Well, the problem with that train of thought is that this multi-cultural community that is in unity claims they have persecution issues and that needs to be addressed.

One of the reasons given for migrants to arrive here, is they claim they are persecuted in their homeland.

If they feel persecuted in The UK, then maybe they should seek refuge in another country where they feel safe. I am using their reasoning.

Take what?

The rule of law like everyone else?

Why should they not submit to such?

Everybody has to do that.

There is no mystery or great expectations, simply a fact of life.

They are a community who already feel persecuted by police. It does not look good.

The git that set fire to the bus was a white chav.

The Muslim Councillor guy tried to stop the rioters

Kudos to him.

There is hope after all.

Nobody seems to understand their reasoning.

If you could simply tell us all how they feel persecuted by the Police that may clear matters up?

What is it Police are doing to them that they are not doing to anyone else?

And FYI I'm not the biggest fan of Police.

But in this instance, i fail to see the persecution quintessentone.

The Police reacted when the Social Services got grief.

Not before, so no Police persecution.

Could that be because authorities were just doing their jobs for once?

And actually investigating a claim or incident as opposed to ignoring them and/or sweeping them under the carpet?

They should be happy social services done the job for once by my guess.

Given their track record.

Know what i mean, dammed if they do, and dammed if they dont.

Some people really need to pick a side.

And anybody not wanting social work to do their job.

Should probably have to offer up a good reason as to why.

I deal with social workers a lot.

On the whole they are good folk.

Mostly.

When they aren't...well, that's off the scale.

Very under resourced though.

To be persecuted, yes.

Probably most of us, at one point or another.

And to some degree.

Life being what it is.

I mind this one time at band camp, in a previous life, we were doing shall we say illicit substances with a social worker.

Who proceeded to strip naked, lie on the carpet, and walk along the wall, thinking it was the ceiling.

Kicker was the next day she was off out doing her job taking kids away from the likes of alcoholics and junkies.

I mean talk about hypocritical???!!!

I've got pals that are social workers carpy2, fact is you get good and bad sorts in all walks of life.
