Show me a post where you express fear of BLM riots. Or Black Panthers. I'll wait.

Show me where I've talked about them ever on ATS.

I'm somehow racist against white European people...

The Progressive left loath who they are, they see themselves as evil, and in some kind of self-flagellation event, they speak out as if all White people are Rasict and evil on some fundamental level.

I thought about this before and it seems people who spend much of their thought process on something tend to have the issue internally with them and they then project it onto others thinking it is some kind of a norm.

An old example I posted years ago was that a person who cheats on their partner all the time tends to think everyone else does the same, so they find it easy to accuse others of their own behaviors. So a person who sees racists around them is most likely a racist. The rest of us give it hardly a thought and just go on in life because it isn't anything we care to indulge in or see as even remotely important.

That or they need to establish themselves as allies, coming from a deeply seated FEAR of the other.

Were you around before the Fair Housing Act?

Why do you always head off into the past? We are talking current as in let's say the last 40 years, not 1968. My last neighborhood was Black, Hispanic, Gay, Mixed-race couples such as myself and we all got along and had a good time.

On a side note, how do you think I would fare today if I rented an appt in an inner city compared to a Black family buying the house next to me?

Then why are you on a thread trying to prove how unracist you are if it's not even remotely important? See the irony?

Well, I was born in Compton. Yep -- me "Straight out of Compton".

The past never really goes away.

Force through legislation is the only reason we don't have all white neighborhoods anymore.

And the common response -- "what if I moved into a black neighborhood".

I'm enjoying the discourse, as I do with many other posts, same as you. In my daily life, I don't think about it and I didn't create the OP as it wouldn't be one I would even think of creating. I do have concerns with the self-loathing progressive liberals and the shenanigans they are up to these days, and it is typically them I speak to here. My wife would think it was kind of funny if you called me a racist, so I don't think I need to convince anyone I'm not...lol

I'm trying to help you all see where your failures are in the logic that seems to be based on falsehoods and self proclaim points pushed as actual facts.

I'm here for you buddy...

Yet, all I've said is that the term White Pride has been used the over the last century or so by racist groups, and is still used today, with examples provided. That does not mean I'm "seeing racists everywhere", it means that people who choose to use that term either on their social media or clothing will likely be side eyed about it as I think it's pretty commonly known that racist groups use the term.

my angle is the my paternal line where French Huguenot and Anglo-Indian(hindi) and my maternal line my grandmother escaped the fascists in Italy (1938) hints of north Africa in her heritage and faked being English when she met my grandfather a Gi who faked being northern European , turns out he was Cherokee, we only found that out when he died as he'd hid my mothers birth cert in a locked box when he returned to the us..

mother was dark skinned hair and eyes she was horrified my sister and I are nothing like her we are platinum blond, fair with grey eyes, i burn just looking at a bright sun
the thing is we had boys and all our boys are like us, my mother always wanted a girl like here even through a granddaughter, it certainly shakes up the theories I was taught about recessive genes..

I did try to follow up the Cherokee and Hindi sides but to no avail they hid their pasts quite well, which is where my thoughts turn to our identities being linked to our sex and geography more than anything else, as to bridge the other stuff even between the same groups is as hard as bridging the divide with different groups.

We could talk about how racist the Democratic party has been for centuries, they were the KKK. We could even talk about the openly racist things Biden has done in his career as in he is a poster child for Jim Crow laws. We could also talk about how the Democrats lie on and on to minorities never actually trying to help them to rise up and just wanting to keep in the status quo.

I'm sure you remember some of that too.

At the end of the day, it was Europeans who created it, not the Africans who simply provided them with the poor saps who got sold into it.

Why do you insist on absolving Africa completely of their part?

Slavery wasn't something new in Africa, and once the Atlantic slave trade dried up it continues to this very day.

If the product isnt provided the dealers cant deliver it to the market.

so they made up dumb concept Calle "the dark ages"

What? Centers of learning burned down, books burned, superstition running rampant, throw in some diseases running wild because medical care got way worse... and you dont think it was the dark ages in europe?? yea some parts of the world were fine, but the dark ages were a real thing for 25+ million people.

Even some books written about how the Irish monks traveled all over Europe trying to save books/knowledge, hence the old joke the Irish saved civilization drank a couple pints of Guinness and forgot where they put it.

When you can talk about something without blaming the Left -- let me know.

Everyone knows about the "flip in the parties" from years back.

can i just add the dark ages came after the vandal minimum where the world got darker/colder, married to a rise in novel viruses taking their toll as rome withered and died..

during that period the isles of scilly where inundated with a 50ft sea level rise, we see similar ports along the med coast lost at similar points siting 20ft down below the waves.

when i was at school the dark ages where treated as a real climatic event the world was colder/darker and that drove European through various evolutions culminating in the big industrial changes leading us here.

that we face another climatic change is perhaps an omen of what's to come not least the rise in novel viruses..

I agree it is a slogan used by racist groups, but numbers matter here too. I also suggested that these racist groups are criminal gangs and not some popular saying by whites. I also suggested that most Whites would not know what White Pride even means if it bit them in the ass, so it is a gang signal used by gangs. I would say then that yes if one is around a group of people using it then they are most likely around a group that is very violent and intent on crime.

Back to the OP

There seems to be a lot of negativity towards racial pride, in the context of white pride. This is dangerously close to considered hate towards other races. Yet, no other race seems to struggle with asserting pride. Some ridicule the idea that there white people deserve pride. In my opinion, taking racial pride is indeed dangerous, it highlights differences amongst people, creates unease and a lack of inclusion.

I agree with this, but when we talk about White Pride it is very isolated my the true nature of those who would actually use it, whereas all the other so-called Pride are much wider spread.

I defined this in the past that started about 2012 were the progressive left moved from all of us being Americans back to being separated by race/color with forms of Pride used as we see today with minorities and other groups.

Good gaslighting, well that is what the liberals say to cover up their past. When did Biden flip when he fought to stop school busing since he didn't want his kids to go to the jungle? Don't need to go back too far to see how racist the Dems have been.

How does a whole party flip anyways...lol

similar or worse images, different race,

I wasn't saying the image I posted was bad, just that the point being made is that those are the type of people associated with the term.

Even if it is a double standard, someone telling you "this is why it is seen as bad" isn't saying it is right just that that is the reason why. It ain't that hard to figure that out.
