it's posts like this that make me think you are a bot, or at the very least, not a serious poster. You seem to not understand there is a difference between folks on vacation, and folks migrating to a new land. I assure you, there is a difference, you should first, fix that part of your understanding, and only then, speak on this topic, to not follow that order, will only make you look as foolish as this post does. I'm looking our for you sport.

I'm also thinking this as his posts tend to drift off into zero sense at times. How does one suggest that they can take care of 5000 tourist that spend 1000s there compared to 5000 illegals that will need 100% support from the Government for everything, and not for a week or two, but for their whole lives.

People who are hiding from the government, off the radar and undocumented, get lifelong government support?

And you say I make zero sense at times!

LOL.

Once again, the thrust of your argument was the assumption that migrants across lack of control at the Southern border are the a major source of the US drug problems and that they are/were criminalsall the people crossing don't have to be criminals in order for the lack of control to be worsening drugs, crime, and terrorism without being the exclusive cause.
FIFY.
A big part of the drug problem are the users.

You also know that if you wrangled things so the crooks couldn't make any real money out of it, like if you gave affordable clean drugs to addicts under medical prescription and supervision, then the crims wouldn't make all that money and the illegal supply lines would dry up as they went broke, or were arrested. You might even get some people to kick the habit who would not do so otherwise.

Such a thing might work with all the controls you mention.

The state of Oregon just recriminalized drugs after making possession for personal use a misdemeanor three and a half years ago. They did not offer any supervision or require a prescription and the drugs were only obtainable at the street price.

It may be the forces of ethnofascism which wanted to keep drugs dangerous.

People who are desperately fleeing poverty are the most like those who formed the various totalitarian movements of the late 19th and early 20th century. The Nazis and Italian Fascists were started by unemployed WW1 veterans.

It is at least a possibility which should be considered that the reason some of the newcomers' home countries are failing is that fascistic gangs may have tried to hook some of their own people on drugs in order to get them out of the way. I have heard it said the attitude can be "the nail which sticks up gets hammered."

...fascism, properly understood, is not a phenomenon of the right at all. Instead, it is, and always has been, a phenomenon of the left. This fact-an inconvenient truth if there ever was one-is obscured in our time by the equally mistaken belief that fascism and communism are opposites.

What Does Fascism Really Mean?

Liberal Fascism is the title of a book, not a real political ideology:

Liberal Fascism.

Goldberg, the author of the book in January 2022 stated in 'The Dispatch' in an article titled "What I Got Wrong About Fascism", that: "there's one important claim that has been rendered utterly wrong. I argued that, contrary to generations of left-wing fearmongering and slander about the right's fascist tendencies, the modern American right was simply immune to the fascist temptation chiefly because it was too dogmatically committed to the Founders, to constitutionalism, and to classical liberalism generally. Almost 13 years to the day after publication, Donald Trump proved me wrong."

So, it is by fraud and identity theft, not government policy.

Perhaps it would be reasonable that if they expel some fraudsters, that they expel all convicted fraudsters?

While you're at it, consider looking up the platform of the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Regarding Goldberg's comment, we have a choice between a candidate who may, according to some, cooperate with fascism and a candidate who wants to spread fascism to the inner city as well as importing revolutionaries by the million.

How can people claim they must love our way of life if they are coming here? It is equally possible they love our material wealth and want to come here to have a revolution and redistribute it to themselves.

They get plenty of help from insider authorities. ☠️

Check out government sponsored fraud. Use examples that are relevant, not like your above citations that are not immigration related.

They work under the table for less than what the job should pay, so no tax is paid to the state and fed Government, and taking jobs from Americans. They fill up Emer Rooms and use them as their medical offices. Their kids go to school and get the social programs that poor kids get.

The government spends about 150 billion per year, now with 10s of millions more that could easily double.

Are we talking about illegal aliens? This has been the modus operandi of the left to just make whatever up and then say it is fact. When Pelosi was asked many times about how weak Trump's impeachment was, she said she didn't care, and all that mattered was they impeached him. This is the same...normal operations for 100% businesses, but a NYC jury got a chance to hit back at OMB. The crime was it should never have gone to trial.

BTW what fraud was Trump convicted of? None?...oops

Wikipedia is collaborative and will accept criticism and editing by anyone, provided the facts and sources check-out according to the collaborative community. Contributors do not have to identify their political preferences before they can add or edit articles. It's not a left-wing thing.

Wikipedia:FAQ/Contributing

But surely if you doubt the sources that I posted, you could at least counter with sources that you believe credible?

The problem with many today is that they doubt everything, don't think critically and challenge their own beliefs, and get all caught up in emotional appeals that aren't even rational (their opinions are as reasonable as the plot-lines of any of the 'Sharknado' films).

You wont convince me of your opinion unless you can dissect it rationally and source support for factual components.

Not quite sure how the government knows how to pay undocumented people, do they just roll up and say "You don't know me, but I need some money, please"?

... but it appears to me to actually be a list of services for registered immigrants or citizens.

And really, "General Assistance"? It's like you are clutching at straws to fill up a list.

Apparently, it is an American city and has more than double the number of American citizens there than any other American city.
