In the immediate, he's gone: someone drags him back, then we will talk...

Chucked out has a timeframe?

You will split every hair you possibly can.

Just stating facts. Let's keep it real.

I will say again If this State Department Official is a nobody then why do you care so much about a nobody and try desperately to convince us he is...nobody who worths no attention...

You repeat yourself a lot. The answer was already given. The only desperate one is you who, who are emotionally invested, and who continues to plaster the forum with your agenda.

Again - this guy is a nobody. He imagined his job was doing something that it isn't, and he didn't agree with what his job called for so he quit. The end. No big deal. He's easily replaced. It's really entertaining to see some trying to make a big deal out of him though ... says a lot.

I didn't understand the entire picture of that.

No wonder Bibi popularity is slipping a bit. Seems he isn't hardline enough.

Wow. The propagandists here would have us believe it's because the Israeli population supports Palestine.

Who knew?

When someone gives so much credibility to unknown 'celebrities' and media artists, a real State Dept mucky muck at any level must be the end-all-be-all validator.

There are very distinguishing characteristics between 'IMPROVISED' explosive devices and military grade.

Are you even trying to be serious.

Water pipe as rocket tubing should be a clue....

Its policy thruout the federal govt. You do as you are told. You support the policies/priorities given to you.

To do otherwise is called insubordination.

Immediate dismissal.

Gentlemens agreements are often 'resignation' to avoid a process with appeals.

Of course. That's the way it is in government and in business. If you don't do what the company wants, then you aren't doing your job and you get fired. You can still have your opinions, but if they are disruptive to getting the job done then you are useless and have to get the boot. That's not 'censorship', that's just common sense. The State Department, and any business out there, are not democracies. People are hired to do certain jobs and if they can't do them, they they are fired.

He appealed to the old testament to argue war and destruction for the enemies of his people. Great speech!

Yea and Hamas uses the quaran to justify ALL of their actions against Israel. You want to sugar-coat an organization with not a single redeeming quality and wonder why you get push back. Oh and by the way eleven years does not equal decades of experience as you said.

Like in taking an oath for lots of government offices. Or sighing Legal documents you will conduct yourself a certain way. Or even signing legal non disclosure agreements.

He maybe nobody according to you but still an ex Senior State Department Official who knows well what he is talking about. I understand you find his views challenging as he argues that we shouldn't give arms to other countries to massacre civilians.

Let's stay on this for a little while.
So him and others in the State Department and Government argue that civilians have been slaughtered thanks to American Arms. That's a pretty serious statement.

I know you still think he is...nobody...but the view of a random online member is also the view of an anonymous nobody

He didn't suddenly become a Senior State Department Official. I like the way you try to discredit him. Have you managed to do so?

Yes and Hamas using the Quaran. They are both nutcases that want to destroy each other.

Or just some guy after a bit of attention?

Big business.

The United States is the biggest source of global military sales, and its share of the market is growing. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute reported earlier this year that the U.S. generated 40% of all arms exports during the period 2018-2022, compared with 33% during 2013-2017

Wouldn’t that technically be the single largest source.

40 percent indicates 60 percent of arms are still being supplied by sources other than the US.

No I don't think so.
He is good and he speaks sense.
Problem is the war machine wants the continuation of this war.

Worldwide yes, but to Israel what is that now?

In the period between 2018-2022, Israel imported weapons totalling $2.7bn from only two countries, the US and Germany. More than three-quarters of Israel's military imports amounting to $2.1bn came from the US while the remaining $546m came from Germany.

In 2022, Israel spent $23.4bn on its military, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), a research institute focused on conflict and armaments.

This amounts to $2,535 per capita over the 2018-2022 period, making it the world’s second-largest spender on military per capita after Qatar.

www.aljazeera.com...#:~:text=In%20the%20period%20between %202018,%24546m%20came%20from%20Germany.

Before you crap all over the source, they got those numbers from Stockholm Int'l Peace Research Institute.
