I quite clearly stated what they should have done. Thought about it.

What the # would I know about what the Israeli heads of Defense should have done? They pay people, train and educate them, to do that kind of thing. They're not supposed to respond quite so viscerally, in a knee-jerk reaction. I kind of want to know why those people weren't engaged in what they are employed to do or if their command was over-ridden. As I said, I get the response to the offensive by HAMAS but I also understand that there was some reasoning behind HAMAS' actions. Israel's action seem to lack any reasoning behind them. Just reaction like a mistreated dog. And I think that is pretty much the crux of it on both sides. A couple of abused dogs pitted against each other with prods and pokes from a betting audience with a hard-on for the blood of others.

I'm perfectly willing to listen to and consider what people think Israel should have done in response to the October 7th attack - irrelevant though what my opinion is. But all people come up with is 'Israel should not have attacked like they have' - so ok, what should they have done?

If that's true, and it's been true since before the turn of the century, then why are they still alive. Who suffers them to endure when the means and motive exist to wipe HAMAS off the planet?

I'm not a poster that even pretends to have any answers.

If I did, I wouldn't be posting online, instead I'd be at the UN running the world.

Facts are, most palestinians want to see the end of Israel, palestinians attacked Israel on Oct 7th, and Israel is fighting back.

I'm not so arrogant that I can say what Israel or the palestinians should or should not do.

All I can do is support Israel. That's the "side" I've chosen in this war.

The only thing I do know, is if palestinians surrender, return all hostages, and acknowledge Israel as a sovereign nation, then the war will end.

If you've got a better suggestion, then I'm all ears.
