I don't/can't disagree with what you say, Freeborn. I think the majority of humanity are meant to be lead around by the nose.

Only speaking for myself, I tried to make a difference the only way I could. I was in Washington DC January 6th, 2021 and I voted my convictions in these past 3 elections. I have never followed the heard.

And yet here we are still standing and yet to be invaded for the past 1000 years.

Ile stick to history.

Also not my beloved English Channel, just a bastard of an obstacle to surmount, with 11 subs sinking whatever tried to cross the 20 miles of water.

You stick to hating and not being able to remember which side your bread is buttered.

On that note, its late, and you're repetitive, ill-informed, and nasty.

Night night.

But you are being invaded, and your government is facilitating it.

We are too. To the tune of around 20,000,000 illegals so far.

Brutally something.

But yet to inform us all where exactly Russia would get the manpower to invade, never mind the how of it all given their current predicament.

Also, do you really imagine Article 5 would not be triggered long before it got an invasion "farce" anywhere near the UK?

It's not Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge pal, its real life, and I'm really tired.

So once again i bid ye fair evening unless you can somehow answer the salient questions i and others have asked?

Stuff to do tomorrow you see, and Xmas is right around the corner.

I don't inform you of any such thing. That's the point of the whole bull$hit Russia, Russia, Russia debate. They don't have the manpower to overrun the whole of Europe. They don't even have the manpower to take on any NATO aligned nation. So what is their purpose in Ukraine? Self defense and preservation? The same desires as you? Yes! To halt the ever encroachment of a lying western advance, NATO, up to their front doorsteps! Self preservation. Yes!

Sleep well!

So that's not an answer as to how they would invade the UK, or with what.

But a mere deflection and off the crossbar.

And Russia are still very dangerous in Europe if left unchecked to get away with murder and invasion.

Now you're asking the questions. LoL

You reciprocate and then ile play if you dont mind, else you will need to wait till tomorrow because I'm a short dog walk away from my bed.

As to self-preservation, again, see pretty much the largest and wealthiest empire on Earth until it crumbled(Thats what they do you see) and.....again the last thousand years.

Good Night in 5-4-3-2-1(now i want a biscuit).

Considering how much of London and the surrounding area Russia owns/did own, or has a shared interest in, you might not be far wrong.

I thought you were going to bed?

I can't see anything being accomplished here, so I think I will say good night. Have a good night!

Nearly their big fella.

Just scooping up the last of my coffee cup and trying to find a couple of Co-codamol in the dark so i dont wake up with a big head.

I canny see any realistic answers to the question as to how, why, and with what, nether.

So good night(again) also.

PS: Don't forget your prayers to Mecca and Muhammad before you turn in.

Edit:

LoL

Im a protestant silly billy.

But good luck with the racist and religious nonsense and hatred.

I dont place much stock in organized religious practice if I'm honest bar lip service.

But if Russia invaded, I'm sure the majority of British Muslims worth their salt would take as much offense as the rest of the people of this nation.

Still not telling us how or with what all the same.....................because you can't.

How. By who? Russia can’t even keep arms shipments from reaching the Ukraine. And why wouldn’t NATO keep the English Channel safe for the UK?

I agree. Russia won't invade Great Britain. No point. Assumptions seem ridiculous.

But if, Britain launches missiles from their mainland. Expect a response.

Russia isn't interested in an invasion that would incur the wrath of the locals let alone world allies.

Kind regards,

Bally))))

Relax. The UK will be well defended for as long as it hosts American forces at their bases.

Russia would have to cross through several countries first, or go around them. France would likely be quite worried if the UK was invaded too, after all, they're the next door neighbours and they'd likely be next.

The UK may have a small military compared to the past, but they are highly trained and not really a push over. Anyone in the armed forces will probably agree to that.

Then there's the locals too...

It'd never happen.

No way Russia would even attempt invading the UK. They know they’d be fighting every NATO country including the US which has the most powerful military on the globe. It’s a guaranteed no win for Russia, now if the UK was left to its own devices I don’t think they’d fair as well.

If Russia ever did hit the UK it would have to be with nukes, which in turn would be a death sentence for Russia.

So you agree, Second Amendment like legislation would achieve very little other than arming the already notoriously violent British public.
But that's not really the topic of the thread.

The enemy within?
Yes, we need urgent action.
But I think the message has been sent, there seems to have been a subtle and slight change in policy....I'd be surprised if there isn't a gradual change. As I said before, the tide is turning.
If it doesn't change then I suspect what we saw this summer will prove to be a storm in a teacup compared to what happens in the future.
And they are still massively outnumbered.
Again, not really the topic of this thread.

The armed forces certainly need more funding and personell boost but the prediction ignores the fact we're an incredibly hard to invade island instead of directly connected landmass, have the best special forces in the world and far superior tech/means of defense and attack then Ukraine possesed.

It would be incredibly hard for any nation to launch a mass land invasion as jets regularly scrambled and intercept Russian aircraft prior to entering UK airspace in non-war scenarios.

Places like the Brecons where forces train are just plain horrible conditions as the constant damp cold is carries such a high risk of hypothermia for people from far colder but dryer countries (I've seen an endurance athlete from Norway get hypothermia in the middle of summer from it despite months of cold water training).

Then there's the whole allies. defensive pacts and general public being a mental bunch of hard bastards who regularly stop suprise terror attacks unarmed - if all else fails Milwall fans would take down any invader.

Considering the English Channel is one of the busiest and most significant waterways in the world.

And is a major global shipping route, with thousands of ships passing through it each year.

I tend to imagine NATO forces, along with the RAF and Royal Navy, would indeed keep the route safe and open.
