How does it frightens me? I posted another interview Michael Cincoski. All you can do is belittle and make false accusations. Who is the one avoiding discussing the actual video.

It is frightening that something obviously balloons acting like balloons is thought to be proof of something other than balloons.

So now your proof is how a couple of dogs react... OK

I thought animals react to something that is uncanny. It’s been my experience hiking and snorkeling.

Anyway.

In addition to the below video, and everting else I posted..

It's hilarious how someone just entertaining the thought they may be something else scares and frightens you so, on a website with aliens and UFO forum no less.

Actually. I love nature, discovery, photography, videography, amateur astronomy. I love looking up at the night sky. Why would I be afraid of something that might be inevitable, and the right footage might bring me fortune?

How much money and time have you invested for studying the night sky?

I don't know why it frightens you to entertain the thought it might not be your balloons. Im not psychic as you seemingly are.

I find the subject entertaining and since I have no life at the moment this is an entertaining pastime, I have no commitment to any conclusion as of yet.

That's why I post here I enjoy the discussion of it all, sure all the 6 witnesses could be lying under oath to Congress, but then that brings the question of why? are they lying of thier own volition, or are they being told to lie and by whom?

And FWIW I look even more skeptically at any witness that has a podcast or is on the interview circuit on either side of the topic.

Just looking for answers to the topic Kemosabe no more no less, it's been made abundantly clear you think they are all floating balloons, or misidentifications and it has been duly noted.

In fact. I never made the connection. But I kinda view “ufo” photos or video if, damn wish that was my work. But I have only seen fakes, misinterpreting, or just “strange” lights.

So. Again. You have no actual evidence it’s something other than balloons. So you’re trapped into just making false accusations and belittling. So. You got nothing. Ok.

Seriously all bull# aside, if I had finances I'd probably be doing something else than posting on ATS.

I told you honestly this has become my entertainment and escape for a few hours from a pretty mundane and boring existence.

I didn't say, suggest, or infer you don't love nature, discovery, photography, videography, amateur astronomy. I'm glad you have the opportunity and location(s) to enjoy such activities.

My one goal before I croak is to get to an area where light pollution is non-existent. Hell, the last time the power went out in my area I went out on my small back deck and was amazed at how much more you see.

So what do you think this phenomenon is or isn't?

I'm genuinely interested, especially with your life experiences.

Why are people gas lighting the press hearing as something from the History Channel? There's so much new info, I'd say run with it...tons of rabbit holes to go down.

The following have been confirmed:
Biologics
Non human intelligence
Bases and/or ships hiding in oceans and deepest lakes
Multiple locations in the ocean are known
Crash retrieval
People getting sick from exposure/contact
Threatening whistleblowers
No doubt about crash retreival, but what crashed? We in the public don't know.

If you think the rest of that list is confirmed, you have low standards of evidence to form a belief that anything on your list has been confirmed, except crash retreival. The congressman even poked at Elizondo for saying he couldn't talk about crash retreival, when he said "you can't talk about fight club, but what if there's no fight club to talk about", but anyway I have no doubt crash retreival has been a thing, not that anybody in that hearing provided any real confirmation.

I've seen no confirmation of anything on your list, but the only thing I have no skepticism about is crash retreival, and probably threatening whistleblowers, but Ed Snowden was a real whistleblower.

Some of these guys in the UFO circus I don't think are real whistleblowers, like Elizondo and Grusch. They faced none of the consequences that Snowden did for real whistleblowing, and neither one is credible for various reasons. Grush may be telling the truth that a friend of a friend told him stories which he believes, but he even admits he never saw this stuff you're talking about himself. He's not the only one who heard such stories.

I don't see us having transparency on the UFO topic. At least some of what is flying around is secret stuff from the US, and because it's secret, there's no incentive to have any transparency about that.

The admiral was talking about the "gofast video", but it wasn't until nearly the end of the hearing that he mentioned that skeptics think it might just be a balloon. Well, nobody has identified it as a balloon, but the skeptics have proven the performance characteristics are no different from a balloon, and one skeptic thinks it might actually be a bird instead of a balloon.

So then the admiral says even if that one is debunked as a balloon, there are lots more videos that haven't been released. He's probably right about that, but who is to say the other videos aren't also blown out of proportion like the "gofast" video?

Gold also barely touched on the misperception issue, explaining that some UFOs are probably misperceptions (The gofast video does look like it's going fast, but, that's an optical illusion, or misperception). I think he said most of them in fact, but then there is some residual amount that can't be explained as misperceptions. Maybe so but I agree with Gold we need better data.

Anyway I don't really see the point of the hearings. As Greenewald said, none of those 4 people have anything to do with over-classification except to say it's a problem. There was nobody there who could do anything about the over-classification problem. So I'd be very surprised if anything changes regarding transparency.

