Those Russian fighters with whom I spoke as a journalist really wanted to face soldiers from NATO armies in a real battle.

It's Not the Tank that Makes the Tank , it's the Tank Crew in it .
I agree with you. You know, I have many friends in the Russian army, I myself went on a humanitarian mission to the front. Those Russian fighters with whom I spoke as a journalist really wanted to face soldiers from NATO armies in a real battle. They had a professional interest.
Mercenaries don't count. This is garbage. Professionals respect each other. Like everywhere and everything.

Judging by the videos I've seen the turrets seem to be ejectable?

Do you see the Ukrainians as less than human in order to justify all this? I think that's how warfare works, but I can't say for sure. All I did is fixed planes, never had to hurt anyone.

their tanks have the nickname jack in the box because the turrets blow off from the ammunition cooking off.

Ukraine has lost also many tanks, Abrams is just one model....they dont have many those...was it 31 originally .
But the lost tanks numbers are much bigger in Russian side , a mountain of scrap metal .
