I think it will play out like this:

Hunter will now accept a plea deal for the September IRS trial. Daddy then pardons both of them and resigns. They ride off into the sunset and the dems put up a new candidate. That their voters did not have a say in.

I am leaning towards Kennedy.

He may have to undergo daily mandatory drug tests!! 😀

Doesn't he still have potential tax charges? I thought thats why the place deal fell through. HIs lawyers wanted immunity from future charges.

If Joe wins...he steps down and Kamala pardons Hunter.

Or Joe doesn't get the nominee or doesn't make it to November due to mental decline and Kamala pardons Hunter.

But then again, Joe lying to the public certainly wouldn't be out of the ordinary so him pardoning is still on the table.

Judge will sentence quickly so as to not interfere.
