I know that Terpene.
But that does not mean that the cycle cannot be broken.
Not that i imagine that will be the case anytime soon.
They have been at it, for the past 75 years, or thereabouts.
If the better part of a century canny teach people who essentially worship the same god to stop kicking the crap out of one another, i don't imagine much will.
End of the day it's pathetic.
I look at the world from what would be better for my kid. My daughter would have lots more civil freedoms if forced to grow up in Israel vs the religious freedoms and opportunities for women by Hamas.
Hamas is a terrorist government.

I dont necessarily disagree with you.
But it does not change the situation or provide any sort of meaningful solutions to the problem.
They see each other as terrorists.
As to religious freedoms, aside from the manner in which they choose to treat one another, organised religion is the main problem and directly contributes to the division among the people.

Two different hospitals but don't let 'your' truth get in the way of a good story.

The current predicament in the Middle East would seem to suggest organised religious practice is indeed a significant problem with regard to what transpires over there and has been for some time.
Dictated by Muslim terrorists that can’t handle a free and civil society.

What about whats said in the Talmud and Zophar?
Doesn't matter. 14 million Jews in the world. They aren't enslaving anyone and couldn't even if they tried. No Jewish person I know believes in enslaving the world. It's absolutely ridiculous. Their numbers don't support it. But like I said, ISLAM DOES have it as their religion and they DO have the numbers to support it. If someone is hell bent on fearing being taken as a slave by a religion, then use common sense and fear Islam, not Judaism.

I don't particularly agree with the manner they choose to run their nations or treat the members of their societies.
Point of fact i consider their rule of law to be deplorable if it amounts to the Sharia sort.
But how do you imagine they see our respective societies which i can guarantee they do not consider to be "free and civil"?
Anyhoo freedom is illusory at best and that goes for humanity as a whole, if it wishes to interact with one another in groups.
Which is true no matter where you happen to reside on the globe if it is next to other people or which religious ideology you choose to subscribe.
Money talks buddy, the rest of us just do the walk, and that's something organised religious practice in all its many guises embraces as much as the bankers.
You're imagining some fantasy where everyone gets along without geographic separation? All 8 Billion humans?

Hamas is a terrorist government.
And your daughter has the Civil Freedom of changing her gender and ending up on OnlyFans as a pretend dog-person who has sex with men who are more than willing to feed her delusions as long as they get their turn.
What are the chances of that in Hamas?

I cannot in good conscience stand behind the idea of "unlimited/maximum freedom just for the sake of it".
The idea that more freedom automatically = better does not stand up to any logical examination.

Hamas is living in underground tunnels. Bombing civilians is not going to kill Hamas. It only kills civilians.
They didn't take the civilians to the tunnels to be used as shields.

First of all Hamas fired 30,000 rockets on Israel, and they have killed around 100 people.
I don't think 1 misfired rocket will kill more than Hamas has killed for around 10 years. I have seen reports that confirmed it's an American JDAM.
For the second issue, why would Hamas store weapons in a civilian building when they have underground safe storage facilities?

It was based on sound, very similar to JDAM

You didn’t answer the question. Hamas rocket attacks are killing their own civilians. Should they stop the rocket attacks. Rocket attacks that are launched a majority of the time to kill Jewish civilians.
