The prosecutions questions not the defenses.
Anyway, don’t forget the prosecution will have a chance to question Cohen after the cross examination and clean up any perceived points scored by the defense.

Firstly, just because he was trying to get them to deal with a prank caller at the time, doesn’t mean he didn’t also confirm the payment to Trump.
Also, it was a very short phone call over 8 years ago… who can even remember most 2 minute phone calls they had over 8 years ago? Let alone remember the exact date and time.
Cohen just might be confusing phone calls of when he confirmed the payment to Trump, or the defense may be trying to trip Cohen up with a completely different phone call that occurred around the same time. So much different possible scenarios.
Either way, they sure as hell haven’t established he was lying.

seeing lefties flocking to Michael Cohen's defense is comical. You can't make any of this up.

Did a 14-year-old prank caller just blow up Michael Cohen’s testimony in Trump’s hush money trial?

"Justice Merchan said the complaint, from more than a year ago, was dismissed in July with a caution," spokesperson Al Baker of the state Office of Court Administration said this week in response to a Reuters inquiry
