Look down the road to the election Republicans NEED results to counter the MSM propaganda now heading into the election cycle.

After this mess good luck this helps the Dems in a huge way.

Matt Gaetz appears to be the only one actually getting results. I don't worry about the media any longer. They are overplaying their hand with all of the Trump lawsuits and court dates right now. Everyone is tuning them out. Sadly, I don't think the next election is going to matter either. The Dems are so hell bent on getting Trump, that there is no way they are going to allow a fair and free election anyway.

I understand your point. But to me it is not a fringe vote. This is about delivering no what you promised oor being removed. No one voting Red is going to change their vote to Blue. My point is if he had the party in line no one would have voted against him. This action is one of the few I have seen from Congress holding people responsible.

McCarthy, like so many other Republican leaders in Congress....failed us and he should be held responsible.

If nothing else, this tells everyone to get in line with some real ideas but it you FA you will FO. Simple as that.

But he didn't get results the Democrats did, they wouldn't have voted for it unless they thought it helped them.

LOL! You're talking about a Democrat Party who chose Joe Biden as their presidential candidate! They don't know what could or could not help them!

Yet even with that clown they won the oval office and instead of a huge majority the Republicans barely got a majority in the house.

Yet we know why that is, as we discussed it.

McConnel next?

Smart? Maybe for a Qanon boomer. Basically if a Qanon soccor mom got elected. What has she done to improve the country, besides worshipping everything Trump does?

Look mitch is a douche canoe, nobody disputes that but it was a bigger problem then that.

Republicans dont know how to get stuff done anymore and have forgotten to say look this is what we have acomplished.

They try and play the game the same way the dems do but the media wont carry water for them.

Hence they need to do things that help the people if you want to convince them to vote for you and getting rid of a swamp creature you have leverage on, for a swamp creature that you dont isnt going to move the needle come election time.

Yea, im not convinved of the "we need change....noooo, not THAT change" argument.

Removing McCarthy damages the uniparty. Period.

Thats measurable progress.

right you swapped a swamp creature for a swamp creature and will only be able to put a swamp creature in the seat since no way will the dems allow anything else.

How did this change anything other than get rid of the guy you had leverage on?

Because the seat is currently vacant.

Nope try again there is an interim member from NC who used to work for gw.

The guy your cheering for swapped a swamp creature for a worse one.

Scalise will probably replace him but there is someone holding the gavel right now.

He's not permanent nor do I believe he has any power as he was not "chused" by the house.

Scalise would've been my first guess as well but with his cancer diagnosis I doubt he's going to want the headache that is being Speaker on top of it.

That not hard to figure out. The midterms went down the same way as Biden's election. They only know how to steal what they manage to get their hands on.

Scalise has blood cancer and is going through treatment. I'm doubting he's up for the job.

The Republicans will be meeting next Tuesday to discuss possible leaders and start taking votes next Wednesday.

We'll see who they come up with, but I don't have high hopes. We haven't drained the House of enough Republican swamp creatures yet to get anyone meaningful for the purpose of change.

Far far more than you have done or will do in your entire lifetime, I guarantee...

Your hero helped kill a cr that had a 30% spending cut in committee, and worked with Jefferies to oust mcarthy.

Lol I have to laugh at this point we are so screwed.

That Democrat talking point is getting old and tiresome. Do I need to remind everyone that the Democrats ALL voted against McCarthy the 1st time in January when he was originally nominated for Speaker? The Dems are going to vote against ANY Republican. NO ONE is working WITH the Democrats. We already know what they are going to do next time too. If it happens to work in favor of conservatism, use it. Their vote isn't going to affect the outcome of the next Speaker either. It's all up to the Republicans.
