planning a break in and covering it up is not a public act, it is a private criminal act.
that's what the missing 18 1/2 minutes. it wasn't anything to do with executive privilege, national security of the country, or anything official concerning the country.

Seems to me the system failed.

Like the system failed when Joe got off the hook when he had the classified documents in his garage?

The Nixon tapes would be shielded , today

Yeah if he was a Democrat.

No, because of this brand spankin new opinion from John Roberts, and his merry band of conservatives Christian Nationalists, introduced new rules of evidence especially for Donald Trump. Earlier this last month they did the same thing for Justices Thomas and Alito, shielding themselves from bribery charges.

Indeed, and the cabal's hollow criticism of Donald Trump
only serves to point back at them due to the criminal acts that
they themselves have been at ease with for decades.

And increasingly out of whack thinking by them.
They are lock step with these hysterics too.
They are all lined up like human centipede in these threads.

Another great thing about Chief Robert’s opinion was when he called out the lower courts, judges, DA’s and the ridiculous lawfare.

"Despite the unprecedented nature of this case, the significant constitutional questions that it raises, its expedited treatment in the lower courts and in this Court, the lack of factual analysis in the lower courts, and the lack of briefing on how to categorize the conduct alleged, the principal dissent would go ahead and declare all of it unofficial.”

Robert’s isn’t my favorite either but he brings it on occasion. 💪

It was the NIXON TAPES that had evidence of his malfeasance. Without those tapes, there was no case against Richard Nixon. It was what was on those tapes that led to his resignation.

SCOTUS made him produce them.
The system worked.
Why are you crying about Nixon getting justice?
Should they have hanged him?

He did this time.

It should be that common sense would be enough for
most people, but after seeing Bragg bootstrap a potential
misdemeanor for which the statue of limitations had expired
to a felony...well rest assured we know that they were lacking
in any factual analysis.

Why is the DA suddenly being so accommodating to the Trump legal defense?

a reply to: Dandandat3
Much of the evidence will be considered inadmissible because it was from official presidential duties which Bragg used in case, Trump defense team is making that argument.

In their filing, defense attorneys argued that Manhattan prosecutors had placed “highly prejudicial emphasis on official-acts evidence,” including Trump’s social media posts and witness testimony about Oval Office meetings.

Braggs actions seem to indicate he agrees

I understand the argument the Trump Defense is making.

What I was questioning is why all of a sudden the DA and Judge are willing to accommodate Trump's Defense. They have spent the last year bending and braking the justice system in order to bring the felony case and get the guilty verdict they wanted. They could have continued that behavior, disregarded the Defense and pass the sentence. Even if wrong, just like with the entire case, they would have gotten their news story.

This is especially true given the fact that last night Joe Biden asked the world, including the DA and Judge to desent on the SCOTUS ruling.

Clearly the DA and Judge are no longer bending over backwards for the Biden campaign.

NIXON was not caught in a official lawful act as president.

What?
The Nixon tapes would be shielded, today, from Congressional scrutiny. According to this SCOTUS opinion, Nixon would never have been impeached, the public never would have found out about Watergate, and Nixon would not have had to resign.

According to this opinion, Trump's conversation with Zelinski, soliciting a bribe, would not have been allowed to be leaked to Congress by a whistleblower, because of this new presidential absolute immunity. None of the White House staff would have been subpoenaed by the Jan 6th Committee, and Trump phone call asking for 21K votes from Gov Raffensperger would have been shielded. Neither of Trump's constitutional impeachments would have happened.

It’s absolutely mind blowing to how blind they are to what’s actually happened here… all because it benefits Trump.

Who is currently in office again?

Who has been given a pass be it "no reasonable prosecutor" or a doddering old man?

Do you hear yourself?

Question.

Are you this stupid or think that folks here are this stupid?

That’s the crazy thing about it, seems the Supreme Court has cut off the nose to spite the face… all in an attempt to protect their precious MAGA ideology.

This ruling greatly benefits Donald Trump today… but no reason a democratic President won’t abuse this ruling to there own advantage in the future.

It gives the US Military the ability to suppress the insurrection. How do you think they are going to quell it? Ask nicely?
There is nothing that says the US military cannot kill anyone. Nothing. It is a very vaguely created article which I believe gives just a little too much power to a President.

This is why when it was considered during the George Floyd Riots Trump decided not to invoke and as he should sent the responsibility to the states.

Because they now see after Biden’s self immolation last Thursday, that Trump is going to win.

They figure they better reverse course or at least tone it down on their illegal actions or they might find themselves on trial after Trump wins.

Well Biden would have to order it, then pardon who ever does it afterwards… lol.

It does appear that way.

Though being on trial for their illegal action may not be, or be the only, issue they are considering. It's even likly that Trump will not harpoon his presidency by rehashing the past.

These guys might be worried what the left will do to them if they are seen as a significant contributing factor to Trump's win. They need to keep their liberal job prospects open.

It has nothing to do with who wins or loses the election… it’s about the fact that no one person should be above the law like this.

We all know how the old Democrat saying goes don't we.

"The more we criticize and emphasize a point, the more likely we are or will be doing the same thing" 😀

Will Biden resist the temptations of being a dictator? 🥳️⚠️

Biden is in deep, his only card is dementia.

Otherwise, he could be tried for many crimes,
treason, espionage, etc.

In many ways he has committed the perfect crimes,
this is why I suspect he will not ever appear too
competent again.

Not that he could....lol.

Who will carry out dictator biden's orders?

Millie has retired to a secret island.

The secretary of defense is MIA frequently.

His secretary of State is hiding from Netanyahu and Hamas.

His attorney general has made one biden family member a convicted felon.

Homeland security mayorcas is too busy rolling out to red carpet for people to come in illegally

Maybe Joe's Barber and Doctor will follow his orders?