One of the few things I got out of the hearing, was when they read off the list of shapes of UFOs, which was redacted in this document that Kohn Greenewals was talking about as an example of over-classification:

But that's no big help, because everybody familiar with this topic already has a pretty good idea of what kinds of shapes of UFOs have been reported.

Like, I JOKED on the first page of the thread I expected the CEOs of Lockheed and Raytheon to fly in with their reversed-engineered UAPs while bringing an NHI body...

but some thought I was bought COMPLETELY in when I was just posting and asking questions

This is the process America has and not the one we deserve, but it's all we have, no doubt it's severely dysfunctional especially if you've been plugged into the topic most of this seems like entry-level UFO chit. With our government being less informed than the enthusiasts on one end and our military and other departments trying to hide chit and cover thier azzes on the other. There's no way around this there is no shortcut. Let's face it a UAP could land at the White House and NH biologics could knock on the door asking for Joe and a healthy percentage would think it's CGI or OMB is trying to seize power permanently

However, as I was reading elsewhere there has to be a chain of questions asked to be followed up on, much of last year's revelations were no doubt revealed in SCIFs or denied, dismissed, or deflected.

or thats the story...

It is a process nothing government-related moves fast, if this is something new the Congresspeople are trying to get info and see if they can exploit the knowledge politically others may be more genuine others may not.

NGL ATS has become so skeptical I didn't post 1/2 of what I found elsewhere like I reiterated over and over Im about the discussion. I was looking forward to seeing what some long-time members thought, instead... if you think it's all bullchit thats your prerogative, though why peruse a nondescript message board just to debunk a few posts?

Especially with shakey AF evidence after accusations the other side has shakey AF evidence.

It's the pure definition of trolling .....

Respectfully I don't believe the fairy and fae folk BS but I don't go in those forums that are here and chit all over the posters who do.

Normally I wouldn't give a fiddler's f---. but I wanted to really discuss this topic and hash it out, like ATS used to.

It was swamp gas or miss identification of Jupiter or the moonlight reflecting on the desert sands of Iraq

So? You want to go on trying to solve UAP’s with crapy gunnery footage. How’s that working for you?

Biden and Trudeau shot down 4 UFOs last year. And revealed this to the public. Congress should demand pieces of the wreckage be brought to the hearing... If they are really serious.

Huh. Just realized a member that has made the rounds asking for physical evidence. Not more hearsay.

Of course, even the novice UFO/UAP follower wants physical evidence, again I thought ATS had moved beyond the basics...

You still didn't answer...and seriously Im really want to know your thoughts

What do you think this phenomenon is or isn't?

If it's not real then what's the motivation for the 6 Congressional witnesses to lie?

Map it out in a few sentences or point me to the source that is closest to your actual thoughts.

Right now you are skeptical, as is most of the GP. While Im less skeptical there's still plenty of doubt in my mind.

So why the political kabuki theater?

What's the catch-all ATS trope "this is just a distraction" fair enough... from what?

Is TPTB being nervous about Epstein or Diddy's information? a theory thats been floated here in this thread

Are they so nervous that they are sending out former Military and civilian administrators and news journalists to testify about something that doesn't exist?

Thats a helluva story in itself, we know there's corroborative evidence the Epstein story was squashed by ABC News New York in 2012.

LOL, or that's one theory that has been bandied about here on ATS and elsewhere.

Honestly, as I stated a few times in the thread, I think we are speaking a different language, I'm looking at this like a skeptical investigating journalist who has a story and is looking for supporting or corroborative evidence to see if the story has legs.

While it seems you are approaching this as the Attorney General needing absolute physical evidence to decide if this warrants a Grand Jury proceeding.

Both approaches can exist in real-world scenarios, and here on ATS. It wouldn't be the first time Ive adjusted my opinion based on information gleaned from the board. So I have an open mind here...

Looking back I can think of 3 fairly major topics Ive changed my mind on directly related to EVIDENCE presented here on ATS. Hell after 20-plus years there are probably more.

Regardless thanks for the conversation and thank you for your service...

Pentagon UAP office to testify before US Senate | NewsNation Live

(NewsNation) — The Pentagon director overseeing unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) analysis will testify before lawmakers Tuesday.

The Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities will hear from the director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (ARRO) at 3:15 p.m. ET.

NewsNation will stream the hearing live here.

UFO debris in Canada connected to weather monitoring company
Lawmakers are expected to ask ARRO Director Jon Kosloski to divulge how much the United States knows about reported unidentified object sightings.

The questioning comes after ARRO acknowledged hundreds of unexplained UAP sightings and reports, sparking potential national security concerns among lawmakers.

Tuesday’s testimony could provide answers about what many once considered science fiction.

