Don't be offended. I wrote the truth. The Western world has degraded very much, the rest of the civilized world understands this and creates adequate political and economic blocs without Western countries.

I’m not offended. We’ll always disagree and that’s OK.

I just don’t really consider North Korea part of the civilized world the same way Russia does. M

BRICS certainly is a different matter than your military relationships, and we’ll see how that goes.

But I was speaking more in terms of military capabilities. Even if Russia is teamed up with North Korea and Iran, missiles are about all the three have that really pose a battlefield threat. It’s why Russia resorts to nuclear threats all the time. They’ve struggled on the conventional battlefield.

The Western Petro Alliance will soon take ALL of Russia's oil and gas businesses and bankrupt the Russian Government ❗️❗️😎

Russia will disintegrate into mass anarchy and chaos ❗️❗️

Russia will be forced to a U.S. Dollar economy system ❗️❗️

Russia gold reserves will be confiscated ❗️❗️

You are right, we have different opinions. My opinion is that if the West considers any people uncivilized, then at best it is the result of colonial and pirate slave-owning thinking, and at worst it is primitive Nazism in its worst manifestation.

The current regime in Iran is hardly "civilised", either.

"The West does not have hypersonic weapons."

That is simply not true.
Enjoy your false sense of security.

Russia still struggles with air superiority, naval effectiveness, and ground forces.

Ummm...please...do tell...

Let us all know when the US has...ahem...air superiority...over anything more than goat herders...

Let us also know when the vaunted American naval super power...stops running into other ships...and underwater mountains...

Also...please also let us all know when the US actually wins a war...you do remember they were sent packing by those above mentioned goat herders...right...?

Also...let us know when the US ever faces any peer or near peer military's...being as they have a penchant of beating up on all these third and fourth world countries...like any school yard bully would...

Perhaps...also...you might consider an avatar name change...because your critical thinking skills have degraded to the point of negative status...

With all due respect...of course...I do miss the old...unindoctrinated you...
Could you revive that persona...cause this new version is like speaking to a Biden official...

We all know what it was.

An "experimental" version of an old IRBM that was shelved in 2018.

Russia and the west both have a dark colonial past.

But that doesn’t play a part into whether I view North Korea as civilized.

It’s a dictatorship, and I don’t know how anyone could try and make the argument it’s not. The people there are prisoners of their own state. Can North Koreans just decide to travel other places in the world? No.

I don’t see how you can see something as civil if a government won’t even allow its people to travel, much less interact with the outside world.

Russia doesn't have an operational aircraft carrier.

It lost it's flagship and a lot of it's Black Sea Fleet to a Country that has no Navy to speak of.

The US has quite a few Carrier groups.

Etc.

That would land me in prison so I will decline the opportunity.

You’re right, we haven’t had a near peer challenge in quite some time, so I suppose that would be hypothetical.

China is the only one that comes to mind, and hopefully we never have to find out.

I don’t know if Afghanistan and Iraq would be a good analogy though. Militarily speaking, we captured both in very short time (but to your point, vastly outmatched on their parts). And while we did lose the overall goals, the casualties from such aren’t really comparable with Russia/ukraine.

Vietnam would be a better comparison, but that would be going about half a century back.

In either event, I don’t think Russia would constantly need to threaten the use of nukes if they were fighting from a position of strength.

Like RT, you and I are likely never to agree here.

Depending on the context of the thread, I’m often very critical of the US and broader west. I’m only “indoctrinated” when I struggle to see how living in China or Russia would be better.

Ummm...Pfffttt...says the dude...from that quaint lil isle system...who just scrapped their entire navy...and entire helicopter force...

And you still can't fill a rather smallish stadium with your entire military...

If it weren't for Daddy Warbucks...across the pond...your little vassal state would have gone belly up long ago...

I'd like to see those wonderful carrier groups...after some Oreshnik salvo's...can you say..."You've sunk my battle ship"...?

Can you also say...sitting ducks...?

We know Russia has hypersonic MIRV missiles.
So do we.
We know you could swap out the warheads for nukes.
But we have those as well.
We know Russia could flatten multiple cities and kill millions across Europe/US-Yawn..its been that way since the cold war.

And you know we could launch nukes back at every Russian city before yours hit us-or after from our subs- so this is nothing new.

So go for it-Nuke everything if you want the same for all your cities.

So this was an 80,000-pound mid-range missile, 3 gen since 2011 back when they were not supposed to be testing/working on those types of missiles due to the agreement.

It wasn't hypersonic and holds 4 warheads of about 1800 pounds each. It can hold 4 tactical nukes so that is the real reason for it, but outside of that it is a waste of time and money. B2 can carry 80 500 lbs. bombs, or 16 2000 pounders, and all the way up to 16 B61 nukes and even 4200 pound bombs. This isn't even going into the MRIV style of each bomb too. One Bomb can be many with each part guided within a few feet of its intended target.

Russia has been playing WWI style war but with drones added, and now they want to play some kind of WWII V2 rocket-level war. I also need to add, WHERE IS THE ACCURACY!! They are still just randomly hitting things. Oh, they will warn a whole town...that just tells you they can't hit the side of a barn 20 feet away...lol

No, we haven't.

A couple of aging amphibious assault ships due for retirement and some decades old Chinooks.

So, no.

Can you hyperbole? How many do they have? This isn't some new thing, they have been working on the basic missile for 15 years and are bolstering look what we have. They have an 80,000 mid-range missile....OK
