Might that self-defense entail something of the public image of Israel to the world, but also especially towards the Islamic countries completely surrounding them, maybe reducing the number of people traumatized by the conflict and therefore, reducing the number of guaranteed new terrorist recruits in those regions?
When coming to terms with 9/11, Israel can burn with how I feel. I know there there is more to a nation than some # heads. Israel dose have a lot to provide to the region if it wanted. Instead it has taken a war policy so that is what it has, for now. If the Middle East want peace, getting ride of Israel is on the table.
With the approach Israel is taking, I cannot blame the Middle East if they choose to defend themselves. I hope it don't come to that so trying to be a voice of reason in this madness, but if it happens, meh.

When Israel calls for a ceasefire, would they be supporting terrorists, just like everyone else calling for a ceasefire is being labeled?
They will finally be doing one act of self defense.

What are your opinions on how this can be achieved?
Personall I think Hamas need to be removed, two-state solution and possibly a UN style peacekeeping force put in place until Palestinians can elect a new government.
Al-Queda have a strong foot in North Egypt near the Gaza border and there's very high risk of Gaza falling further into a failed terrorist state/open air apartheid prison without a thoroughly detailed and implemented plan for after the current conflict.

Do you think they weren't trying the whole time?
I think he actually died in a bunker and the Seal Team killed a look alike because Obama want to claim it

For your first sentence, I actually DO think that, just like I think Israel isn't actually trying to kill HAMAS leaders with the bombing.

You've ignored the point.
After years of bombs and conflict,
it was a SEAL team that got him.
So, maybe they should've just done that to start with.
