALL be natural, considering the elaborate nature of some.

Okay, this is what I did. I read from the main paragraph of page 21 of The Goblet of Fire. That's because that was the only page we found neatly folded in half the day the book kind of flew off the shelf. Again, this is not our book. Here are pics of the book:

My base recording was me reading:

This time when I used EVPmaker I set the randomization to the real small-sized time increments - which made the EVP sound much more like white noise and much less like human voice.

PS: have you tryed playing them backward? that sometimes gets results....but this EVP maker stuff could just be a waste of time

that isnt a first issue is it?? cant say ive read harry potter but that looks an old book and i thought harry potter only came out in the last 3 years


could this be somehting to do with it not the folded page?

Print 2000. It looks about 300 years old. Even the inside pages. Looks water damaged and the pages are very brittle.

P.S. Yes, it is an "American first edition. July, 2000".
