Why would Israel call for a cease-fire?
Not at all pertinent to the question and is a speculative question that would require an off-topic answer.
Please, with your next post, use the same logic you've been using every page here, please
admit that if Israel calls for a ceasefire, then they would be supporting terrorism.
Why would Israel call for a case-fire?
It doesn't matter WHY Israel would call for a ceasefire.
WOULD Israel be supporting terrorists IF they called a ceasefire?
And: Would you be willing to admit that Israel supports terrorists if they did call for a ceasefire?
See how they won't answer that question. Questions for thee to answer but not for me.
You sure know a lot about that, now don't you?
If Israel called for a cease fire, there is no guarantee that HAMAS would follow through, and here we are, yet again, with Israel getting attacked. And as soon as they retaliate, yet again, they will be condemned by the world that has no idea what they are talking about.
An endless loop that will, more than likely, only end with one side being wiped off the face of the earth.

It's a stupid question without discussing WHY.
hamas wants a cease-fire, again, because they are losing.
A cease-fire for them is just a chance to reload and do it all over again.

No, Israel should not be treated any differently than any other country based on 'chosen' anything.
What difference does it make if their religion tells them this? Perhaps they also tell them they are chosen to suffer.
Did that little boy asking 'Why am I alive?' as he watched the terror of his family being slaughtered. Do you think he felt chosen for anything SPECIAL????
Do you think this child is somehow more at fault then others because his book talks about 12 tribes of special people?
Get over YOUR problems with religious mythology.

It's a stupid question because it follows the template of the false equivalency fallacy that ceasefire supporters are terrorist supporters.

That hurt my head a little trying to figure out how those two things could even come close to linking
As I said, if Israel calls a cease fire, HAMAS will likely not follow it or, as another poster has said, they will use it as a chance to regroup and start this roundabout all over again.

Exactly, but they don't seem to get it, still.
As to the topic of this thread it's like people choose who they deem to be the victims and who are the terrorists, black and white, no gray areas because nobody wants to educate themselves on the history of these two factions as well as how the rest of the world played their parts. So ceasefire = supporting Hamas is using the antisemetic card or pushing that propaganda because the idea of a mutual ceasefire with the world players helping them come to an agreement that both can live with is entirely out of the question as per Netanyahu. Can we then turn that around and say because Netanyahu refused a ceasefire that he is playing the Nazi card?
A cease-fire for them is just a chance to reload and do it all over again.

I don't play with what-ifs.
If Israel HAS called for a ceasefire, then I will discuss the wisdom or strategy of that.
Otherwise, you are playing games.
Nope.

So you don't know or don't care about the conditions on the southern boarder? Is this the terms and conditions if the Middle East is to push back. Is that why so much fear over 'from the river to the sea'. Either you win or lose.
What about trying to be not such an asshole, like how much land is already stolen and you don't expect them to get pissed? The more you push there worst it is going to get.