What is the UAP hearing about?
Kosloski will go in front of senators in closed- and open-door hearings to talk about his agency’s investigations of reported UAP sightings.

Among those investigative efforts is a new technology called “gremlin” that the Defense Department deploys to track and detect UAPs.

They resolved 118 cases during the reporting period, concluding that each sighting was of a common object.

Seventy percent were balloons, 16% were unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and less than 15% combined were birds, satellites or aircraft.

That may explain one of them, and this very likely explains another one that was shot down at a cost of about $900,000 worth of missiles, plus the cost of the mission that US taxpayers paid for.

Did the Pentagon Shoot Down a Harmless Ham Radio Balloon?

Purchased for less than $15 and operated by the ham radio hobbyist group Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade, a silvery, 32-inch-wide pico balloon called “K9YO-15” was launched from a nature preserve north of Chicago in October 2022. It dangled a 10-gram (0.35-ounce) payload that included a radio tracker, a solar panel and a long antenna wire. Some 123 days later, on February 11, 2023, K9YO-15 was on its seventh circumnavigation of the globe, its hobbyist operators say, when they lost contact with the pico balloon near Alaska’s border with the Yukon. This was the same day that a U.S. F-22 fighter jet shot down a UFO using a nearly half-million-dollar Sidewinder missile in the same general vicinity. K9YO-15 has not been heard from since.
Actually, using two nearly half-million-dollar Sidewinder missiles, because the first one missed.

The wreckage from that would be so tiny it would be a small miracle if they ever found it in the terrain where it fell.

Well, now you don't have to ask for an opinion on two of them that were shot down. This information is not opinion or thoughts, it's reality. This doesn't mean I think all UAP are balloons, but, a fair number are. Again, Gofast was an example UAP in the hearings and there's no evidence to say that wasn't also a balloon, it behaved much like a balloon would behave.

Gimbal video wasn't a balloon because if its thermal signature, but the very name "Gimbal" indicates the pentagon is aware the acrobatic illusion results from the gimbal mechanism in the camera pod, and not from any craft performing acrobatic feats.

I thought you were smarter than this, maybe I am wrong. Sure, the USAF dubiously fails at misidentifying aerial threats, including ET vehicles, with a shoot first and be embarrassed later policy. All that hubaloo about nothing.

Let me spell it out:

Claims of engagement with balloons are red herrings. Planted and misleading information because the masses are stupid enough to believe it.

One Chinese weapons platform hovered over the USA for 5 days, embarrassing the Biden Administration and the Commander-In-Chief. He overcompensated for his incompetence and embarrassment, by ordering at least 5 things shot down...supposedly all of them man-made and civilian in nature. Let's hope we can avoid Biden starting WWIII before he leaves office in 60 days.

What's your explanation of why the ham radio balloon circled the entire earth 7 times, working perfectly, but suddenly stopped transmitting at exactly the moment the US shot down a "UFO" with nearly a million dollars worth of missiles, that was in the same location as the $15 balloon?

If your explanation is that's just a coincidence, you may want to give it some more thought, because it doesn't seem a very likely coincidence. It seems much more likely they actually shot down the balloon. Actually they shot down at least 2 balloons, the one I mentioned, and the Chinese "spy balloon" WeMustCare mentioned. They recovered the wreckage from that and there are pictures of it. The other one WeMustCare mentioned was for weather monitoring apparently, and guess what's used a lot for monitoring weather? Weather balloons.

Calling me stupid does nothing to prove your claim that's not what happened. There's plenty of evidence that's what happened, none of which you've debunked. Now if you can debunk the evidence, I'm listening, but just saying you don't believe it or think it's a coincidence isn't a debunk.

Next you'll be trying to convince me the so-called "acorn" UFO or UAP that was in the news wasn't a batman balloon? Well I won't believe you, because the picture sure looks like a batman balloon to me. Does this UFO look like a batman balloon or not?

So alien beings just happen to create a spacecraft with the exact same design as the Batman balloon as shown?

Balloon vendors recognized it as a batman balloon within about an hour after the image was posted on the internet.

Chris Mellon's kick off for TTSA included a mylar balloon in the shape of #1! But nobody shot that one or the batman balloon down. Though Mellon's credibility was shot down, rather than the balloon.

That event seems consistent with your claim someone is gaslighting us, since Mellon showed that balloon photo when talking about Fravor's tic-tac sighting defying the laws of physics. What Fravor saw wasn't any kind of balloon, but unfortunately he didn't flick the switch on his helmet to turn his camera on, so there's no photo or video of what he saw. His wingman Deitrich said if she had it to do over again, they would have taken some imagery of the UFO. So Chris Mellon is feeding us BS by showing us a photo of a balloon he says can defy the laws of physics, but I really am not seeing the BS in the balloons shot down stories we have just discussed in this thread.
