Mrs Weiss confirms what many of you don't want to hear i.e the mistreatment of Palestinians over 70+ years and the fact that Gaza is under occupation. Coming from a Holocaust survivor is a very powerful argument and difficult to argue against.

It is of the utmost importance listening to a holocaust survivor and they will all agree that because of their experiences, and this is key, that if a town in Germany was firebombed they would say and feel that "good take as many of them too as they take of us".

That is the reality of genocide.

Her experiences are not comparable to anything else we know of. And Gaza has been under continuous bombardment for several weeks resulting in so many deaths.

Because it sure is hard to swallow that free-thinking peoples anywhere in the world would deny that the mass murder of noncombatant civilian Palestinians in Gaza is a direct result of the method of response by IDF military, as described by Susan Weiss with her speech in Toronto.

This thread still exists and it seems there are no valid arguments against what Mrs Weiss has said. It's really damning for the Israeli State Propaganda when a holocaust survivor arguing that Gaza has been transformed into a death camp.

After almost 7 weeks in the conflict it's clear what Israel wants to do in the long term and what they are currently doing, just as Mrs Weiss said.

That's not what the rest of the world has seen so far unless you a version of reality that is different to many of us and to Mrs Weiss who is a Holocaust survivor.

You could have had an argument if Mrs Suzanne Weiss was the only Jewish person who had expressed her views about the State of Israel and its actions against the Palestinians. But that's simply not true and there are many Jewish people who have condemned the violence on both sides and they have argued against the war crimes committed by Israel.

Going form the route Marxism and socialism is detrimental to your argument.

I see that you're bothered by the truth and realities of the war. The whole world has seen what happened in Gaza over the past 7 weeks. You're trying to whitewash the crimes committed by the State of Israel and then gaslight anyone here who points out the obvious.

Another Jewish Holocaust survivor has condemned Israel and its actions in Gaza.

87-year old Marione Ingram has been protesting outside the White House and had been asking for a ceasefire and the end of hostilities. Better listen to what she has to say as Zionism and its very ugly form can seriously damage Israel and the war can spread throughout the wider area in the middle east.

She goes further to say that what Israel does isn't going to end the conflict but exarcebate it.

Marione Ingram is another holocaust survivor and she too, just as many other Jewish people, has condemned the actions of Israel in Gaza. Mass murder and crimes against humanity will not bring peace and justice.

I think you're mistaken again if you haven't listened to what both of these Holocaust survivors have said about Israel and its actions in Gaza that they both condemn. Just as most sane people around the world.

The rest of your post is just a usual justification for the continuation of the war and trying to shift responsibility to Palestinians who are under occupation for a long period of time. It hasn't worked I am afraid and will not work.

The whole world has seen what is going on in Gaza and under what conditions its people have lived. Israel has isolated itself and united the Muslim world for the first time in years.

Israel has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the name of self defense and the whole world has witnessed it. There is no support for it.

Where there is strong evidence the 70 killed leaving Gaza by Salah al-Din Road was by Hamas booby traps and not an Israeli air strike. And as evidence came to surface it was caused by Hamas, the incident goes dark in the media?
