Is already confirmed that Trump detail has been asking for extra manpower for months and no been listened, is soo much the secret service can do with what they have.

I must admit, after hearing this last night, and hearing he was ok, I later thought that it was either a false flag attack or a failed attempt to cause a "franz ferdinand" effect by the extremes of either party leading to a civil war.

My only question is why didn't secret service do anything? They had the shooter in their sights, they knew he was there, they waited for him to fire, and it was nearly the only rooftop in the area with a clear line of fire. Something screams intelligence community lackey. Clearly Trump knew nothing about this, and security is thin, but this was a major f-up.

I hope to God it was just some lone nut, but it's scary to think this was so damn easy.

This was not false flag plain and simple, you can spin anyway you can, two wounded one dead and Trump shot to the ear, is not false flag it was a miss.

No conspiracy hear beside the one that shows that the powers than be do not want Trump near the white house.

Exactly!

Trump, is and always will be a DC outsider.
He is being treated like an outsider, because he is not, a career politican.

Remember, we got Trump because of dems under o'buma.

Drain that swamp, and make America, America again.

Then put me straight! You tell me how many CIA, FBI, Secret service and Police are used when Biden appears anywhere? Then tell me how many Trump has to protect him and I'll tell you now, minimal compared to Biden. Protection agents are not gods, they are not all seeing and the numbers DO matter because you can't cover all scenarios.

Yes, the sitting POTUS is going to have more protection than anyone. Of course.

But protection details are comprised based on the Threat Assessment.

You have a form POTUS, the current R nominee, and a highly polarized and proven violent opposition.

There is no reasonable explanation to have inadequate resources in place.

For example :

I did an event in nowhere Georgia for Jimmy Carter to attend a little church service after a tornado back in like 2007.

The security foot print was huge. More than 20 SS agents, at least 100 cops, 5 dog teams, and 5 teams of military bomb techs.

Scale that up to a Trump rally. This was a huge security failure with no justification.

I'd hate to think the Secret Service was trying to give the shooter the opportunity .

If I could just see what this Secret Service Sniper is seeing I could make an accurate assessment but the guy clearly saw the shooter just before . The Secret Service guy seemed legit surprised , the way he looked over his scope to make sure he was seeing what he's seeing .

My guess is the Shooter was climbing up the back side of a slanted roof so the Secret service guy couldn't fully visualize the actual target until the guy came over the other side of the roof started shooting and he saw the muzzle flash or smoke .

I will retract the statement of the additional manpower, the head of the secret service posted to media that they did not ask for extra manpower for Trump detail.

This was a amateur shooter snipper wants to be, he was spotted minutes before he started shooting by by standers and rally attendees, the witnesses have spoken and said they told the secret service and the police that it was a shooter in one of the rooftop and they did nothing until the shoots were fire.

The whole incident was a massive failure of the secret service.

By the accounts of the witness in the ground it seems it was a massive failure from the secret service to protect Trump, many witnesses scream to the police and secret service that it was a man with a rifle on the rooftop, way before he started shooting.

I've seen the eyewitness accounts . Yes no doubt the Secret Service drop the ball on this one .

Witnesses said they were pointing and trying to get attention to the shooter 2-3 minutes before the first shot.

I get that time dilation happens and everything is confusing in the moment. I could very well be wrong. But it doesn't discount the fact it was the only clear vantage point.

Again, I hope I'm wrong about this. I pray that we're still on the up and up as a nation.

I'd be very leery of all the "security experts" that will pop up over the following days and weeks.

Will Geddes has over 30 years in the personal security industry , if that doesn't make his opinion valid not sure what does.

With over 30 years experience in the Specialist Security sector, Will has consulted clients across the world on a wide-diversity of risk and threat related matters, personally operating and working within developed, emerging and hostile countries across the world.

Leading his team of experts, many drawn from former Special & Elite Military Forces, Government, Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies, the sheer diversity of projects involved have varied from dealing with extortions and blackmails to high-risk protection projects, counter terrorism, intelligence gathering to multi-jurisdictional investigations and pursuits of complex frauds.

Questions have to be asked how a kid with a rifle can take shots from a roof at Trump in view of Secret Service snipers.

Questions do have to be asked, because this looks like an organised hit with indide help.

Right now, we as a nation are in the eyes of the international community, leaders all around the world friend or foes are looking and realizing how bad things are going in the US when with the best protection in the world a former president and presidential candidate was soo easily targeted.

Our nation has been infiltrated by hundreds of thousands of illegals and many are from countries that sponsor terrorism and are here under their own agendas, they are watching I am sure and making notes of how secure America really is.

We are failing on security every American should be very worry.

The Praetorian Guard was an elite unit of the Imperial Roman army that served as personal bodyguards and intelligence agents for the Roman emperors. During the Roman Republic, the Praetorian Guards were escorts for high-ranking political officials and were bodyguards for the senior officers of the Roman legions

The Secret Service are the Modern Praetorian Guard . They don't just protect the President they also control their every movement .

Someone let this guy slip through the cracks . Trump has got to be looking in all directions at this point wondering who he can Trust.

I though Trump had his own private security beside the secret service, I think I read that some where a while back when he was President.

You ain't whistlin' Dixie. This nation is too big for centralized power. We need to give more authority to local regions. The system is already in place, we just need to cut down bureaucratic influence.

Trump certainly has the money for Private Security and that would be a smart move on his part . Though I don't see the Secret Service getting along with any outside Security help at all.

Someone pointed out earlier the current Director of the Secret Service is some lady that did security for Pepsi . I've no problem with her being female but it's the lack of Military/Special operations experience that is troubling to me .

The one that promised that she will make the secret service 30% female?, she is on her own agenda, that is for sure, having more females is her priority no the security of the people they are protecting.

It was a major failure by the Secret Service.

How do you let a guy with a rifle get onto an elevated position 152 yards from a protectee?

Let's look at who's in charge of the SS

Oh look, she was security for Pepsi before her current position.

Another highly qualified DEI hire.

what on earth this lady worked for pepsi how does that qualify her to do director of the secret service. i have so many questions i thought secret service is a law enforcement branch of the treasury or something like don't they investigate counterfeit money too? am i wrong?

i apparently wrongly assumed the director of the secret service would have some kind of law enforcement background. wow.

diversity hire why? because she's a woman? i think if it was just a diversity hire they could have found a woman who had a law enforcement background not some random soda slinger?

Political position, maybe she supplied Pertusi with enough free pepsi for her personal bar selection.

The democrats' appointees since they took office are nothing short of a darn joke to the nation.
