Apparently, Levin will use any Democrat talking point he needs to support his views. DeSantis supporters are doing that more and more everyday...even DeSantis himself. If it opposes Trump and supports the Democrats all at the same time, so be it.

It depends on what the subject of that particular deal is. McCarthy promised to break out funding line item by line item instead of trying to package it all together. I'm sure the Democrats refused, but some items SHOULD be held out, debated, and agreed upon separately. No more passing BS crap through otherwise good bills.

Same answer as above.

Jim Jordan has thrown his hat into the ring.

Officially.

I don't see him getting the votes but he's probably the best insurance policy the GOP can give the Dems to guarantee they take the House next year. Outside of naming Trump as Speaker.

He doesnt need any democrat votes. If the republicans can agree, then he is in.

No reason to believe he won't be supported by the republicans. Trump is a different story.

What makes you think so?

Three months before McCarthy was even voted in, Jim Jordan said he supported McCarthy and did not want the nomination for himself.

While, I believe that Jordan is a better option than McCarthy, I didn't like the way he kissed McCarthy's butt to get the committee assignments he wanted. I'm sure there are still plenty of RINOs in the House that will choose not to vote for him.

I like how this whole thing is forcing all Republicans to show their hand though. I'm waiting to see who has been quiet about the Biden Impeachment Inquiry, but will finally reveal their stance based on whether they give Jordan crap for having started the investigation in the first place. That will be telling. I was really surprised when I read one of Rand Paul's public statements about how we shouldn't try to impeach another president. I wouldn't vote for Paul now for JUST THAT REASON.

Pretty sure it was the opposite of what you claim.

How is him being on the ballot and only getting 20 votes the opposite of them not wanting him? If they wanted him he would've been Speaker after the 2nd or 3rd ballot.

That doesn't prove much considering that Jim Jordan had already told everyone that he didn't want the job. Why would more people vote for him if he didn't want it back then?

I do know that McCarthy didn't break up the CR like he said he would. What else is there to know?

He's being Cawthorned! You know, I used to wonder about this "son" Nestor, but it struck me now that maybe he liked having Nestor around for access to teenage girls. Notice we never hear of Nestor anymore now that he's older in which he could attend more events as an adult. You think we'd hear something, at Gaetz wedding, just anywhere really.

Anyway, the GOP split into factions does not benefit the party in anyway in my opinion.

No doubt that the RINO Republicans will go after Gaetz like they go after Trump, but we all know in the end that it always turns out to be just a bunch of worthless screeching against someone that they fear will get them kicked out of office themselves. It's all political theater.

What kind of power would he actual have if he became house speaker?

It would be one for the history books: one party front runner indicted by the other party's DoJ, the other party front runner being impeached, led by the other party's SoH.

Good times.

Let us say that woman, and young child, is carrying enough fentanyl to kill 50000, Americans. Would you shoot them. You see, this is not invasion, but an all out war.

Put into perspective, we are losing over hundred thousand a year to fentanyl, total soldiers killed in civil war was 620k. Now you realize it is war.

Many of these illegals, especially got a ways, are bringing across this death.

If you don't understand we can't absorb 7 million illegals and that it is direct threat to republic there is a problem.

Look, these ppl take your jobs, benefits, healthcare, etc etc etc. It equates to over hundred thousand dollars per illegal. Now understand many are terrorist and gand members and they go to New York and they give them a driver's license which not only allows them to vote but to go anywhere they want.
