We survived on CRs for nearly 8 years under Obama.

It's not that big a deal.

It avoided a shutdown that ALWAYS costs republicans political points, and in itself is no big deal.

Sick of being responsible for the world at the cost of my own.

Return to Isolationism.

Actually, I agree with you, but remember globalist can not hold the power over nations if they are all in isolationism.

They need to have them been invaded and have their politics modified.

So you approve of the omnibus bills then?

Because following this trajectory, we'll get another one yet again.

I'll never understand the simpery for Israel.

Someone will need to explain that one to me over a bottle of very good booze.

Yeah I don't get it all, Christianity got to be one of the weirdest religions and still cucks for Israel.

Turn the other cheek huh, cuck for isreal huh, meanwhile they practice whats in the Talmud.

Hopefully when all the boomers die off we wont have to continue this charade.

All or nothing will not get them results, without results the simple minds will be convinced again by the propaganda arm of the DNC that only the democrats can save them.

I dont think the gop has even tried to actually get results since probably Newt, its all posturing.

Nothing says they cant leverage a flex into more next time with the rhinos.

I'd rather have a CR than more funding for ukraine

Maybe they should reduce the 2 million useless federal workers.

Lot of fat can be trimmed no doubt, but you have a lot of WG workers that are doing a lot of good work others are like me and I am embedded in a unit as a GS worker and can still be deployed.

Not all of them are GS 14 6, figure plus salary pushing papers for no reason other than to justify their existence.

I'm not perfect.

But, come on. The only thing McCarthy has accomplished is letting the democrats spend a Trillion dollars since June.

He's a uniparty POS.

I take your point.

Yet it begs a question. Do you think any perceived win, actual or perceived, from the GOP will sway anyone measurable these days?

That's great, I agree.....today.

Yet eventually a budget needs to pass. That will come in the form of another omnibus.

Do you disagree?

When you look at how much taxpayer money we've sent over there, it boggles the mind.

No.

It's been almost 30 years of CR, and that's why the debt is $33 trillion dollars.

Enough!

THat's the way it's been done in the past.

I would like to see line item veto.

I really don't care if we just keep living on CRs, eventually, it forces govt to cut back.

Works for me.

Will it make a difference I dont know, probably not considering the state of our education system, but I know their all or nothing attempts over the last 20 odd years have gotten us to this point.

I am not talking knuckle under completely I am talking fight for changes that make it hard for the media to spin it for the left and still get you closer to where you want to be.

No, it's the opposite.

Single item spending bills is what forces cuts.

30 years of doing the same thing is only going to result in the same thing.

Works for me too.

Yet you're missing the point. It doesn't work for congress...

Nothing has never been an option Irish.

That's been my point.

Like I said to Coyote, it works for them, works for you, works for me.

Doesn't work for congress.

An omnibus again has become inevitable under McCarthy.

Which then falls on the voters to get the people that keep enabling CR's out of office but then we run into the voters that only vote based off name recognition rather than learn how terrible their rep really is.

I saw it first hand hear in Alaska, Murkowski has no business winning and yet she still did in part thanks to moscow mitch.
