That's okay really, in my book. We don't need blood out of that turnip; it serves no purpose. If there's any effect on the Biden crime syndicate and Slo-Jo's election chances, the conviction alone does that, but honestly it shouldn't. After all, the charge really had nothing to do with Slo-Jo; it was just Hunter being a drug fueled idiot. His serving time or not serving time won't really have any effect on anything. I think what the conviction does show, more than anything else, is Slo-Jo's tacit approval of Hunter by making statements like 'he's the smartest guy Slo-Jo ever knew, and how proud he is of him, when there's no possible way he could have not known about his lifestyle. So, it's just one more knock on Slo-Jo's credibility (of which there are thousands already).

edit - If Trump is smart, he won't dwell too much on the Hunter conviction.

It looks like he took your advice. (the high road)
www.usatoday.com...

When Trump was asked about the trial Wednesday on Fox News, the talk turned to alcohol. Trump, whose brother Fred Trump Jr. died of complications from alcoholism, said he’s never taken a drink.

“I had a brother who suffered tremendously from alcoholism and alcohol,” Trump told Sean Hannity. “And it was a terrible thing to watch. He was an incredible guy with the best personality. He was the best-looking person you have ever seen. Everything was perfect. But he had an addiction.”

“He spoke about no matter how long you are sober you will be an addict,” she told the jury.

Asked about the trial, Trump expressed sympathy given his experience witnessing the harms of addiction.

"Look, I feel very badly for them in terms of the addiction part of what they have right now," Trump said.

Every now and then, he slips up and let's his human side come into the light. LIke when he denied an air strike because he felt the casualties of 150 enemy combatants was too high. He cared enough about life that he stopped it. I know the haters will still hate, but it's little things like that that re-assure me that he's the right guy at the right time.

Says he could get up to 25 years.

Lets see what he actually gets.

I bet he is pretty P'd off right now. LOL

He's not pissed off at all.
He's the fall guy and will have been briefed extensively.
He may have to do some time, but that is the price the fall guy pays and he will have accepted his role in return for massive reward.
Hunter's conviction is nothing more than cover for Democrat lawfare.
'See - we convicted a Biden too'.
They took a completely insignificant player in the political game and will use him to justify political lawfare.

Watch where the headlines go.
Goebbels had nothing on this Democrat propaganda and political game playing machine.

Right on queue.
I knew it wouldn;t take long.
So predictable these days.

None of those guys even come anywhere close to holding a candle to the Israeli political game playing machine!

They infiltrate and take over entire nation's MSM and entertainment industries in order to shape public opinion. When you see how extensive it is, and how deep it goes, it's nothing short of astonishing.

America's about to be dealt a heavy hand of consequence and a series of harsh lessons entitled "This is What Happens When You Allow Corruption to Thrive Unabated".

AND...you'll exceed the word-count limit in a post listing all the other countries who not only allow, but openly endorse, corruption to flourish.

In fact, I'd bet you can't even come up with more than 3-4 countries where corruption is NOT a major issue today.

The corruption the public sees or is made aware of is just the tip of an absolutely mammoth iceberg below the water.

Yea. That's my whole point. Corruption Unabated. Corruption run amok.
Like a cancerous tumor that's spread throughout the entire body.
We've reached an unsustainable level.

So many people with their heads still buried. Trying to convince themselves, "Things really aren't that bad".

Or telling themselves, "Maybe if we pretend it doesn't exist, it won't matter".

lol. It matters.

Americans won't be the only ones to suffer. The entire planet will suffer.

And so what will that look like...

BTW Corruption has always been there and everywhere. Now corruption unabated...naw... You want to see that you need to go back to before the 1950s and all the way back to 1800 and you will see massive unabated...

We just happen to be more aware. For example, Clinton screwed women all over the place from the time he was a Governor and on to the White house. He even raped one woman and Hillary called her a slut. Coming forward it is an Oh My God! event with Trump playing hanky panky with a porn star. The difference is awareness, so today you see a lot of corruption around you, but the reality is it is only expanded awareness and much less corruption than in the past that was able to be kept secret.

Here pin this one too and get back with me in 5 years.

That's the extent of corruption in your eyes? "Hanky Panky"?

If there's always been corruption and it has proliferated, unabated over decades, even centuries leading up to our present time, when has it ever been controlled? Did Trump reigned it in? Did Biden? Is that why everything is so stable now?

If corruption is like a disease (which it is) then it never stabilizes or decline without intervention. All it does is continue to masticize and spread until everything it touches is eventually destroyed.

If we are in a downturn (which we are) and corruption has never been abated (which it hasn't -- at least not in the US) then our circumstances will not stabilize or improve. Our economy and societies will continue the downward trend, progressively deteriorating over time.

Corruption has always existed however, it does reach a level of unsustainability as it balloons and increases. We'll know if we've reached that level of unsustainability as we continue to observe geopolitical and socioeconomic conditions.

COnVID it was exposed how it’s a global problem, the world has been suffering for quite some time though. I don’t think it’s to be a future event.

What is the extent of Trump's corruption in the government? My point there wasn't about corruption it was about how society sees things more today than in the past and so thinks there is more going on when it could be less.

OK throw on some timeline since you seem to be all chicken little on this subject. I think everything swings on a pendulum, society lets things swing in one direction until it reaches a point where society pushes back, and it swings the other way.

We see it all the time... We are seeing it in real-time with wokeness today, for example.
