That damage doesn't look consistent with an airstrike to me. There's a ton of videos of Israeli airstrikes floating around. They do much more damage than that. Unless there's more they just didn't film for whatever reason.

ETA: The videos I've been seeing that claim to be of the hospital are showing a pretty big fire, but you can't tell what's burning. It's kind of off in the distance.

Worth noting that hospitals lose their protected status if they are used for military operations.

I still wouldn't bomb a hospital though. Whatever target is there likely isn't important enough to balance out all the negative backlash you'd get.

Target selection, even if it's a legal target, needs to consider more factors in this day and age.

During the Gulf War in 1991, we bombed a concrete bunker which was being used by military commanders. Unfortunately, only part of it was being used for that. The rest of it was being used as a shelter by civilians. Most of the dead were civilians. It was technically a legal target, not a war crime, but the negative backlash we got from it wasn't worth the commanders we took out.

I agree people have a really silly idea that there is a "clean" way to fight a war.

I'm just saying Israel should know that they are going to be extremely scrutinized for every little thing they do, so they should fact that into their calculations of whether a particular target is worth hitting.

We don't know that they even hit this hospital, and whether it was deliberate or a bomb off course. I'm not judging it yet until we get more info.

You aren't usually this bloodthirsty when it comes to bombing civilian locations. Maybe your thirst for bloodshed should be directed at those in the governments and intelligence agencies, you know, the people who actually fund, coordinate and direct these attacks in the first place?

Or do you still believe that goat herders living in caves hijacked multiple planes simultaneously with box cutters, crashing them into buildings at impossible angles, in the most secure airspace in the history of mankind, causing fires which caused the only case in history of buildings collapsing into their own footprint at free fall speed because of fires, including a building that wasn't even hit, yet they found perfectly preserved passports of the alleged hijackers on top of the rubble, even though some of the alleged hijackers were confirmed to still be living in the Middle East?

Hamas reminds me of those tiny dogs that will run up a bite your ankle then take off and hide and complain that you are the aggressor .

I think Hamas thought it would be the same as before , "Cease Fire" lets talk this over kind of thing they bit off to much this time .

Don't know if this is the hospital that was hit or where the casualties are being evacuated to , I suspect the latter given the injured are being transported by ambulance.

The hospital was also being used as a shelter for people outside in the courtyard according to reports , 200 to 300 killed so far in this strike.

That's all very well, but to play Devil's Advocate, air strikes these days are a bit different from Heinkels dropping dumb bombs on London or Lancasters carpet bombing Dresden.

That said, if this was an Israeli air strike there would be much, much more damage and Hamas would be all over it?

It does sound like typical Hamas propaganda. Good time to remind everyone that earlier in this thread I posted a video exposing Hamas propaganda of a dead Palestinian "baby" that turned out to be a doll.

I'm not so sure. They had to know a terrorist attack of this magnitude would elicit a huge response from Israel.

I'm just wondering what the next stage in the plan is. Remember Iran is pulling the strings. They had to have a 2nd stage in mind.
