Guess some posters missed all the news outlets and the discussions about the "legal theory" that is being stretched to make this a court case. Basically resurrecting it after the actual entities that could try it declined to. The reason it was declined was due to a d-emocrat (Jon Edwards) paying hush money to his mistress and it was not deemed a crime.
It is aggravating to read the cheerleading for this trial and knowing how in all other capacities of his office Bragg has been totally useless. This is the same guy that has used the legal system to attack victims that fought back against criminals endangering themselves and others. That is how I know the Trump trial is a sham, the DA has shown his true colors before this case hit the courtroom!

Problem is Trump and his supporters claim political prosecution no matter what. If he wins the case it’ll be justice served, if he loses, they’ll claim it was a setup by a corrupt legal system.

It's pretty clear this case will go nowhere unless Choen has the smoking gun, and can find a way not to lie about it.
But the banter here is comical. They are leagal experts until you ask them a quetion, then they don't know anything and will wait for the judge. It's like DERP level 9.
