Your point? Are you a big fan of the Deep State? I hope not, because if Donald Trump is elected and the Republicans enact their Project 2025 agenda, civil servant positions will become political appointments, depending on a worker's political leanings.

Republic means a government of the "public". America is a self-governing republic, in which the power of the government is derived from The People.

This idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except the sovereign people, is still the newest and the most unique idea in all the long history of man’s relation to man.
Ronald Reagan

But like I said earlier in this thread, the American Experiment is over. RIP American Experiment

You really believe anything you just wrote? Do you know who the Heritage Foundation is? Trump has absolutely nothing to do with this ORG. They’re more akin to an extreme right fantasy wish list than anything else.

Nice hyperbole though

No, sook, Agenda 2025 is not a Republican Party “thing”. 🙄

I told her the same thing the other day, this is the problem. These people are so far gone on socialist propaganda. By the way Sook are you aware hatch act?

Really? Which part of the 4 pillars of Project 2025 do you think Trump is opposed to? Why would Trump oppose project 2025, when it fulfils all HIS wettest dream, plus it's what his followers want. Or, don't you want the America that Project 2025 promises to create? I think you do.

Here's how much Trump took cues from The Heritage Foundation before, when he was President:

Examples of some of the most notable policy recommendations and their adoption or implementation by the Trump administration include:
Leaving the Paris Climate Accord: In August 2017, Trump announced the U.S. was ending its funding and membership in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
Repealing Net Neutrality: In December 2017, Trump’s Federal Communications Commission chairman proposed ending the 2015 network neutrality rules.
Reshaping National Monuments: Heritage’s recommendation to prohibit Land Acquisition (Cap and Reduce the Size of the Federal Estate) was adopted by Trump when he issued two executive orders effectively shrinking the size of national monuments in Utah.
Reinstating the Mexico City Policy: This executive order prevents taxpayer money from funding international groups involved in abortion and ending funding to the United Nations Population fund. On Jan. 23, 2017, in his first pro-life action, Trump signed an executive order today reinstating the Mexico City Policy.
Increasing Military Spending: Trump’s budget calls for a $54 billion increase in military spending to improve capacity, capability, and readiness of America’s armed forces.
Reforming Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF): The Trump administration adopted and is in favor of strengthening existing work requirements in order to receive benefits.
Allowing Development of Natural Resources: The Trump administration opened off-shore drilling and on federal lands. Executive Order 13783 directed Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to commence federal land coal leasing activities.
Reforming Government Agencies: Trump tasked each of his Cabinet secretaries to prepare detailed plans on how they propose to reduce the scope and size of their respective departments while streamlining services and ensuring each department runs more efficiently and handles tax dollars appropriately.
Withdrawing from UNESCO: In October 2017, Trump announced he was putting an end to U.S. membership in the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

www.heritage.org...

Nah, a vote for Trump is a vote for Project 2025.

And, what the heck's rattling around in your head that compels you ask me about the Hatch Act, an "Act" that the Trump Administration mocked, abused and flaunted for 4 years?

That’s a pretty nice list there.

I don’t see a bad thing about any of them.

Thank you for confirming that a vote for Trump is a vote for Project 2025. It's the political platform that a majority of Trump's $$$ donors $$$ support.

doing away with the idiocy the left has brought on us all is the #1 priority. There is a lot of clean up to do, and I'd wager it will make you just as angry, or perhaps even angrier than we were these past 3.5 years. So for you, I have this advice. Suck it up buttercup.

…and your party supports a Marxist playbook and communist manifesto, admittedly or not. You’re good with a facsist and tyrannical autocracy for government, yes? Gotta love your attempts at fear mongering👍

I already told you that the American Experiment is dead. This SCOTUS court has shown it's hand, so they can stop gaslighting us now.

This idea that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power except the sovereign people, is still the newest and the most unique idea in all the long history of man’s relation to man.
Ronald Reagan

By-by Miss American Pie.

The power has shifted from The People, and the American Dream "Of the People, For the People, By the People" and "Power to the People" is dead. That power has shifted, and the Judicial Branch has snatched it, and they're holding the Executive Office in their clutches, ostensibly controlling it too. Don't believe me. Just look at the 2 idiots that TPTB have given us to lead our country! Really? They're mocking us!

Suck it up Buttercup!

Happy 4th

She didn't list not one negative thing. This is what i'm saying they are delusional. We the people do run this country. The only experiment that is over is the one socialists tried to push. Sook your Democratic leadership as we told you years ago openly lied and manipulated you and here you are still defending them.

Absolutely 💯

I told her I really liked her list but she probably thought I was being sarcastic?
She could switch parties and be welcomed with amazing policy ideas like those.
Maybe she’s really just controlled opposition 🤨

"They" choose to wear binders -- and blame every thing on the Left. Whether it makes any sense or not.

The government is becoming more and more powerful every day -- chipping away at the rights and power of the people.

Like I said, "I smell Putin". He did not start off with ultimate power -- he worked the system until he had full control.

Not in that post, I didn't. I posted a citation from the Heritage Foundation's website, boasting on how Trump has implemented their agenda.

Before that, I commented on how Project 2025 plans to eliminate civil service workers and make government employees political appointees, according to their political leanings. So much for continuity in government.

There's a lot of stuff in the 900 page conservative playbook that's "bad". And, a vote for Trump is a vote for Project 2025, like it or not.

The only experiment that is over is the one socialists tried to push.

You're the delusional one, if you think that after 911, the Patriot Act, Citizens United, and all the other precedents set and overturned by The Roberts Court, AKA The Heritage Foundation's and the Federalists' court, that the power of the US Government still lies with The People.

Dream on sweety. Vote like it counts!

that's just comical coming from you. Gaslighting is what has been done by the white house, the media, and largely the left since 2020. I don't think you are really stupid enough to believe the things you say, but I am impressed by the solidarity you have to the party. It takes a lot to do and say things you know are idiotic, but do it with a sincere look and sound.

I can't help but think if it had been Biden who was able to add three justices to the SCOTUS and they were all raging liberals, you would be applauding their rulings. So it's not really about the nation or the Constitution, but about the party. I personally see that as a problem.

It didn't start there, sweety. It started even before 911, (Iran/Countra; government subsidized crack anyone?) but we really started to see an emboldened power grab with The Patriot Act and Citizen's United. That's when The American Experiment's fatal attacks occurred.

It takes a lot to do and say things you know are idiotic, but do it with a sincere look and sound.

You do and say things you know are idiotic, too, but you never come accross as sincere and sound.

You don’t need a link, all you need to do is open your eyes and wake up. There’s similarities and evidence all throughout your party. A few keywords in my post were “admittedly or not” and I know what camp you’re in.

It's you. You are the pic.

The issue never being the issue and the issue always is revolution.

How can we tell? It's pretty easy actually. Your inability to admit when you are wrong is a great starting point. Reasonable people can disagree and find common ground.

Furthermore is the lack of any consistency. Be it values, beliefs or paradigms. They ebb and flow to political expedience instead of stemming from a foundation.

But, take solace as "you" are not alone. "You" implicates many here and many more currently holding school board, local committee, state and federal offices.
