Should we fear white pride?

Every person who boast over the top white pride has a admiration for the Nazis and Hitler.
And that's still fresh in our minds, it was literally a giant white supremist movement that swept Europe.

The question is. Why is white European pride seen as a bad thing. Can you honestly answer that without bringing up what has happened to the whole world in the last 300 or so years?

Answer it honestly. Why is it looked down upon? Why is seen that way?

What are you even talking about? You are always so anxious to try to do some kind of weak "gotcha", that it ends up just being reactive. I never said to only claim your NA roots. In your original post you never once mentioned being Irish, just that records were lost. But again, you know you're Irish it seems. You think I was speaking about records for decendents of slaves? I wasn't as there are some from when they were sold here and there, or when family lines while on a plantation, but families were torn apart, babies torn from their mothers breast and sold somewhere else, etc.

How are they to know their history? How was their mother or father to tell them, or an uncle or cousin? Can you tell me their ancestry? You're assuming just African? Ok, possibly, but from where in Africa? Or were they from the West Indies or the Carribean? Somewhere from an island off of Central America? I wasn't speaking about paperwork, I was speaking on people not even having a clue where they came from.

I'm not sure how you're equating lost records in the Civil War to families being sold apart from each other with no chance of hearing stories of where they were from to even have a chance of figuring out what country their family started in and their ethnic origins.

Slave records didn't just put the name Sally from Cameroon or something when they were sold you know. Nor were they allowed to keep their names which may have given a clue. Some can trace them. Most end up at a dead end in slave records, and knowing a great great great grandparent died on a plantation in Mississippi or wherever gives them no clue to go on. How are they supposed to find out anything about Sally owned by the Johnsons in 1852? Its hard enough to even find who the parents may have been of a sold baby or child. How can they search all the countries slaves were brought from with that info?

No it really wasnt, it was a small subset of the population that managed to leverage itself into a position of power and then used brutality and propaganda to keep the people that didnt believe in a place of fear to maintain power.

A modern similarity would be the "progressives" using social media to push propaganda that people were upset about X when in reality it was just that small group of nut cases.

The NSDP had huge support from millions in Central Europe. There was even support in the US as well.
National socialism itself became a growing movement all over Europe at the time.

Either way, white supremists love the ideology. And love to be antisemitic as well... hmmm what's a growing trend right now all over the internet?

Its very obvious that you ignored my white roots were lost and encouraged me to discover my NA like that would be easier and far more worthwhile . So what if I didn't mention Irish white? I made clear my family records were lost due to the civil war. i.e. white racist, maybe even a slave owner to you.

It's OBVIOUS to me and everyone else here what you meant.

I didn't ignore it. You had a way to at least find out part of your roots if you didn't know the others that was my point. But you actually do know both sides. You don't need the records from the civil war if you want to start trying to find the Ireland connection.

But hey, keep being offended and speaking for all of ATS as you just did. I sure don't know how you went from being a new curious, want to learn more new ATS member a few months ago, to this irate, speaking for all of ATS person so quickly.

But, you do you. I'm sure my posts will continue to cause you to lash out and claim to know what I actually mean, and claim that all of ATS agrees with your determination of what I say.

That is the nature of human beings. Irrespective of ethnicity, origin or creed. We will eventually kill each other.

They did eventually band together. And it ended up in the Americans crapping their pants after they humiliated Custer. It was only when the natives started to organize to stop western expansion the government got serious and started new tactics like government / residential school systems.
They couldn't beat the Indian in warfare anymore so easily, so they tried to school and breed the Indian out them or double cross them through 'legal' land grabs.

Well, first I recognize culture -- and do support inherited traits.

Of course there are turning points in history.

But, Little Big Horn is in Montana -- a lot happened before Europeans got that far west.

And my perspective is that because I look white, I'm supposed to feel guilty about something or another and apologize and can take no pride in MY ancestry or I am called racist.

By people that dont know me nor my genetic history and ancestry.

By people like you. That make some folk special over their racial suffering, but not others.

You are the person that might examine your racism toward white Europeans, instead of making assumptions about people.

I don't get it. If you're taking pride in your ancestry, according to you it's NA and Irish. So why would you be ashamed or feel guilty? I certainly have no guilt at being Sardianian, they were often known as bandits and are still hired these days to perform kidnappings in Italy for the mob. My family were sheep herders and basically sheriff's on the other side. I don't feel guilt because some people were bad, or feel the need to hide where my family comes from and the traditions I was raised with.

Again, if you prefer to disregard your family origins and just choose White Pride that's on you. I'm sure you certainly are aware of the over 100 years that the White Pride term was used by those that denigrate others who are not. But no one can make anyone feel guilty of anything. That's an internal feeling. People are allowed to express why they feel a certain way, and to relate the term to the old and still current use of the term. But you can wear your White Pride t-shirt, or post whatever White Pride means to you and whatever White Pride traditions you want online. No one is stopping you.

And racism towards White Europeans? What have I said about any British,German,French,Irish,Scottish,
Spanish,Italian, etc, person that is racist?
